  • See Elephant island that saved Ernest Shackleton and the crew of Endurance in 1916. One of the greatest survival stories and example of determination to succeed. Hear my option on how Royal Caribbean missed the boat on the Antarctica section of the world cruise.

What a beautiful place. Totally agree with you on the music. Sounds like the ship that your wife was on totally respected the area. If you’re in such a serene, beautiful, amazing place I’m sure it would be nice just to hear the water , rock music seems to ruin the atmosphere. Also, agree with you on the whales , man has a tendency to destroy everything.

This is the best channel documenting the world cruise. You upload in 4K and still manage to post before other channels, and very informative as well to the history of the places you are visiting.

Another beautiful place. Yes, I agree with the music and loud talking staying indoors and for an experience person explaining everything you see. Yes, I think/believe this is the very first Royal ship in Antarctica, so, they didn't know. I hope with you all feedback, if Royal sends another ship there, they will know. I've been on the Alaska cruises with Royal and yes, the ship is pretty quiet when we sail through the glaciers and someone would give some informative information over the speakers in the room while we're sailing.

I would also want a quieter, more educational experience. At least with this spot, I think I could just play your video if I’m there and get a good review of the history!

Thanks for the great photography and scenery. Also, love the history you included. It was very interesting. I wonder if they were able to use parts of the seal for fuel. I know the parts of the whale are sometimes used as fuel. Those crew men were obviously not modern day, Texans. I live in the Dallas area and we are having three days of temperature in the teens. You would think the end of the wall has arrived by the way people are reacting. By Wednesday it’ll be back up in the 40s and 50s. Stay safe.

Thank you for your narration and for sharing the beautiful scenery. I agree that Royal should fly in a naturalist onboard foor these remote areas. I'd be afraid of the Drake passage to get down there. Do you have an aft facing balcony? Are you getting a lot of ship exhaust? That happened to us on Disney. Keep the footage coming! I'm enjoying your journey from my couch in freezing Illinois 🥶 right now. I can't believe it's warmer in Antarctica!! 😂

Thank you, Bob! This was great to see. Agree about the music and lack of informative commentary. Still awesome nonetheless. Will look forward to your next post! Safe travels to all of you onboard~~
