I’ve ran this drill 8 times and haven’t gotten even close to passing. Still trying tho. Going for my 9th run in a few hours. It’s good to see that even pro’s fall short at times. Very inspiring. Still a great run, sir.
I believe Scott is the lead guy out there with respect to Red Dot instruction…his over all instruction, from what I see…Is second to none! Period! ….respectfully, 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻Rusty Redican LAPD Firearms Training Unit.
Close only counts in horse shoe's and hand grenades....lol Thank you for showing us that even the modern samurai isn't perfect and that we all are on a journey and have to continuously put in the work and have to discipline our body and mind to be a true craftsman. I'm sure you will get it!
You blew it for a change. Would be boring if it worked out all the time. I like those challenge videos. On your draw in slow mo (if I see that right) you come from relaxed to a shrug to get your arms up to your belt line quicker(?). Early on in the video it's more pronounced while less later with more distance. How does this play in you draw and what do you want out of this stage of the draw when you adjust it? Did you analyse what caused that last shot?
The shrug is not intentional. Quickly moving my elbows to get my hands over the gun to stab don’t and bounce the gun out is what is happening. The shoulders are connecting to my arms and elbows. That slight shrug movement is a by product not a goal. The delta was a by product of being overly aggressive with my sight package. Splits were in the low 20s. The next I didn’t not slow down but was more careful and was successful on that run.

Oddly, I think that posting a fail (albeit an extremely impressive one!) may actually be more inspiring than a pass. Thanks for sharing.
I appreciate how all you top trainers work with and support each other.

So close you definitely got it next time Scott 💯
This drill is a master level test. I'd be willing to say just short of God mode. I will definitely give it a try 30-90 times. 😂
no body is perfect
The old saying; "close only counts in Horseshoe's and Handgrenades". Carry on.
i wonder what his thoughts are on the leupold delt point micro red dot . i am looking for a red dot sight for my conceal carry glock 19 gen 3
It’s on ok red dot but the technology is kinda antiquated for 2023. You should go for a holosun 407/507 or a trijicon rmr or sro

Turn off your aimbot!
YOu also need to train your mind if you ever want to consider yourself a modern.. samurai, not just physical arts.
Keep hiding behind paintbrushes and butterflies….
@@ModernSamuraiProject you and the rest of these gun yt channels who put samurai in your names are a disgrace to these once past medieval warriors.
