After the events of the last video, the team has decided it's time to find Scott. He seems to be the only piece of Syntec willing to gives us answers. However, something is clearly off, as he thinks we're in the year 2000. Will he still be able to help?

At the end when Scott was stuttering, it seemed as if he was trying to pull a distant memory out of the air. At first, I was wondering if he was trying to remember the past. But when he said that it hasn’t happened yet, it made more sense. Maybe that’s why in the location #7 video he was so rushed, because of the people chasing him in the present have caught up with him trying to help Sam and Woods
also in the last video the security camera "cam220808" can be 08/08/22 cuz most camera's use these type of date format the backwards one

I'm not saying he's a psychic but its strange how he says that and what that the camera's name is "cam220808". and if he does know that the events in the video hasn't happened yet, then is that one reason he wants to stay at the studio? so many questions.

Theory: When he said " it's just a feeling" it could mean that he was so close to Deborah and when you have that pit of anxiety in your stomach about someone then a " feeling" comes over you that you can't express in words, only actions. I think that's why Scott said that he was knew she was in danger, and that's why he went over to debs apartment to check if she's okay

Theory: Scott knows about the time travel and that’s why he said he can’t say because it would possibly change the future and by changing the future it would mess things up, that’s why at the end of the video he didn’t want to say but he was pressured and he confessed that it never happened and by saying that, it could ruin everything that’s going to happen in the future

I think Syntech probably did something to his employees like Scott so they can’t say anything if that makes sense like you could almost tell as confused as Scott is he wants to help he just can’t get the words out

@@s_ky03 not quite. The team still heard Gary and “John Doe’s” voices. They would be able to tell when Doe visited in person. My assumption is he doesn’t want subject 4 trying to look up police files or contacting the California police to ask questions
Theory: John Doe or whoever he is, planted the serums inside Scott's locker to frame him. He went in before you guys even arrived to Location 7, and made it sound like nothing interesting was inside. When there was clearly several things inside posing more questions about Scott and you guys. My Gut points towards John Doe as the murderer.
Its a good theory and it might be someone who trying to put the blame on scott or scott knows the murderer and wants to keep them hidden and get all the consequences and blame.

Scott saying "it hasn't happened yet" implies he knows some events that will happen in the future. I'm wondering if him wanting to stay is not only to protect himself but also the future? Maybe he wants to make sure nothing gets screwed up and ends up changing things before they even happen, like the butterfly effect.

Possible theory: when woods asked scott about they tape and he in the end abruptly said "it hasn't happened" really puts weight to the idea of syntec and time travel.
He also said at the end it hasn't happened YET which means he knows it will happen

Theory: I think Deb knew that project 863 would work because in an earlier season video you guys found a file saying that she knew this timeline would work. I think Deb time traveled through this timeline and saw that project 863 could take down Syntec. She could have placed clues from the past and future to help the team (like the CD is Scott’s locker, the files in her cabinet for all 3 members, and Scott in the time loop so they would find him at the right moment). She probably also saw her death and knew that these things needed to be in place before she died. This is why she told us all the clues would be there, because she placed them all there for us to find. The pieces of the puzzle with fall into our laps because that how she made it happen. She trusts us and knows we can stop Syntec because she saw it, all we have to do is trust in Deb.

If we are dealing with time travel then the Woods and Sam tape hasn't happened yet like Scott said. At some point Sam, Woods and Scott go back in time to do something and the shots are needed to maybe stabilize them. Their clothes definitely look like early 2000s.

I’ve been waiting for this episode… So, it looks like every time you reset the time loop he forgets everything, but this time was different. It seemed like he remembered more and obviously not telling us all the facts. He lied when he told us about the year and the fact that he knew that it was in the future with what happened with him, sam, and woods makes me think that Scott had more to do with time travel then he was leading on. Maybe he tried to time travel and it led him into this loop that he is in right now. I wonder what would happen if you guys were to move the mountaineer out of the spot and the next day at the time Scott is suppose to appear but it back but have the cameras or someone to watch current Scott to see what would happen. Would he disappear into thin air? Would it make a clone of him? Would the loop be broken? Can’t wait for the next episode!

Since the loop theory has led us back to Scott, I'd try saying the phrase "The break room is out of creamer." To him and see if it triggers a response or a perhaps a core memory. Like if you agree
I feel like Scott isn’t in a time loop and he’s just time traveling. We don’t know much about time travel but a side effect could be memory loss. He travels throughout time doing things like working a regular day at syntec and then injecting the things into Sam and woods. Maybe he isn’t even the one doing the traveling. Someone at syntec could be doing it and he doesn’t even know he’s part of an experiment.

