HUGE THANKS to ExpressVPN for offering all Food Ranger viewers 3 months free and 49% off their yearly package using this link: ExpressVPN.com/Thefoodranger . Travelers need ExpressVPN to stay safe online and to unblock any site. I personally use it for Netflix, even while at home in Canada, but also while traveling to unblock content and episodes that are geoblocked, and I also use it for security, because airport wifi and hotel wifi is often very insecure, leaving my data vulnerable. By connecting to one of their servers around the world, it’s just like my computer or phone is in that location, and all data sent while connected to their VPN is secure, safe, and private from others to see, so I know that my data won’t be hacked or looked at by others. Thanks so much for watching, and we have tons more videos coming up for you! Please leave me a comment below letting me know what you thought about this episode, thanks so much!!!
The Food Ranger i love your videos but i have a suggestion for yaa , please no on keep repeating urself while commenting about any food or dish . Keep up onto good work of introducing world food for us .
We are DEFINITELY getting hit with a dislike bot right now guys. Not nice! Happened on the last vid too! Please leave a like so we can beat it out! It’s a bot for sure, it went from 99% likes to +1000 dislikes within 1 second. I’m not sure what to do, but I think the best way is for you to leave a like. Leave me a comment below. Thanks guys!!!
I don't understand why people made a big deal out of horse meat. Don't use your own cultures to judge others. Middle Eastern & Northern Chinese love lamb, many Indians don't eat beef, French eat rabbit, etc. Others may eat horses, frog & even snake. There why that's such a thing as "culture". Appreciate other country's culture. If you don't like what you see, turn it off, but don't criticize other people's culture. Food is definitely expensive in Japan. Can you imagine if you are a native there?
In France we eat rabbit and horse and frog too! Not everyone, but you can definetly find horse meat at the supermarket. At the imported section nowdays in big cities you can usually find uncommon imported products like Ostrich Meat or Kangaroo meat
OH yeah! I hope you enjoy this video of delicious street food in Tokyo! We loved our trip in Japan! Just got back to China and are now going on a tour of some of my favourite street food cities we’ve shot before, going deeper this time and finding more unique foods! First we are filming in Xi’an, then in Turpan on the Silk Road in western China, and then going to India for Ramadan! Starting with Hyderabad, another city we haven’t decided yet, and then Mumbai! I can’t wait to go shoot and create these videos for you! Make sure you’re following along behind the scenes here: instagram.com/thefoodranger and check out our merch here:shop.bonfire.com/THEFOODRANGER/ I hope you’re doing well! Please leave me a comment below, let me know what you thought of this video!
you really know the secret to Language learning: Speak from Day one. even if you make mistakes, even if you feel embarrassed. it is something most people don't do but is the secret to language learning! Keep creating Trever!
Maybe Trevor needs an extended scale that opens up when the price is over $50 a meal? He can then rate it 1-15 or something like that. On the street people are using basic ingredients but I think it's too easy to give fine dining restaurants 10/10 simply because the base ingredients are so good. The expectation is that a good restaurant should be able to score over 10 (the maximum street food threshold) and should be able to score points in the more elite restaurant class of 11,12,13,14,15.
Finally! I've been waiting 7 days for the next video 🤣 also I know you probably get asked this all the time.. So apologies in advance, but are you ever coming to Europe? Would love to see you try itlalian, Greek Turkish food etc. Keep up the awesome work 😃
Best Food Ranger Video. My most favorite video of Food Ranger. I love eating Oysters. Oysters my most favorite seafood. Butter, Lemon, Soy Sauce and Salt with Oysters. That was heaven to watch you eat the Oyster. I would rate the oyster experience at 10/10. Keep up with the great videos Trevor James.
"Konnichiwa Trevor and Ting! This is amazing and delicious street foods! The bbq meats, seafoods, and ramen noodles look so good, tasty and delicious! It is making me so hungry! Oh wow Ting English has gotten superb! 👍🍱🍣🍡🍜🍽🌶🐟🍋🍖🍲👍
2 bad about the dislikes. I have been a long time viewer, but just now subscribed. Love your work! This vid and the visit to Tsukiji are great! These and the mexican street food vids are my favs!! Keep going!!
damn, thanks for the insight I was actually wondering. That's sad because Japanese videos are among my favourite. They care about their food so much. Even the chef was trying to emphasize it, they have a national registry for each cow. They all have names and numbers and everything about their life is cataloged; when you eat Japanese wagyu you can get the info and bring it up online like a cow-facebook.
The Unagi Food Ranger ate was obviously the one imported from China. Chinese Unagi is HUGE and the texture is rubbery and chewy. And the taste is no good and oily. Real fresh Unagi is very soft and tasty. When you pick it up with chopsticks, it crumbles. That much soft and fluffy real Unagi is.
Thank you for including the name and locations of the places you ate. A lot of people don't on their videos. It was nice seeing how enthusiastic that wagyu chef is.
I NEVER leave comments but I appreciate your enthusiasm and having been to Japan I def relate to the incredible food scene in Japan. Keep it up brah Aloha!🤙
I got a question, how do you deal with others staring all the time? Do you get abit embarrassed? Iknow its very common, but how do you deal with it? My guess, its takes time just not to care
I was planning a nice teppanyaki style meal when I visit tokyo, but they made the yakiniku look so perfect. I might have to reconsider, that tongue looked amazing.
If you are going to visit Osaka, I recommend you one of the two Jinen Restaurants (same owner). Those restaurants served the best sushi to me ever. The style of making sushi is different in compare with Tokyo. Furthermore, it is affordable and simply perfect.
Japan is so freakin' expensive in comparison to China. I bet within 3 days you spent there more money than in 3 months in China, especially when it comes to food.
I am sure that price of soap is similar in both countries ;-) so it's not only the tidiness issue, and speaking of food quality - chinese or japanese tuna has exactly same amount of mercury in it, so it's not that different as well. :-) I really admire the Japan culture and their quality fondness but still, Japan is one of the most expensive countries in the world. For 10 days spent in Japan you can spend same money equivalent in south-eastern Asia for 100 days. That's a huge difference.
I don't understand why dislikes ? You are introducing there food what eat !!!! It's all about exploring the others culture and there food...Traver you doing a great job keep up the good work Thanks ...
Sorry to hear about the negativity. You don't deserve it. Great show! I cannot wait to visit Japan and Xian, China (from your previous show). How is it that your Chinese is so good? You do well with your Nihongo also. Japanese is such an easy language to learn; unlike Chinese, which is so difficult. Thank you for your shows. You are very young to be appreciating these fine foods which would normally scare the average American away. You are wise before your years.

