7 Seasons in and people on the show are perplexed that someone did it for fame? Breaking News - They all do. Is potentially finding love part of it? Sure, but LIB is an experience and a major part of that is being on TV.
I get what you guys are saying about Nick and Vanessa. But the way Vanessa seems to only hold certain men extra accountable and never the women it appears very personal. She keeps her foot on their necks and I think thats all her. They leave the married couples alone like Lydia was never questioned for her behaviour, and now Tyler was glossed over. Marissa cares so much about authenticity that she will attack the person who was attacked all season. I think the viewers had enough of seeing Nick get kicked over and over that we didnt need to see him be held accountable it was Hannahs turn to be held accountable and instead of calling it like it is they renamed it 'direct'.
As far as liking the hate comments on Hannahs social media... ummm why is hannah making HATE VIDEOS making fun of nick??? Theres so much that nick couldve brought up but he remained more calm than most men would. Makes me wish Tim was Hannahs ex lol
Hannah was out of control.. Marissa's anger was misdirected and feel so bad for Taylor because DC is not a compromise for California. Unfortunately I don't think they will last. Ashley was clearly trying to make everything make sense but unfortunately no matter how she spins it Tyler lied in the pods and didn't tell her the truth she already loved him
You’re being delusional. If you can’t see thru Nick’s behavior, that’s on you. There are now multiple witnesses to him saying negative things about Hannah’s looks.
"I hope the kids are happy". When the person you call dad is no longer around there is a deep longing that happens underneath the laughter, the play, the fun that you may not necessarily see. He denied them knowing what he looks like and said it was to protect them and the mothers. He called them those kids and that family to separate himself from the guilt. When you deny your children thats not protection. Ashley said she spoke to his friends and family and that was enough for her but she should have spoke to the childrens' mother. Tylers friends and family hid his secrets for his ex fiance and played in her face at the gender reveal so its' not surprising.
Watching Hannah bully Nick the whole season AND the way she doubled down during the reunion gave me anxiety. It was so uncomfortable. They should’ve put a trigger warning ⚠️
Marissa’s mom - crown her. Her appearance was one of the most useful from her honest thoughts on Ramses to Hannah. I bet she would have choice words for Tyler…
I really like how you guys spoke about the layers to friendship in the reality tv world. Its a topic I always thought about and would love to hear that explored in an episode one day maybe having a couple of other people from different reality shows to talk about it. Someone from selling sunset and someone from a housewives franchise and maybe a producer too. You have the storyline, you have the way you actually feel vs the awareness of the camera ie caring about your edit, you have the relationship off screen, the 4th wall with producers, producers having their own storyline agenda, posting your opinions on social media when episodes air and how that may affect relationships off screen, and also behind the scenes coordinating storylines, and how someone may be your friend for the camera but fall off once the cameras are gone, and then forgiving betrayals for the sake of wanting peace with your coworkers while having to film. ITS FASCINATING!!!
Tim and Alex are very curious to me. They seem to be upset for exact opposite reasons: Tim is upset with Alex for being completely exhausted and lackluster with his parents. Alex is upset with Tim being so serious and amazing with her parents yet having concealed doubts. They could have worked, but the genuine love for one another was not there. Love has to be there for such opposites like these two to make allowances and give grace to each other. Tim talks about “you couldn’t just let me love you” but his understanding of love will need to change drastically before getting into another serious relationship.
And Hannah really can’t use that excuse about the diary as she read that diary at the end when they were broken up where she was horrible to him the whole show before she even knew about the diary so it’s a bad excuse.
The guy who lied about having 3 kids, left them, called them “sperm babies” who didn’t know what he looked like on TV and thereby exposed them and all this trauma to the world. He’s the worst. But Hannah and Sarah Ann are definitely on the list
Laura, HELLO. She’s in the same category as Hannah, they behave awfully with their partners but afterwards play the victim card and gaslight us all. Also Ramses is one shitty piece of guy 🥴
I honestly do not understand for the life of me how someone as mature, compassionate and down-to-earth as Katie is friends with Hannah! Katie, if you're reading this, blink twice if you need us to free you. Also, Nick is probably liking mean comments about her online because victims of (emotional and verbal) abuse feel seen and validated through content and comments like these. I hated this reunion with all my soul because no one cared to apologize to Nick or validate his feelings. The guy was emotionally beaten and battered for the world to see and somehow Hannah and Marissa dragged him because he called her a grenade and wrote something private in his diaries. Nothing excuses abuse! Nothing should! Regardless who the victim is! And the worst thing is that Hannah will go on with her life and get away with more abuse in her future, because I don't know about you, but I did not get the impression that any of it suck in her head.
I don't know if it's been said yet, pay attention to the reactions of Hannah's parents, especially her mom. They know who she is and how she treats people. They also know that as hard as they may try, she chooses to ignore their advice on how to treat people.
