冬天要飲熱水，買幾個保暖壼，煲一或兩次，倒入壼到，想飲熱水就有，唔使次次煲水

衣服會在夏天買減價冬天衫，冬天買減價夏天衫，在有二手衫店或市集也可，平常衣服穿到不能穿為止，食物會留意任何地方減價貨品（通常還有6個月至一年期到），零食小買至唔買，乾品食物會多些因可留長時間些，本人會長時間留意減價罐頭食物，如果罐頭放陰涼乾燥地方可比本身保用日期長久（不能有凹凸位），食凈餸菜會用來抄反、煮麵、煮意粉，湯通心粉、夾麵包、炒菜，小朋友一定要食足，大人可食7至8成飽可，有些電器可以唔用咁多，麵包機、咖啡機、咖啡可用即冲，在英國麵包新買可不用雪、雪過麵包才用機加熱食所以麵包盡量不買太多或可日日買，煮食～小油至0油、小鹽、0糖，家人上班我是不開燈，燈泡盡量細%節能環保燈泡，夏天本人早晚開風電吹，家人晚上睡才開冷氣睡，冬天盡量着多件衫睡和羽絨被，盡量唔開電暖爐。

It's the same in Australia! Apart from switching off appliances at the main on the wall, I have always stock up extra for non-perishable essentials such as toothpaste, mouthwash, detergent etc. whenever I see them at half price - yes half price, not just measly 10 or 20% off. I also turn off lights I don't need and only cook more instead of dining out more. But probably as money-smart as you guys, you are already doing all of them. Oh yeah I only do laundry early in the morning so I save from energy costs.
有人話千祈唔好肚餓嘅時候行入超級市場，因為可能會傾向買很多食物，食飽後才入去購物可能會慳啲錢。過節前亦最好避免進入商店流連，免得破財。

我在英國居住要洗衣機，一定會買有時間制的，方便在平價電力供應時段(日出前😅）開機洗衫；要叉電的電器也選擇在平價電力時段才進行叉電。

So lucky we installed two solar panels on roof top and wood fire for winter, that’s save up heaps in energy bill. Groceries in general has come down as well. A punnet of cherry tomatoes (250g) in September costed $8, now $3.99; avocado costed $5 ea, now $0.99……..I hope cost of living will return to normal soon enough.😅