He love his job that the secret =)

can i criticize people who eat dogs?
In France we eat rabbit and horse and frog too! Not everyone, but you can definetly find horse meat at the supermarket.

Rabbit eaten every where in world by the way I heard there is illigal butchering of horses in USA...
Yes dog eaters and cockroach eaters too

you really know the secret to Language learning: Speak from Day one. even if you make mistakes, even if you feel embarrassed. it is something most people don't do but is the secret to language learning!

ayaan amaan its the same as a iran..irak or afghanistan
Why so many thumbs down?? Trevor is such a wonderful character...how can you hate him!!
um?
Desperate Vegetarians
Bunts05 all them chinese
It is not streetfood
呵呵,一群脑残外国人踩了视频竟然还赖我们中国人,那些中国美食的视频踩的次数一点不比这个少,日中文化都是一家的,与政治无关,蠢货们赶紧把你们的有色眼镜摘了
The people serving the food are so polite and kind . We need more of that mindset in the world.
Agree
Food is expensive in Japan
which is justified by the stardard of living and food quality
Ibrahim Zamil $27 for a horse organ stew and a few skewers. It is definitely NOT cheap.
Ibrahim Zamil They have a strong economy..
That's just the going rate of toyko. Outside of toyko, it's more reasonable
not just food i think, everything in Japan quite expensive, :p
Don't mind the dislikes! Keep up the great videos, Food Ranger!
Arnold Wang why there are so many dislikes? I am confused...
Yeah why there is so many dislikes???
DARK ENERGY Because CHINA NUMBA ONE
DARK ENERGY A huge portion of his viewers are Chinese and they still have a deep hatred for Japan because of WW2
Yes, that explanation offers itself the most readily.
Unagi is a state of total awareness .
Dr ross geller
you mean "Zanshin"
Japan is my dream country ❤❤
Would love to see more of Japanese series. Lots of love💙💙 😊😊
love Paris
#WeabooPower

nevaeh _96 🤣
HAHAHAHA
watching this comment on a diet.
Don't worry about the dislike bot. We'll help you with like button.
We always enjoy watching your video.
Any proof that the dislikers are bots ?
There's no such thing as a dislike bot
Luís Borges theres tons of dislike bots, in the gaming community people deal with them all the time, educate yourself first please.
Jzwiz why do you assume its "bots" instead of actual people disliking the video?
Is people disliking the video such a rare event?
where are they coming from?
I think 10 was not sufficient for you to rate that beef feast.
Evolution : Machine to Man yeah
DPR VIDEOS yeah
That's why it described out of the ten

Robert nah that would be ridiculous. The most common standard scales are 10/10 or 100/100.
Trevor, your Japan series are a torture, I'm drooling! 🤤
FOOD RANGER ARMY!!!! Where are you?!?!?!
Willis 1945 here here!

That beef feast was such a joy to watch. The chef is truly a master of his trade. Absolutely amazing.

