Practice, practice and practice :) I've started learning the gurdy half a year ago, and got loads of tips through the Hurdy Gurdy Facebook community, which really helped. The only difficult parts of a gurdy is in maintaining it, and gaining independence in your left hand to be able to crank the rhythm. Otherwise, the keyboard is very intuitive and easy to play :)