@@ullcringe2895 Great Question! I would think either he might get his memory back, or just maybe automatic get his memory deleted, but maybe there are some triggers to get him to remember some stuff in the past. Or maybe nothing would happen, who knows.

I’ve been rewatching the videos and the thing that keeps coming back to me is when sam’s birth was predicted in the files in the desk under the stairs. Deb also would reference this “timeline” being the only one that worked. These pieces of evidence hint at time travel. Also, with what Scott said in this video saying “it hasn’t happened yet” maybe they had means of being able to see into the future through some other project they had been working on.
A lot more hint at time travel. The duplicate key that John Doe had. He must have gotten it from another timeline and his theory is probably involving time travel or something. I don't think we ever learned what hos theory was.
As I said last video: The file from the locker was labeled CAM20220808 I still don't understand how a company full of people that deal with camera footage daily haven't put together that it happens Aug 8, 2022...

They most likely do know the date but just don't have a reaction to when planning the storyline and possibly bringing it back up soon and have more explanation on it

Theory: time travel is how the journals got the writing in them and how they keep vanishing too.
Consider moving the mountaineer to ensure that Scott doesn't keep time looping in other words prevent him from disappearing out of the vault.
you should definitely ask Him if he recognizes Woods and Sam in anyway and maybe show him the tape.

When Scott said it hasn't happened yet at the end that just brings up the theory of time travel even more. It could mean that in the future they're going to have to get Scott's help while being chased. It also explains why Scott needs to stay there, To help them.

Theory: Do you know how it’s location 7 I think that if we check the area we would discover all the evidence we need to know and also at the end where he says’ It hasn’t happened yet’ I think it might happen in like the future but it was recorded before hand and how Scott keeps coming for the red mountaineer and trying to go to work and how he never remembers anything at all.

Theory: Maybe Scott really doesn't know exactly what happens in the future. He's not playing dumb, he actually doesn't know because the time loop starts when he leaves work in 2000 so he has no clue what does or will happen for a whole 22 years, at least not down to the exact details.When they pressured him about the location 7 video, he said it hasn't happened yet because it clearly does happen, and none of them remember it so educated guess says it hasn't happened yet. That didn't necessarily mean he does know about it and is hiding it
From what information Scott was giving you during the 'interview' he shouldn't have known about Deb's murder however when it is brought up in conversation, he nods along and has no reaction to his friend dying even though he was the one protecting her, warning her and taking care of her. And guys, I would be careful about having him inside the vault, he is around syntec stuff, disappearing stuff and he could either take it or maybe disappear himself but I do think it is a good call to keep him there.

Scott has been a time loop for who knows how long and he just found out that everything changed literally in the blink of an eye. That's a LOT to process... I would try to find or contact Ben, because he was working beside Deb in the lab and he knows everything that has been going on so he may be able to answer a lot more questions. Also if Scott really is in a time loop maybe he can find what's triggering it and break it.

Theory: What doesn’t make sense is the idea of Sam and Woods letting Scott inject them with something in the future. Maybe he meant it hasn’t happened for HIM, but Sam and Woods would remember it and wouldn’t look like that if it was too long ago. Just a thought.

OF COURSE! I know why Scott said "It hasn't happened yet" (Sam and Woods being injected) ,on the video disk, there was a series of numbers ,presumably the date, that stated ,"220808" - The 8th of August 2022 - It hasn't happened yet!

Scott is a very great actor. He seems to know more than what he's letting on. One possible outcome that i just thought of is that he was in on time traveling and created a way to do so along with other Syntec employees that way he knows a lot more events that might have already happened or soon will happen. Another reason Deb knew a few steps ahead. My question is though, can certain events change things around that can lead to a different outcome which is why Deb might have been surprised looking when she died of who was her killer?

If Scott thinks its the year 2000, and deb was "unalived" say, a month ago, then it wasn't Scott. Unless there's a current day Scott that did it. but at that point your Scott wouldn't know.
If he disappears from the vault though you need to redo what you did to break the time loop after having him in the vault, move the mountaineer after putting him in the vault, the old key should still work if you still have it and he wont give up the new key.
as far as we've seen Scotts in our "time signature" for maybe 20 minutes without the loop doing its thing. so you have that much time.

Him saying “it hasn’t happened yet” means he is stuck in a time loop, so breaking him out of the loop may be the only way to figure out what he did to Sam and woods.

cuz they messed up and told him what year it was before they could ask HIM what year he THOUGHT it was... so time was being talked about a lot, and if he didn't remember it then he could only assume it didn't happen yet.. unless he does remember it..

Scott is definitely in a time loop that never ends, but you guys broke it so now everything is messed up.
