    great vid, thanks for posting.
    i bought the jacket……then the gloves, looking at getting the pants……and i’ll probably end up getting the socks 😄
    it’s not cheap as you say, but it’s well worth it, safe riding 👍

      I might remove the insulation from mine to make them thinner. Only purpose was riders complained that when the knees were bent the knee pad from their trousers was digging the wires into their knees 🤷🏻‍♂️. I make a video of removing and trying them.

    Wool Socks. That's the answer to cold feet. My ticker doesn't pump the blood round good enough now so I wear pure wool socks all year round. Superb...oh and interesting vid. Thanks.

      I wear a base layer, lambs wool jumper under my textile and it's perfect. Got a lot of wind protection on my bike too mind.

    Wow this gear seems great a slippery slope though once ya get the gloves ya end up with the rest good review. So you would not need a base layer with this gear and would you say that these gloves would be the best on the market ? Good one : )

      I know it gets addictive. I won’t bother with base layers if I have these on. I tried the other big branded gloves at the Motorcycle show in 2019 and found the Gerbing were better quality and warmer so I bought them.

    Great vid again. Did the heated trousers do anything to help keep your gents veg warmer against the tank?
    Got a VFR myself. 5th Feb ‘99 version. So I feel your pain in that department. Like a little bag of frozen mixed veg if I’m out too long in the cold
    By the time I get home my conkers have retracted so far they end up tucked under my armpits! 😊
    Be interested to know if those trousers helped.

      😂😂 conkers. They warmed the inner part of the thigh where it touches the tank but the Crown Jewels will left out to play with Olaf

    I’ve just invested in exactly the same kit Craig but was advised that the single as opposed to the dual controller had to be used because of the gloves having their own control (buttons) ? I’d much prefer to have the same set up as you have with jacket and gloves on one setting with trousers and socks on the other… did you have any issues with the change of controller and how does it all connect together pal?

    • @Motourev
      @Motourev  2 года назад +1

      No problem at all. The dual controller has 4 wires. 1 goes to the power supply on the bike (battery) then you have 3 wires to plug clothing in. 1 wire is for the gloves that bypasses the controller and just sends the power to the gloves which you then control with the gloves. So there’s 2 wires left to plug clothes into which the controller then controls there settings, so I have the my socks plugged into the trousers and then the trousers plugged into one of the wires on the controller. I then use the other spare wire for the jacket so with the two buttons the options I have are button 1 turns up or down socks and trousers together, button 2 turns up and down the jacket. I will make a video today showing how I wire it up.
