Mark is by far one of my favorite builders and a very nice guy! It’s always great talking with him and seeing what he’s currently working on or planning to do next. Hope to see more!
Building greenery, water and landscape in general is always very parts and time intensive and more often than not rather expensive parts are required. This MOC is another good example that shows how much that effort is worth it.
The whole build is amazing. The details he managed to add are pure creativity. But the base of the castle is simply mind blowing. It's next level Lego building.
There are alot of stand off parts of this build. The fence around the garden is very good. The posts look round with the excellent use of the printed tile. The hidden passage away under the water fall, the very realistic looking gardens and the 1x1 studs in the wall to make it look broken up also look awesome.
Growing up in a city with a 12th century city wall around the old town center, I'd say the only disproportionalities in that castle was the main gate and arrow slit height, the crenelations are perfect, a defender is supposed to have full body cover behind them. Also, the rock ramp looks like a modified natural rock where the river would have gone around on the lower end of the ramp until the castle was built and the material removed for the moat used to fill and redirect the preexisting stream.
sizewise the crenelations etc are on point. just like the castle itself is not small or bad, its a normal sized castle missing the interior and keep. ramps or hybrid constructions for gate acess were used
Awesome build. Love it! Just a question though. My plant pieces (the one with 3 long leaves)ALWAYS dry out after some time and break apart. Any tips on how to avoid it?
The only Lego pieces I don't like are plants and grass. But here, it's the 1st time I see a smart use of those pieces. They look beautiful and quite realistic
I know this is from 3 years ago but absolutely love this scene. Love the stone work of the castle. It isn't too busy but at the same time it isn't too smooth either. Just right. Also love the work they did on the water. very nicely done. The only question I have with the whole thing is that they have a little river that drains on two sides with waterfalls. Where is the water coming from and how does it drain on both sides? That is the only unrealistic thing.
This is gorgeous.......now I just need like 25k to invest in bricks so I can make a mimic build. Edit: And making that water look so darned good and realistic had to take forever with all those various transparent color round notch studs on other various transparent colors...simply brilliantly done!
Wow there are some amazing LEGO builders in this world it’s so cool to see your videos about people’s Mocs and everyone’s creativity is amazing like the gold coins in the hill is really cool and the castle is really detailed and it looks amazing I could never build this because I’m a good moc builder but not a great one like the people that you show on this RUclips channel the landscaping is beautiful me and my friends love LEGO and I’m always on rock building and building the terrain and the videos with mountains and big rocks are fiery inspirational for the details in my rock and the water fall is amazing everything is amazing I really love the trees he put in the moc the greenery is good I have a lot of the leave pieces but they are in my moc I’m working on there are some beautiful colors in the trees and the trunks of the trees ate very detailed and thanks for the tips because they are very helpful for the future of my mocs
He did great on the Lego Master! Hopefully plan to attend at least one and my first Lego Convention 2023! Be cool to see all these creations in person and may e even run into Beyond the brick! Next goal would be 2024 to maybe build my own MOC to bring to display. ❤️ Lego Community ❤️ begun posting some simple build videos as just got back into Lego at 38 after 25 years 😀
Nature looks really credible, amazing. Just a little problem u notice after a moment... the 2 waterfalls are illogical, or the water must come from below the castle but that’s highly unlikely, so... 🤔 But concerning nature details, it’s true, it looks great 👍
I have a legitimate question, and I'm sure it's Lego 101... But where do you buy the pieces you would need to create something like this? All those stone pieces, all that greenery, etc. I would love to try some custom builds on a much much smaller scale obviously, but I don't know where to buy the pieces. Can someone help me?
Me builds a 1 grey baseplate hilly landscape with a small creek and places troops battling This dude builds a castle that looks kinda like a 3d model of a castle
Nice built. Awesome techniques and useful info on how to create things. I just noticed something that nobody was wearing masks at that time. Here in Japan its been mandatory since the pandemic. Nice Lego layout though🗾😅😅😷
I can’t believe the amazing things people can make with Lego, just great
Legendary Lego I know right! Whenever I try making something it looks like crap, but when I see what other people can do it’s really inspiring
TrentLegoStudios I agree my channel is really bad but I try to improve it because I see so many great Lego creations
Same! I’ve been trying to improve my sets for my stop motions!
Money. Probably cost 10k to build. Don’t mistake money for talent
Rip_Fallou
Man this whole build is just incredible... just wow.

