I love Pearl snare drums. I have the premium beaded brass 6.5x14 patina finish. Use it all the time. Using it in event tonight. It's my go to snare live. Absolutely love the Pearl throw off, I've had the snare about 2-3 years now and haven't once had to mess with it, stays perfect! Pearl got it right with the throw-off/tension. Other than that I love how DW has the three areas to change the wire sound from tight, medium to lose. Would love to see pearl do another design with that mechanism. But KEEP what they have now too! It's perfect! Rock on, DC
