one thing I will never forget about mick, is when I was watching the "beyond the mat" documentary, there were 2 rookies who went for trails in WWF, and everyone looked to be ignoring them, and mick, who was at the time the WWF champion, went up to one of the guys to talk to him. shows the character of the guy
Pete Rosenberg really does some great interviews with Wrestlers. I think it's really cool how he's such a fan that he takes time out of a mainstream hip hop show to do wrestling interviews. Great job as always.
Mick Foley is definitely in my top 10 wrestlers of all time. Not for technicality, but for innovation. He raised the bar so high for hardcore spots that no one has ever beaten it. Mick Foley is the Hardcore Legend. And Terry Funk, of course.
I've met Mick Foley, also seen him the day after WrestleMania, downtown Miami, he was literally eating at a table right next to mine, and I was about to go up to him and thank him for everything he's done in the business for us wrestling fans, but before I could do it..I just couldn't because he was with his family who they talk about in this video..i just couldn't bother him, it wasn't an autograph session, he's a good dude though!!
I met him after a house show in Altoona Pa in like 91. I was like 8 years old and I was shocked how nice the Cactus was. Good man. He had a no DQ vs Sting that night and got pretty roughed up. It was before I was a smark. I asked "Is it real?" and he described all the injuries and surgeries he had had already and to think of how much more punishment we would put himself through, what a badass.
I actually had a chance to meet Mick Foley at one of his book signings for his frist book. He was so nice and kind to me and my dad. i was just 13 years old at the time and only thing i remember was how rough his hands felt and how cool he was. I was so scared but he was actually asking me questions to get me to talk lol. but yea he really was a cool guy and he really is a legend of wrestling and now writing.
Mick Foley looks like a bada** history teacher or something. If you never watched WWE, you'd be surprising that such a mild-mannered dude was who he is!!! I admire & respect Mick Foley & am superglad he's being inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame this year! Bang Bang!! Dude Love FTW!!!!!!
was fortunate enough to be backstage at WM12 and the after party afterward and it was his 1st night in the WWF, he stayed to himself most of the night but was way cool to me and my friends, told us about his new character and his impending attack on taker. classy cat
mick is honestly the only wrestler i would have no doubts on meeting. what u see is what u get, a hardcore teddy bear. unlike other wrestlers who have giant larger than life egos, and totally disrespectful to their fans. Mick is the complete opposite
great interview. love mick..austin should certainly do a match a wrestlemania i'd like to see mick there for sure..but he shouldn't wrestle if he feels as bad as he says..i wouldn't want to see half of a mick foley match but he brings more than enough just in being there commentating and doing shoots..great guy mick!!
If you want to learn anything about wrestling, you have to read Mick Foley's books. Such a great entertainer. Not a great wrestler but he embodies wrestling entertainment.
As soon as Ziggler was going up against Rey Mystero, knew he was going to be someone one day. Didn't really think much of Cody until he became "Dashing". Can see Wade Barret is going to be big ever sense he became Chris Jerichos rookie. What I want to know is when is Tyson Kidd going to get his shot? He's probably the most underrated wrestler there & probably the best wrestler in the company today. When is he going to get his shot?
Great interview! I would only say one thing re: Beyond The Mat. Had his wife not lost her shit during the Rock match, the kids would not have gotten upset. So the real question is was his wife "working"? I think she was because she wanted to be famous. Just my opinion and I could be wrong, but I'm more critical of her as a parent than Mick.
Nope. Mick Foley is awesome. Even IF he only does 5 moves (which he doesn´t,he has atleast 6+pin) he still does them perfectly and for the bumbs alone he take he has to be acknowledged
mick foley is just a very smart and funny guy. and ofcourse the hardcore legend who sacrificed his body for fans. but he was right about shawn michaels ofcourse he's the best ever.
