Can we recognize the sequence starting around 20:41 where GMan basically clears an entire insurgent cell on his own? Just dumped a huge pile of 5.56 into that house and the occupants thereof.

Legit sounded like the insurgents at the end reacted to the sound of you saying "frag" and tossed one first. This game is honestly insane, loving the flares mode.

Cant wait to get to play it on PS5 next year it looks like its shaping up to be the best modern tactical FPS on consoles
I don't go for survival horror games with their cheap jump scares and reliance on gore, torture, and twisted fantasies, but this. This is a take on the survival horror genre I can get behind. A realistic, tactical shooter that is not only absolutely terrifying, but forces you to face that fear and run into the danger.
An interesting feature that might be cool for this game is getting suppressing fire from an adjacent squad, the suppression will keep the heads of the bad guys down for a few seconds, giving you and your team time to move around

Suppression is 100% a thing in this game. One time there was a building with at least 6 insurgents inside, and they were pouring lead out the windows at us. Every time we opened up on them, the enemy would hunker down and stop shooting, but the moment we let up, they’d let us know they’re still alive. Took 2 full belts of nonstop SAW fire to make them give up and flee out the back door. Unfortunately for them. Our guy was waiting for just that.

Ah see now I played it with a couple buddies, one who was actually there and his words were "glad it isnt night right now.." with the nods comment he said "f'k that i didnt see nods" and laughed at me 😅 having roamed the streets during the day..thats hairy enough. Night time? I kinda wanna try it but also screw everything about it haha Oorah!

Hope they make the models look a little better. Cat eyes on the back of the helmets should be glowing too for easy PID. Really hoping we get Army dudes too, they don't get any recognition for the battle of Fallujah.

Insurgency Sandstorm’s night is my favorite thing from how beautiful it is with the lighting. I can only imagine how great it’ll be when it comes out.

Update looks amazing. But I have one complaint. If you’re gonna give the enemy grenades, at least give the player time to react when they use them. There was literally nothing Pairs could have done at the end, because that thing exploded the second it hit the wall. It should be on a 5 second timer like every other fragmentation grenade on earth, not an impact explosive.
We really really need to be able to breach without having to stand directly in front of the door. I'm hoping a game like this isn't going to leave that how it is. It just kills the feel of breaching for me being stuck in the funnel like that.

everytime I play this game it goes fine for about 10 minutes then shit goes down and somebody gets seperated, then I shit myself again when I run into them and either 1 of two things happen: I shoot them out of panic, they shoot me out of panic.

how is playing this game alone? Can I jump in with randoms and if so how's the experience?
to be honest I haven't played with randoms. Solo is tough, really tough, but doable. Best practice is to grab homies off discord. My server is a good place to meet gamers and go into your favorite tactical games with grown ups.
