A Taste of Winwick, Northamptonshire

Join me as I visit the beautiful little village and church of Winwick, Northamptonshire. Winwick is part of a united benefice along with Long Buckby, Watford and West Haddon of which each parish retains its own church building. I do hope to visit all of them while I am staying in this area.

It looks so lovely there. I could sit peacefully in that church for hours...but lets face it, as soon as I sat down someone would sit behind me playing music on their phone!

I know exactly what you mean, but luckily for me I was in that church for hours and no one but a neighbour to the church dropped in and he only dropped in to give me a gift, a recipe / history book left over from the last village fete Winwick held back in 2002

@@oddhauntsfilms It's like another world. I like sitting in the crypt at the cathedral when I visit. Sounds strange, but its so quiet, lovely and cool because of the stonework and some of the tombs are unreadable due to the ages, others written in Latin. It's nice to just have total peace sometimes.

I'm saying Golden Wonder: they're proper heritage crisps. Walkers have no roots.

They’ve surely been frying fatty foods since the fourteenth century, made from lard and batter though, but they were no doubt sold and promoted by a Gary Lineker type SERF