Legends have to selll tickets too!!!!!!! Sabu and Whipwreck can''t sell shit worth of tickets so Mick is a legend. TV ratings and ticket sales count as much as anything.
your right....to be honest, if it wasnt for mick foley guys like the rock, undertaker, & triple h would never have had the type of status that they have now....they all have had memorable mstches and classic feuds with foley.....KOTR 98' launched taker into legendary status....RR 99 did the same to the rock....NWO 01 for triple h...thats just to name a few
hate or love mick foley but nobody in the business before or after could look at his career and think of 1 upin him without death as a huge mathamatical probability!
Oh come on! Those "legend contracts" are just for jerks like Kevin Nash who still need to make money at other events! Vince "loves" Foley - He went even so far to promote Mick`s book when he was still under contract at TNA!
He's nothing like how you'd expect him to be after watching him in the ring. That's how good a performer he really is.
My former teacher has meet Mick and knows his parents and I have heard so much great things about Micky
I always feel more enlightened and overall better after watching any/all Foley interviews, he's just such a wonderful human being
he's like the uncle that slides you a beer when nobody's looking at thanksgiving
Just finished watching Beyond the Mat, the Micker is amazing!
Came here to see Mick's comments on Punk but actually loved the whole interview. :).
one thing I will never forget about mick, is when I was watching the "beyond the mat" documentary, there were 2 rookies who went for trails in WWF, and everyone looked to be ignoring them, and mick, who was at the time the WWF champion, went up to one of the guys to talk to him. shows the character of the guy
Now he gets that chance for the hall of fame and will always be remembered as the hardcore legend, at least next to terry funk
mic foley definitely deserves to be on everyones top 20 list , for what he was willing to do to his body to make the fight look REAL, he deserves it
Pete Rosenberg really does some great interviews with Wrestlers. I think it's really cool how he's such a fan that he takes time out of a mainstream hip hop show to do wrestling interviews. Great job as always.

Mankind is a humble dude
Mick Foley isn't just a great wrestler, he is also a great human being. Class act.
Mick's legend joke had me almost spitting out my breakfast, way too funny. Thanks Mick Foley.
was fortunate enough to be backstage at WM12 and the after party afterward and it was his 1st night in the WWF, he stayed to himself most of the night but was way cool to me and my friends, told us about his new character and his impending attack on taker. classy cat

i love you mick foley. You are a hardcore legend
mick foley now thats a man with huge balls that guy took so much damage in the wwf and lives to tell his tales
ahhitskenny the only man to have his entrance video pure carnage of his own body.
mick is honestly the only wrestler i would have no doubts on meeting. what u see is what u get, a hardcore teddy bear. unlike other wrestlers who have giant larger than life egos, and totally disrespectful to their fans.
"Hardcore teddy bear." Best Description I have ever read about Foley.
Great interview....I'd love to see an interview with Ted DiBiase (Million Dollar Man) and Ricky Steamboat.
For years I have posted Foley should be in Hall of Fame and finally this year Foley is entering Hall of Fame 2013! Thank you WWE!
Its always nice to see a man of many personalities in his original state of mind... xD
I googled those words together in one shot... yes, Mick Foley comes up.
Good interview
FOLEY! FOLEY! FOLEY!
A NY legend...
the dusty rhodes impression was awesome!
damn hearing this makes me wish mick had a longer reign
Mick Foley is one of the best. Anybody that argues that fact is cracked in the skull
If you want to learn anything about wrestling, you have to read Mick Foley's books. Such a great entertainer. Not a great wrestler but he embodies wrestling entertainment.
Mick Foley the legend
Mick Foley could be number one let alone top ten
In my top 5, easy! Foley is just absolutely great. SUPER SMART!!!!!
Mick Foley is not a legend? That is horse manure! Mick Foley is a legend and a very inspiring person!
I like Mick a lot more now
that was from home alone where he said kids come around
FOLEY IS GOD AND GREATEST BUMP TAKER IN WWF/E HISTORY
HELL YEAH THE FUNKER!!!!! GREATEST OF ALL TIME!!!!!
