    I'd absolutely recommend a book on this topic: Endurance: Shackleton's Incredible Voyage, is a 1959 book written by Alfred Lansing.
    It's a non-fiction that reads like a thriller !

    As a little boy I was fascinated by Polar explorers. Last month visited Elephant Island. Never in my dreams did I think I would see this😅.

    We visited Antarctica by celebrity eclipse this February . Now writing about my cruise in Gujarati language - one of the languages from India . Got much clear picture . Thank you for answering all my questions . By the way , we lived in Chicago and have seen worst weather , i remember , so got some glimpse..

    They lived on meat and animal fat. Good advertising for the diet.
