    Oh my gosh! I'm SO excited to make this for my grandma! She makes everyone she knows knitted washcloths and baby blanket quilts all the time. I'd love to give her something back for all the love she's shown me and I think this one is it. Thank you!

    If you want to loosen an edge that is being worked on an angle like that during construction (to avoid blocking later), you can add a chain at the beginning/end of rows at regular intervals as needed. This will help it lay flat on its own.

    Thank you soooo much for the pattern, I made the shawl with leftover yarn very pleased with the way it turned out. i wanted to make a cowl with the same pattern, do I just omit the 2 x yo at the beginning and the end of the row. so I don't increase by 4?

  • @BruneMeo
    @BruneMeo 2 года назад

    Hi ! Nice tutorial, I'm looking for Christmas ideas for my mother ! I can see that the projet will fan a lot and you suggest blocking with steam, as you are working with acrylic. What do you suggest in case of mixed yarns, like acrylic and wool ? Just the wet blocking method ? Steam (but what about wool ?) ? Skip projet and find just acrylic yarns ? Thanks for your advice !

    • @TLYarnCrafts
      @TLYarnCrafts  2 года назад

      Hi - you can steam block wool as well.

    I love your pattern and tutorial. Thank you. To make it in a rectangle, do I just leave out the YO's at the beginning and end. I think you said there is an increase of 4 st per row, so eliminate 2 YO each side? Would I have to chain an odd or even number? Hopefully I can figure it out. Thanks again!

    Once you block, do you have to do it again after you wash it?

  • @DebWHNP

    The right side was straight and the left has a slight curve. Is that intentional or should I block it into a true triangle?

    So I guess this pattern isn't free anymore? Every link I click on the "free pattern" wants to charge me $7.50. I understand people should be paid for the work creating patterns but I'm BRAND new to this. Was hoping to find something free to try to see if I even get the hang of it.
