You're such a kind, thoughtful, hardworking guy surviving the UK monsoon season ! 😁 Thanks for explaining about the whirl-away settings. I wondered if that's what you did. Great job ! Turned out very nice !
@@PrestigeExternalCleaning was in landscaping most of my life ❤️ that’s just one of the reasons I love your channel , watching all those weeds go bye bye ! Oh so very satisfying 😂 A couple of slow mo’s are definitely cool ! People get irritated at the smallest things 🤷🏼♀️ Hope you get a break in all that rain to catch up !
Getting that full taproot out is the MOST satisfying part! It's frustrating to hear the root break when you weed. But the sound plus that full taproot is chef's kiss, lol.
Well we have just been given the news off the telly that we're getting warmer weather but consistent rain for the next 3 months 😒😅 You can't win!! 💯better!!
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say, I believe you had fun doing this one! I enjoyed watching and also decided it was time to clean my drive way also! Well give another week to my knee replacement recovery and I am gonna get out and add that to my accomplishments this spring/summer of 2024! Looks so pretty when you have it done! Thanks for sharing!
England and Seattle Washington are just alike. Rain is the daylie forecast and sunny days are unusual. I'm not surprised you're overbooked just to keep mold and mildew down to and acceptable level. You work hard and deserve to have a short day for once.
The weeds and the sludge were the most unique kind of "fanservice" I have ever seen 😂 Seriously, what are you doing, I'm both amused and confused 😅 Huge shoutout to our mate Paul! Thanks for cooperating so nicely with Nick on the resanding ❤
😆 thought i'd try something new, the weeds thing went down quite well, people weren't too keen on the slop slow mo though 😆. Yep, Paul really helped me out, what a top bloke 🥰
You are absolutely right about the sound of the many tiny weed roots giving up the ghost and snapping loose. Now that's an absolute possibility for ASMR videos. Would watch!
Great result on a fairly grotty driveway, lovely job buddy! Drives that bad I've always found my FSC doesn't give the desired results so end up just going straight in with turbo nozzle 😢 The sound of those weeds coming out immediately reminded me of the sound/feeling of a tooth being pulled last time I went to the dentist - think you've scarred me for life now mate! 😂😂😂
Paul picked the best person for this job!! Once again, a spectacular job Nick. Yes I do so love your explanations for different situations. Loved this video! All the best to you and yours Nick , be well young man! God bless you (the sneeze) 😊 Super big hugs from Texas to you!
@PrestigeExternalCleaning Oh my dear boy, no apologies necessary! You have a lot on your plate! Thank you for the fantastic videos and your valuable time. You are so appreciated Nick! We love you here in Texas!!
Was fun hearing you plot out how to work on this job, to your satisfaction. Pulling weeds actually was viable, there are days that removing weeds in irritating places gives great satisfaction. That was a good discussion on how high or low to have the spinner jets. A virtue to all the rain, the weeds are pulling pretty well. (Yes, a crabapple. There are a variety of types. Someone else voted for a type of large rose hip. ) Enjoying watching as you did the areas and seeing them improve. You were watching for the bare wood when you sprayed hypo, worked on scrubbing the worst black spot on the walls with a broom etc. and the whole place keeps getting prettier. Good looking property/garden, with the paving/walls now matching. Best wishes to Paul in working on his own power washing project. Excellent Before and After contrast photos.
I think you really enjoyed this job hahaha. Thanks for passing on the thrill. Nothing better than getting all the roots when pulling a weed. Looks great 👍🏻
Enjoyed this transformation! The concrete base along the fence looks especially good with all the green gone. Loved the slo mo disc action. Looked like a flying tornado 👍 Slo mo sludge however was undeniably less appealing. 🥴 😁
Is the weed pulling sound satisfying? YESSSSSSSS! Great job, as always. So nice of Paul to help out with the sanding so you don't have to make a second trip!
Guess it was a good thing that it was raining, makes it easier to slowly pull up those weeds, roots and all. You always go above and beyond, Nick. This job was no exception, hope Paul was pleased. Great job. Now, get yourself something for that cold....Vick's Vapor Rub works great. Have a fantastic week!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I actually always dreaded that cracking sound when pulling dandelions in my grandma's garden, because that meant the root had broken, and the dang thing'd grow back from the bit of taproot that I had lost in the soil. _Super_ satisfying when I could get the whole dang thing, though. It's honestly staggering what you've done to this drive; it straight-up doesn't look like the same property any more!
Yes, very satisfying the sound of weeds being pulled up. Those crab apples are rosehips. I used to make rosehip wine, ready for washing down the Christmas turkey dinner. Great job Nick.
