The PROCESS of SUPPOSEDLY christianising the EMPIRE led to the legal end of PAGANISM (whose TAX money was used for the Christian Catholic Movement) and ANY other FORM of Christianity other than the NICENE CREED TYPE...
The Emperor of 381 CE who outlawed paganism and other forms of christianity was of course Theodosius who were even more FANATIC...
Today we have Nicene Creed Christianity (Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant) that actually have very little in common with what christianity was in the first three centuries...
Modern Christianity was established by using PERSECUTION, WARFARE and GENOCIDE...
And it started off as being Catholic only. Any other form of Christianity like ARIANISM (of which Eusebius an important figure was part) were persecuted into extinction after 381 CE.
The Old Egyptian Religion was also ended by CATHOLICISM in the 4th Century...
Perhaps the ANCIENTS did not PERSECUTE Christians for no reason before 313 CE (the Edict of Milan when ALL forms of Christianity were declared legal -- not just the NICENE CREED that was later to become catholicism, orthodoxy and protestantism...
