香港嘅小一講唔講到一個歷史名人嘅故事?
香港嘅初小會唔會去講 everyone is equal?
我諗除咗書上面嘅知識之外，老師教嘅絕對多好多。
囝囝可以適應移民轉校，一部分係佢自己性格，但係記得好重要嘅係兩位家長俾咗好大嘅支持同包容俾小朋友。
我都爭扎好耐，究竟讀state school定私校，但參觀完學校真係私校贏左，小班教學同設施最吸引。個個都話來英國讀書係玩，但我仔一來返學，老師就好努力咁幫佢英文phonic catch up返進度，又俾曬教學材料我哋暑假keep住同佢練習。班主任會個別交俾下一年老師佢既進度，真係會因住學生既進度來教，呢樣真係小班先做到。
所以,小朋友身心 健康係最重要,呢樣我真係好羨慕西人個一套~~

So happy that Noah is more happier in England. I also feel the same. I learned everyone is equal in NY. As I remembered people in HK is often talking the status concept and value if you are in a good school, are you rich, are you #1. It makes your self esteem so low...but in NY, I find my value and everyone is precious. It doesn't matter if you are in a good school or not, you have value and you are smart.

如果負擔到的話，私校真係好啲嘅，對小朋友的關顧好些，到中學再考返grammar school都可以，其實小朋友一入了學適應了就好難再轉

My son is also mixed white and Chinese kid. He is in year 5 primary school now. It is good that he is so relax and no much homework in school so he can learn music instruments in the music school. He might have more homework in his music school than his primary school now. I like the fact that the UK primary school has no homework so he will have lots of time to focus on activities and learning other things outside school like music and sports.
That's why in recent 10 year's, there are a lot of achievement on music and sport from their young local players or musicians on the international platform, look at Adele, Sam Smith, Tom Daley, Andy Murray.
@@qafhkg China also the same. The China kids started at very young age to have intensive training in sports for the Olympics.

點解小學啲功課仲多過我一個year8嘅我一個禮拜都係得一份工課考完試呢2個月已經冇晒功課
Different education system , but I’ll always prefer the western one . Asian one is always very stressful , with never ending comparing on every single shit . And I think sometimes they will teach subject that you don’t need to learn . Like I heard a Taiwanese RUclipsr mentioned that kids have to learn only China History in their primary school which is pretty useless TBH . Cz that limit their view on the world history no offense .
Western education system usually also don’t encourage on memorizing since their exam question are more complex if that make sense .. and they believe that every kids have a different way in learning (visual, audio , practical or others)
Agree except for the maths, westerners are too poor in mastering basic math calculations
I learned plenty of western history after I arrived in US. I wish I learned more Chinese history when I was young in HK. Now when my husband and my kids ask me question about Chinese history, I felt kind of bad that I don't know as much as I am supposed to. I am the one tasked with teaching my family (husband, children, in -laws & grand children) Chinese culture and I usually get my answers from Dr. Google. Lol!
