OMGG You remind me of my cravings for malaysia's chee cheong fun! My fav is the KL style chee cheong fun that are drenched in curry sauce & I get to choose whatever I want in it! 😋
Next time when you are in Klang Valley, you may consider visit the night market at Taman Connaught (every Wednesday, 1 of the most famous night market in KL) and the one at Setia Alam (every Saturday, the biggest night market in Malaysia. Located at Shah Alam, neighbouring city of KL). Even the HK TVB used to shoot a few of it's travelling tv shows in both markets before the pandemic.
Love this kind of vloggggg! I love how you give your honest review for every stall! And seriously your reaction to your oyster omelette is like HMMMMM 24:13 🤣
Wow, your spice tolerance really seemed to have improved! You're even willingly asking for chilli now 😆 Haha, chee cheong fun in Malaysia (especially in KL) is always full of ingredients (usually we choose our own toppings though). The black Tofu you ate is something I always get whenever I go to pasar malam 😁. It's considered 'stinky' Tofu but tbh it's not really stinky, maybe to cater to our local taste. It has a spicy and sour kick to it because of the sambal added into the soup. Suddenly craving for youtiao and ham chim peng and lots of fried Chinese doughnuts now 😫 when you looked at your wrist for the time and the caption: "our 1st merchandise: the invisible watch!!" HAHA your video editor.. 😆
Street food is something that is so missed during the pandemic & i love it!! It's good u got to eat so many hot foods instead of the usual... sidenote, the 5:40 black hair gal that mad a glance at you, so cute...
Set Matt just saying I have a habit to watch RUclips when eating at home and ever since I notice u a year ago I have been watching ur video every dinner at home without fail!! Keep it up and try ur best to post daily if not idn eat alr hahahaa
Since covid Long time no go pasar malam le.. missed pasar malam xia. Feel excited to watch your video make me feel wan to go this weekend 😂😂😂 btw your spicy level up already , I remembered last time you cannot take too spicy foods 👍
Not easy to hold the piping hot food and eat on the street as u walk. Good job and thxs for walking through the nice food :) ur satisfied face cant lie one!
At the place where you got the dim sum, you said "jie jie" while facing the camera and the moment you turn back to ask her about whether you are allowed to eat there, you called her "auntie"?? LOL
I like how whenever something tastes good u say its very good some people would use a different word or go in depth, makes it simpler for others haha nice video btw
At 16:48, the food is called cakoi (idk if this word is malay or some Chinese dialect). But it is one of our staple breakfast or tea time fingerfood. My personal favourite variation is the cakoi pulut (cakoi filled with sticky rice) and the shorter crisper cakoi (pretty sure there is an official name, but I couldn't find it on Google). You should try both variations the next time you eat cakoi. I've had cakoi's in klang Valley, Penang and ipoh, and I've never been disappointed 😍
Videos like this where you try food (i.e., vlog content) and give short reviews are nicer than food challenge!!! :D and you don't have to stuff yourself too!
Wow the chicken cutlet stall very high Sia so special. Zermatt bro u eat from day till night From one to the other end Our night market really can't compete with this vast variety 👍👏
Oh yay can’t wait for the HSK review. It’s amazing that they can run out of noodles at 2? because they usually open for dinner too. Must be a supply problem!
there is another night market at JB that is the taman pelangi night market, the most that i like there is the carrot cake ! you should try it ! i also recommend you to go Kopitiam Chin Chin if you want to eat Kuew teow soup, the one that near to Giant taman pelangi, hope you read my comment 🥰
Haha when you released the video ytd i was literally in Johor Jaya LOL. But for durian 😂 Since it was a Mon i went to the KSL night market instead but this one that you went to seems more relax and not so overly crowded. Thanks for the recommendations! I was snatching for the chicken parts too at the Ksl night market 😂😂😂
Nice one! Suggest to put in the pricing for those food u bought? Great to see you enjoying spiciness on a higher level! Looking forward to more foodvlogs
🥰 Thank you so much for sharing these fantastic and tasty food with your audience!! *SUPER DELICIOUS* 【Moreover, I like your cheerful and joyful character that you display!!!】
oh my gosh the night market is so near to my house I live in that area. but i think I only been there once in my life because they dont have a lot of malay/ muslim stall. Btw nice video review
The toufu with soup called as 黑豆腐 in kl, the taste in kl is much better than this in Johor Jaya Night Market. You can try test it when you travel in kl and visit Connaught Night Market
U should come further.. to Saturday Skudai Night market. U get smelly tofu, okonomiyaki, muah chee although same brand definitely much better den wat u have if u eat it on the spot much better than SG ones. Carrot cake, sweet potato balls, moo ping etc.. am so full now
Yes u deserve it men, been following you 3years from then... O my god!!! Rrally? You replied to my comment????? Hoooooo am happy at the same time you noticed mi from Philippines
In Msia although not compulsory to wear mask, but majority still wear. We kiasi sia. But seriously, we dun want bring it home and spread to family. 🤣🤣 Bro, kuih lobak (Malay) is carrot cake (English)... kuih (cake) lobak (carrot) 😁😁😁 2) It's called Heh-pia. Prawn cracker. We put chilli sauce on it
Were you going to city square top level wanton mee? I had it and it doesn't taste nice, and is so expensive… Anyway the night market is near Hong Kong Boy 香港仔, is like an open air hawker centre there! Super many food to try, the orh luak is damn good there!! Got loklok also. You can go there to film!
Not too sure if you've tried the carrot cake from Penang - in Penang carrot cake is carrot cake, Koay kak is koay kak (that stuff which you're eating at 21:13 is actually Koay Kak in Penang). Not too sure if ppl JB use carrot cake & cook it the koay kak way anot
Where do all the food go. I can understand if you eat more frequently but in one sitting with pile of food, where do they go? Like as if you have a built-in compacter 😁
Huh? I didn't know muah chee got add sesame oil one leh. Wow! Everything piping hot and u can just put in your mouth without getting scalded? Power lah! I miss M'sia pasar malam so much .... 😟
Hi! What time does this place starts? This is the lesser known night market that Singaporeans go to I'm guessing. A lot of nice food..yums. How long did you guys film and eat for this shoot? LOL I will need to find a toilet after a meal and some cooling water. I think the beancurd in Malaysia I tried so far are all very nice. That stall you shown looks great too. Love love love Malaysian style chee cheong fun. They have the plain ones with soy sauce, the ones like in Singapore with the sauces and also this type with yong tau fu and sauce or curry. In KL their chee cheong fun will be cut thinner super slurpy :P Then in Penang will have har cheong added with the usual sauces. Malaysian apom balik I love those with fresh graded coconut, very rare to find them now. It just taste better somehow compared to those thin batter kind in Singapore. SG's night market is just so boring compared to Malaysia's sigh...not much different variety, doesn't taste that great usually but very expensive.
Love the uncle that still do the preparation of food with love and perfection, thank you zermatt as always stay safe
You too brother 🙌
Wow, honestly Zermatt's spice level has seriously leveled up to x1000 compared to one year ago!!
Yes eh. I'm prepping for Mark's restaurant
Malaysia pasar malam really feels like pasar malam instead of Carnival/bazar type..Tq for promoting JB bro! 👍👍
You're welcome!
Zermatt Neo - why u don't dare to eat the expensive buffet in Malaysia ?
OMGG You remind me of my cravings for malaysia's chee cheong fun! My fav is the KL style chee cheong fun that are drenched in curry sauce & I get to choose whatever I want in it! 😋
