Absolutely LOVE your videos, both speedruns and challenges. Really amazing to see one of my favorite games ever pushed to their limits like this! Your commentary is amazing too
@@Pincii_ unfortunately streaming really doesn’t fit well with my schedule, I have a 3 year old so I mostly I play in the middle of the night while he’s asleep, also Gloom speedruns in general I don’t think make for very good streams, I frequently will spend an hour just resetting on levels 1 and 2 trying to get an acceptable pace going.
Congrats! U are making the game even more fun for me. Why are there rules to only use jotl characters? If spell weaver is available, would she be better and more consistent than red guard in first 3 scenarios? The crackling air combo I find is much better than relying on rng for whether vermlings attack. And movement on spellweave is great
It’s just one of the small rules on the speedrun.com leaderboard. Spellweaver absolutely demolishes lower difficulty runs (for Gloomhaven easy I use her and a Hatchet to beat 16 missions in 1:18 and All classes her a Lightning Bolt and Hatchet to unlock all the classes in 1:25) but she begins to fall off when she can’t just 1 shot everything since she’s so squishy. I haven’t put much though into which base Gloom characters would do the Jotl run but I might just be a Mindtheif and Lightning Bolt. Does sound fun to mess around with though.
@@RoarRumble I may do some for Frosthaven but I also want to stay spoiler free for my physical group so it would take a long time. I do also kinda wanna do a Lightning Bolts one as she seems to be misunderstood from various comments I’ve seen from some people on Reddit.
Have you ever considered making videos breaking down good deck builds for the different characters? Deck building well is always my biggest struggle in any game
@@ucgxanathos2171 In my current campaign I've been struggling a little bit with my Plagueherald. I've tried to synergize my cards around "Succumb to the Gift" but I don't feel like it's as good as it could be. But even just general tips for all the classes would be dope!
@@TheCroBrosChannel I have a specific way I played my last Plagueherald that I think worked pretty well, I’ll try to throw something together when I get home!