Came out really sharp! Another great job. I have to agree about the sound of weeding, that last pull. That is one good thing about the rain, makes weeding easier. Stay safe...and dry. 😊
Looks fantastic! Great job as always. Even the wall looks massively better. Yes, the rain is super frustrating - just when you think it’s starting to dry out it literally tops down again and there are lakes everywhere!! Hopefully soon it will improve. Have a great week 😊
Another "Prestige" job well done! This weather is grinding everyone's gears at the moment but don't let it get you down mate, look on the bright side, at least you don't do resin or slab 😂
Fantastic job! Very satisfying to see those weeds pulled out in slo-mo as well. I love it when the entire roots pulls out instead of breaking off...I'm curious as to why you fill up the yellow bin...I've seen others power washing (on RUclips) with one and without one. Does it give you more water to work with compared to what comes out of the houses hose? Perhaps you could mention it in a future video...Thanks!!
Hi Julia, the bin is used as water storage. The machines most of us guys use who do this for a living are too powerful to be attached directly to a tap the water flow can't keep up with the pump, so we either use a bin, barrel or some guys have a tank on their van, that we fill up before we start, then the pressure washer sucks it out of the bin/tank 👍
Wow that definitely looked almost new by the time you finished with it 😊 nice weeding too and yes very satisfying 😂 Walls looked so much better too. Yeah the rain hmm I think we may need to build an Ark because it doesn't flipping stop 😢 We have had a D&V bug ripping it's way through our house, started with me and also me deciding to pass out doing a rather Inelegant face plant on the way down 😂😂😂 kids next door looked at me in horror the next time they saw me 🤣🤣🤣 Anyway have a good week love (no hugs in case bug is still lingering 😂) from a very wet and soggy oop Norf 😂😂
Hey Polgara, so sorry to hear you've been unwell, passing out..I hope you didn't hurt yourself, and I hope you're on the mend by now. I'll still give you hugs even if you are ill 😁 ❤️
@@PrestigeExternalCleaning umm I kinda made a mess of my nose and forehead but nothing broken just a bit bloody 🤣🤣 hence next doors kids looking at me in horror 🤣 bug has scarpered to pastures new thankfully and thank you for the hug 🤗
Another impeccable job Nick, plus going the extra mile, weeding and digging over the strip along the wall, a nice touch 👍P.S. could Paul try a white vinegar treatment on that calcite, maybe an absorbent rag covering it for a while soaked in it ?
Gonna need to get you a boat soon to get to these jobs😎 stunning transformation me young china. So relaxing to watch but I do have an appreciation for the hard graft.
5:17 you are right it looks like hard water limescale, but it could also be a bit of soap scum as well as my drain has the exact same stuff all over it. I’ve cleaned it off successfully before in the past but personally it’d be better to have some kerbs around it to stop it splashing over.
Looks good! I wonder if some calcium/lime cleaner (here in the states we have a product called CLR--(Calcium, Lime and Rust) and another called Lime Away that works very well on that type of thing around that drain. Anyway, jobs done so on to the next!
Another grand job, appreciate your chatter and explanations of your work. What makes you stand out in your profession is the value added un charged work. The garden and front wall was a wonderful gesture. Cheers from Oz.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼✔️✔️🇦🇺🇦🇺🦘🦘🦘🦘
Nice video. Very good job. I hope it dries up soon. It’s a nightmare. Can I ask what nozzles you run in your twin lance? I’m thinking of getting one. I was thinking a 15 or 25 & a 60?
Do you ok have a helper ,? Some one, on the ground, doing clean up, would be a big help to your back and supplies etc could be stored in van for you to just drive home, very strenous for you doing it all, enjoy the roof videos
Hi Nick I recently cleaned my sisters patio and concrete area and the concrete area does not get much sunlight and keeps going green is there anything I can put on it to stop it going green many thanks Dave
Unfortunately there's nothing you can put on it to stop it coming back eventually. An application of hypo or bio every six months should keep it well under control though. The cheapest thing would be pour household bleach on it by watering can every few months 👍. The cheap watery stuff you get from Tescos, 2 litres for a quid 👍
@@PrestigeExternalCleaning Cheers Nick I have some hypo left when I did my patios so will give that a go as only used patio cleaner on hers from Jennychem which never cleaned the black spot off but I am sure the hypo will hopefully shift it but I have to be careful as she has a cat and dog so need to really rinse it down well I wish I had purchased the 20L of hypo and not the 5L now would have been more cost affective keep up the videos really enjoy watching the transformations you do
very nice. no black. your such a wiz, fast working. at least you don't have weather like in Russia and China, it is flooding. poor people having their houses up to the roof with water. and me in the US is dry. waiting for 100 deg weather. stop waffling and just say "job well done".
It's a good idea, but CLR is mainly lactic acid, which is weaker that brick acid (hydochloric) so probably would have much effect, but thanks for the suggestion ❤️
