Tropical Storm Pilar stalls off El Salvador - November 1, 2023

- Tropical Storm Watches are still in place for El Salvador, Honduras, and Nicaragua, as Tropical Storm Pilar turns around and starts to move away from land. The storm is expected to steadily increase in speed as it moves westwards, and could weaken somewhat for a few days before having a chance of strengthening again as it moves well out to sea.
Meanwhile, in the Atlantic, an area of interest in the central Caribbean could become a moderate tropical storm as it heads for Central America. Landfall is likely this weekend in Nicaragua or Honduras, where rainfall from both storms together could total up to 1000mm.
A tropical disturbance is currently visiting the Philippines, and heavy rain across northern Luzon could cause localised flooding.
Another area of interest could develop well to the east of Guam, and could track towards the Mariana Islands as a weak tropical storm next week

Im honestly Surprised weve made it to Pilar this year not to mention the Atlantic
Still got November for the list to end
True
I’m suprized we made it to Tammy in the AHC
@@the_raining_diamond cool
Will the Caribbean invest actually form
Because it went from high chance to just medium chance by NHC
Dude wait for the premiere to start
@@DACARBOSS.Yea so models apparently trending down for its formation
If there is wind shear in the area then it's not happening, Invest 96L near the bahamas had 70% of forming in 2 days by nhc and wind shear killed it.
@@ModricLM10 ya rip
Possible storms: Vince, Ramon & Jelawat
Vince probably might not form anymore for now or not
In the Philippines Northeast Moonson "Amihan" started few day or weeks I think
the Atlantic is so close to the end of the list.
nice
that WPAC storm were watching, its movement reminds me of nalgae except that its not that powerful (from the silly range)
Can you talk about ciaran ?
It's not a tropical storm
It's still a named Storm and it's Going to hit The UK
So
Ughhhh Pilar? I'M DEL PILAR
Fyi, "Pilar" should be pronounced as Pee-LARRRR with the accent on A and with rolling R since it's a spanish name
I don't know why, but I am getting Eta/Iota vibes from 97L... I hope that 97L doesn't explode in intensity near Nicaragua like Eta and Iota....
😂😂😂😂
Impossible
@@LC_Fans-Sandra-Cires-Art And Eta was also underestimated by many models and people and what happened? Eta exploded into a 150 mph Cat 4 off the coast of Nicaragua... And mind you, he was only a 80 mph Cat 1 near Nicaragua, when he began his explosive intensification...
@@LC_Fans-Sandra-Cires-Art And don't you remember Hurricane Iota... Just as the shear relaxed, Iota exploded from a 90 mph Cat 1 to 160 mph Cat 5 in 18 hours... So yup, maybe these stats will help you realise the unpredictability of mother nature...
@@LC_Fans-Sandra-Cires-Art So I am not gonna underestimate 97L like you...