Best Food Ranger Video. My most favorite video of Food Ranger. I love eating Oysters. Oysters my most favorite seafood. Butter, Lemon, Soy Sauce and Salt with Oysters.
Keep on Trevor , it’s such a pleasure to watch you take me the food tour everywhere, thank you !
2 bad about the dislikes. I have been a long time viewer, but just now subscribed. Love your work! This vid and the visit to Tsukiji are great! These and the mexican street food vids are my favs!! Keep going!!
A decent portion of trevor's viewerbase is chinese. They haven't forgiven japan for WW2 which is why his videos about japan are being dislike-bombed.
damn, thanks for the insight I was actually wondering.
Trevor's comment below says it's a dislike bot. You should not just say that when you do not really know the reason. It's misleading.
Jamie Williamson Ww2! Chinese and Koreans
Haruka ino
It's sad to see RUclips is being taken over by those pathetic fools.
If you liked that unagi (many would say unagi should not be chewy) I can intro a completely different more traditional style to you next time
The Unagi Food Ranger ate was obviously the one imported from China. Chinese Unagi is HUGE and the texture is rubbery and chewy. And the taste is no good and oily. Real fresh Unagi is very soft and tasty. When you pick it up with chopsticks, it crumbles. That much soft and fluffy real Unagi is.
Not sure if it's from China, but Japanese Unagi should be soft, fluffy and never chewy.
Yea, maybe try that michelin starred one
AWESOME video!! i like the way how you describe the food with so much of positive vibes in your videos! Keep it up guys :D
I don't think Wagyu beef can be classified as street food, for it's extremely rare and expensive.
Amazing food tour once again!! Keep up the great work :)
Thanks!!!!
Awesome video that Wagu looks delicious!
I love Japan I want eat all this food!!!!!!
awesome Japaneses street food, looks delicious
Village Food Life yes
Never seen anyone who can be just as amazed like you, by watching meat getting marinated " woaaaaah" :)
Life changing because of the money spent. It will change your life by becoming poor :)
It's interesting, how they eat the cow tongue in parts. In mexico we eat it chop in pieces and (voilà) taco de lengua.
Thank you for including the name and locations of the places you ate. A lot of people don't on their videos. It was nice seeing how enthusiastic that wagyu chef is.
Already bookmarked to try the same wagyu restaurant for my upcoming trip! Can’t wait! Everything looked insanely good.
allmyjm hope you have a wonderful trip..
Cheers
Suh!! Dude thanks! 😊

That moment when you realize $1 no longer had value unlike India and Pakistan.

Trevor, this video is excellent and much fun. The Japanese are amazing artists and craftsmen!
Idk if you are doing sweets but omg I have such a sweet tooth and I would love recommendations of Japanese desserts/snacks! 😍 Love your content btw!
Wow! Everything looked great!
I drooled all over the Wagyu reactions.
I literally got hungry !
Again
That's why you watch these while eating
I got a question, how do you deal with others staring all the time? Do you get abit embarrassed? Iknow its very common, but how do you deal with it? My guess, its takes time just not to care
Yeah I think mostly I don't care :)

Oh God, my mouth watering. Definitely should try and save the money, cos its expensive adventure 😂😂😂

I was planning a nice teppanyaki style meal when I visit tokyo, but they made the yakiniku look so perfect. I might have to reconsider, that tongue looked amazing.
it's so good,trust me ;D
If you are going to visit Osaka, I recommend you one of the two Jinen Restaurants (same owner). Those restaurants served the best sushi to me ever. The style of making sushi is different in compare with Tokyo. Furthermore, it is affordable and simply perfect.
Prinz Eisenherz thanks!
That chef makes a sandwich look professional
Don't worry, this dislike bot has nothing on us! #TeamFoodRanger

Now tell us more about the difference in quality. Travel a bit kid. Might learn something.
BEERCOASTERSpl You know that he went to more remote places in China. If he go to the center area ,the price of the food is also not cheap.
BEERCOASTERSpl
Thats because south east asean countries are shitholes with gdp per capita 10X less than Japan
I don't understand why dislikes ? You are introducing there food what eat !!!! It's all about exploring the others culture and there food...Traver you doing a great job keep up the good work Thanks ...
14:43 that concentration in making 😅
You should see if you can catch up with Satoshi and Shinichi from Tabi Eats. They could show you some amazing things!
I love your videos. Can you make a compilation of all your rated 10 food taste. Thanks!
At wangyu beef, he gave 10/10 for all of it
Sorry to hear about the negativity. You don't deserve it. Great show! I cannot wait to visit Japan and Xian, China (from your previous show). How is it that your Chinese is so good? I like how Every time someone is explaining a food to him he's like "okay okay...let's get cooking so I can eat it !"
Who is disliking this? All the horse people?
Now I feel hungry. Perfect👍
Awesome!!!
All of his wow's made me go crazy
I'm quite sure UNAGI is a mindset for being present, not food. :)