Machicolations, head-high merlons, a wooden grate... this guy knows his history.
Definitely!
Its perfect!
It looks so beautiful! The water and the grass and the rocks and the castle, all of it is so amazing!
The whole build is amazing. The details he managed to add are pure creativity. But the base of the castle is simply mind blowing. It's next level Lego building.
The Castle itself is still one of the best looking I've seen
It's always nice to see realistic looking castle builds
Excellent build the best representation of a norman castle I have ever seen built in lego, truly awesome.
I am building a Medieval build right now, and this just blew me away!
I think It does give the castle a bigger feeling the way he made it, such a aesthetically pleasing vista
AMAZING! I'd love Lego to release custom sets like this.
I love the castle. It looks pretty rough and minimalistic, although it's massive. Just like a real stronghold.
Landscaping is top notch! Whole moc is really inspirational and amazing.
This is *literally* the coolest build I've ever seen
The crenalations looks spot on in size i'd say.
You are supposed to be able to hide behind them completely.
And the murder holes and such it's an actual castle.
Trees look amazing. Especially that pine tree.
Holy smokes! The whole MOC scenary is realy amazing! I especially love the water depth illusion created with different blue and transparent colours.
The water and rock work is by far the best I have seen
fantastic. Love the hidden caves, and the water effects. Also, those trees are something else man ... well done!

Always great to see you guys! :)
Keep up the amazing work!
Love the use of the classic castle mini figures. You usually see more modern ones used in these types of builds.
Bravo sir! This definitely gets automatic entry into that 'epic lego castles' video!
LEGOs aren't toys anymore, they're a form of art!
The landscape steals the show

now this the most accurate castle ive ever seen
Man gets a fastball thrown to him and bang homerun out of the park. Outstanding!!
Awesome Castle!!! Landscaping is Epic!
sizewise the crenelations etc are on point. just like the castle itself is not small or bad, its a normal sized castle missing the interior and keep.
ramps or hybrid constructions for gate acess were used
I just saw this on Instagram but the up close view is even more awe inspiring!
I love those little sheepies
WOW! Inspires me in my slow build of my MOC Medieval Village.
Awesome build. Love it! Just a question though. My plant pieces (the one with 3 long leaves)ALWAYS dry out after some time and break apart. Any tips on how to avoid it?
Wow that is a amazing build
The only Lego pieces I don't like are plants and grass. But here, it's the 1st time I see a smart use of those pieces. They look beautiful and quite realistic
That's awesome good work to the builder.

2:10 perfect music
Song of Durin (Complete Edition)
awesome man, great set up.
Perfect water work
Only one word: wonderful
This is beautiful, it looks like a painting. Also, is that the ark of the covenant in the forester hideout?
This is the most historically accurate lego castle Ive seen
All of it is brilliant but you barely even mentioned the water! Love the Foresters theme too, I have the tree base from the early nineties.
EPIC
This is gorgeous.......now I just need like 25k to invest in bricks so I can make a mimic build.
Edit: And making that water look so darned good and realistic had to take forever with all those various transparent color round notch studs on other various transparent colors...simply brilliantly done!
That's a big castle if you really think this is set realistically and historically
And props for doing your castle anatomy research, bravo!
2:07 Who else saw the Lost Ark?
guess we have to change the name to the Found Ark now
Only WONDERFUL! you built a dream! Only i hope i will built in the empty space some more buildings and walls!
His advice at the end is great - this is where he has ended up after over 9 years.
Would love something like this and my son would love to play with something like this as well since he likes knights and Robin Hood.
Great build. It's nice to see my sigfig head as a forestman in the cave :D

He did mentioned the new shields. Where and how to get them again? Ty :)
2:07 reminds me on the ark of the covernant from the first Indiana Jones movie.
2:07 - Is that the are from Raiders?
The gate is called portcullis

Love it
I wonder, is the inside hollow? I made a small ice scenery and build on top of the walls so it got hollow inside, but it made it somewhat flimsy.
Oh my god..if only i knew how to make somerthing like that. Shame I don't have enough pieces
This is what me and my brother used to think with our 2 castle sets lol
and honestly those 5 people who disliked why I mean just why
So cool
Hold on a second, is it the Lost Ark, down in the cavern???
I was looking for this in the comments!
@@alanaledia2588 :D I also checked the comments beforehand to see if anyone had already spotted it...

Most builders purchase pieces from BrickLink.com.
You should get Shadiversity to review it!
Did the Forestmen steal the Ark of the Covenant? Looks suspiciously like it, in the main cave :)
They stole the Ark of the Covenant! 😄
That water thooooo!!!!
Wow !!!
2:06 the Arc of the Covenant ?
4:02 😂
I think I spotted an arc of the covenant underground haha
Where do you buy all of that bricks?
Bricklink most likely.
credo che dal 12 al 14 giugno 2020 non si potranno svolgere manifestazioni di sorta, intanto giochiamo a casa :)
Wow!
Imagine how expensive this entire thing would be if it was a Lego set
Spettacolare