@Steven leschinski
Foley had his own gym and body builder club. Hes always been bigger but hes had some muscles
Not to mention, that until this day i cannot really comprehend how the fuck he is still alive
Thumbs up if you knew he would say Terry Funk as his favorite of all time.
ohh the mick foley wink!!!!!
Holy shit, Dewy is 20 now? Would it be okay to cane him now?
Great interview! I would only say one thing re: Beyond The Mat. Had his wife not lost her shit during the Rock match, the kids would not have gotten upset. So the real question is was his wife "working"? I think she was because she wanted to be famous. Just my opinion and I could be wrong, but I'm more critical of her as a parent than Mick.
lol he is already in the hall of fame "class of 2009 inducted with Dory"
whoa.. some of those guys made him look great too but that said he is a Legend
@andrey87ish did u watch the rock's return to the ring last month? what about next mania?
Mark Henry has the major misfortune to have to work with Big Show.
Foley was an overall Bigger star than any of those guys you mentioned
Mick called it on ziggler
wrestlemania match: mick foley vs wade barrett
I thought it would be Al Snow :D
the first time i met him was in philly the night before he got tossed off the hell in a cell at the king of the ring.
How is going down stairs worse on your knees than going up?
Wrong John Candy movie, that movie was Home Alone.
Mick looking like Charlie Manson
Kevin Nash gets a legend contract and Mick doesn't?
lol
For the people that tell me wrestling is fake, I tell them to go watch a Mick Foley match
Nope. Mick Foley is awesome. Even IF he only does 5 moves (which he doesn´t,he has atleast 6+pin) he still does them perfectly and for the bumbs alone he take he has to be acknowledged
Mick got his John Candy quotes mixed up.
can you please come back and get mr 5 moves of doom of my tv screen
mick foley is just a very smart and funny guy. and ofcourse the hardcore legend who sacrificed his body for fans. but he was right about shawn michaels ofcourse he's the best ever.
I haven't made it past 5 minutes yet but how can you interview Mankind and not ask him about the Rock
Legends have to selll tickets too!!!!!!! Sabu and Whipwreck can''t sell shit worth of tickets so Mick is a legend. TV ratings and ticket sales count as much as anything.
SOCKO!!!!!
your right....to be honest, if it wasnt for mick foley guys like the rock, undertaker, & triple h would never have had the type of status that they have now....they all have had memorable mstches and classic feuds with foley.....KOTR 98' launched taker into legendary status....RR 99 did the same to the rock....NWO 01 for triple h...thats just to name a few
He wouldn't as underrated if HHH wasn't so jealous of him.

Foley is GOD .
WM 30 Terry Funk/Undertaker 21-1 ... FUCK YES
Flair!
get CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan on the show

I love Mick but putting the days of pumping iron behind him, when were they ever in front of him.
hate or love mick foley but nobody in the business before or after could look at his career and think of 1 upin him without death as a huge mathamatical probability!
@MetalBen721 Yeah bullshit. No one saw Ziggler coming
his brain might be scrambled but he is still the smartest of them all.
I love mick more than anything but right after he claimed to polite he cut off pete lol
i'd like to see mick foley vs the miz in a hardcore match. i wanna see miz BLEED
I quite like peter Rosenberg and his interview but the fact he refers to him self as a smart mark is kinda sad..
Foley always seems like he could be your uncle or something.
does mick age? lol he looks the same as ten years ago!:p
impact
Oh come on! Those "legend contracts" are just for jerks like Kevin Nash who still need to make money at other events!
Vince "loves" Foley - He went even so far to promote Mick`s book when he was still under contract at TNA!
My boyfriend went to school with Dewey.
impact coming down.. going up is hardly any impact
@esya1987 age wise, he is. lol.
What the fuck do you mean by that?
