This video series is the best training tool that I've found. Rod explains difficult concepts in a very easy to follow and understand way. I'm now sold on Drupal and will be using it extensively going forward. I've struggled with WordPress, and building HTML from scratch is too time consuming for me to be profitable. I am excited about these new tools and I owe a huge thank you to Rod for this video series.

Oh yeah, and you should probably write some books too. There are a lot of wannabe teachers on youtube that are so confusing, don't properly explain concepts, are incomplete on the basics and not at all organized like this. This series is definitely among the best.
Is this course still relevant in 2021? I know v9 is the latest, but have been told differences from v8 are fairly minimal (?). I need to get up to speed on Drupal for a new job and I have WordPress theme dev experience. Thanks!

I delete the drupal logo on left side of screen and tried to replace without logo. Nothing happens. Only blue square next to home button. Please help. I have now jewel your entire 64 video online.
If you just want the site name to show up, go to Structure->Block Layout and find the Site Branding block. Click the configure button on the right. Uncheck Logo. If you want the site name to show up, put a checkmark in that box. Save and you should be set.

Hi! I'm new on Drupal. I'm using Drupal 8, Drupal core 8.8.5. I would like to use Geolocation module but I'm having problems. I have created Google Maps API Key and enabled Maps JavaScript API. But I still see "For development purposes only" on the map. I can't search places, I can't do anything. Please help.
Thanks for the time and effort spent on these videos. I do think they're a little bit slow, but they're very useful, well organized and clearly explained. I do have one question though, is there any reason why someone would still prefer Drupal 7 over Drupal 8? Drupal 8 has been officially launched for a while now, but is this like with Windows version, better wait for a year or 2 until the majority of bugs are out of it and all apps (modules for Drupal) have been written? Or is it more like if you're still working on a D7 website, you can, but it would be better to start looking at D8 now? I still have to learn a lot and I don't know which version would be best to start with.
if you ask me you should use laragon. For drupal you should be using php 7.4 + , so in today's version of laragon needing to be updated in php version , it has own documentation in it for how to do
Dear OSTraining, i am working on a forum with complex user management. which allows new user to register under a user role(let's say manager) (there will be more than one manager to choose from) but need that manager's approval . the manager can create new user and can also approve new user that sign up under him and manage them(CRUD). But these manager aren't allow to see each other user. I've tried subuser, entity registration(which i don't know how to continue),multiple registration. IT should be done in web page, not through administration panel. please leave some tips on which module should i use.