I’m not surprised that this was the least watched season. I was physically disgusted so many times during the show. I didn’t know if I could keep watching or not.
I think there are also too many 'hot mess' TV shows - I know I'm sappy, but I like to root for love. This season I really didn't like a lot of the people... and then we found out more about them, and so many of them were WORSE. A lot of us have dated a Tim, a Ramses, a Stephen - they suck. I'd rather root for a Boden, or a Katie, then see these dumpster men hurt people in real time. And Hannah - girl is absolutely awful (and I'm not a huge Nick fan by any means, but she was horrendous)
Small correction for the Diwali story.. the youngest wife fights in battles alongside the king. She saves his life. He grants her one wish. Which she uses when Ram is about to get crowned
I want to know why no one questioned Stephens claim about being DRUNK at the sleep test. That was what really proved he was lying about a lot more than he let on, he jumped straight to the “I was drunk” excuse, as most men do, before he realised that doesn’t line up with the terms of a sleep test. He would’ve been turned away from a doctors office…
So glad you said narcissistic tendencies bc that’s exactly how I viewed her bringing up either irrelevant or trivial stuff that does not excuse her behavior. She has to maintain control by saying “Sorry, but at least I was right about the vibe you were giving me.” I have been on the receiving end where all you want in the world is an apology, but Hannah has to one-up or score a moral victory.
This reunion sucked. The best thing about S6 reunion was the surprise factor where they actually research what contestants were up to, and exposed the text messages for example. This season, looked like they were trying to hide and cooperate with the lies that were said on the show, regarding the Taylor situation. We wanted to see the baby momma’s version, instead we got more lies. Taylor was a father figure to the children until the show, 2 of them were even made the traditional way … no one addressed that. He called them “those children” like they were made by a random and not by him, bro. Hanna literally being obnoxious and calling it “being a (bad) bitch” keeping to try and manipulate the narrative and trying to make Nick the villain , when even admitting she had read his notebook with her friends without him knowing, like … sis u r the worst. And all of the latest cast members stories we absolutely do not care to make it seem like the experiment works , seemed desperate to me, but ok. Lastly, we wanted to see more of Tim and Alex discussion , they should have directed that better instead of shutting it down… learn to make questions we actually want to hear , and not conduct a scripted narrative with cringe jokes and stupid subjects focusing on the wrong people, like, please.
That wasn’t it for me I think the best surprise was that just how close Leo and Brittany are still even though they didn’t find love with each other, they found something better a really adorable friendship.
Taylor and Ashley were very close during filming when you look back at different scenes. They even said they were close and sticking together. I wonder what Taylor knows about the situation or if Ashley spoke to her about Tyler? I’m surprised they didn’t ask Taylor her thoughts at the reunion.
Ashley said in a Netflix podcast that Taylor is her confidant because of being in the same situation with the marriage nda and it sounds like Taylor is completely looped in and bounces ideas off of her… it’s giving co-conspirator in the lies, manipulation and abandonment
Hannah weaponized and deflects with the word “direct” which reflects poorly on the women who are in positions of authority in the work force and are labeled as bitches for being actually direct and not mean. I speak as a female who was called a bitch for being direct for doing my job as a supervisor and talking to a staff member for consistently arriving late or not showing up to work without giving a heads up.
I’m only in the first 13 minutes of the video, y’all haven’t even started talking about LIB, and I am enjoying this so much and lol’ing. 😂 you guys are sooo funnyyyy.
For Hannah, Directness or Honesty without Kindness and Understanding = Cruelty So you need to focus on being kinder, more understanding, patience… not just the level of ur “directness”
the thing that pissed me off with Marissa is that she said she defended that one statement about Hannah's looks - which "she knew firsthand" but like, she didn't know it firsthand. She knew it second or thirdhand. Nick told Stephen who told Monica who told her ...or Ramses who then told her ...and those two dudes are liars. So much side eye.
Loved the Diwali story ❤ You two have grown on me so much... I'm going through a lonely time in my life, but listening to you two feels like the talks I had with my old friends. You earned a new subscriber 😊
Steven is such an actor, he was purely acting for the crowd. He was literally talking to the crowd during his conversation with Nick and Vanessa. He needs to get over himself.
I think Nick is indeed very immature, if you look at that note. He wanted to be in his best physical shape in TWO WEEKS (?). Wanted to be the most famous person on LIB is super delulu, he is not the character for that. Starting in his real estate carrier and having a goal of 2 sells are reasonable, but his statement of himself in the first interviews was that he is ready for a marriage financially. He probably said he doesn`t like Hannah`s appearance, as she said she is a cheerleader type girl. He also lied about his appearance as well and she was allowed to state over and over how he is shorter, etc. All in all it feels like he doesn`t know himself yet. And while all of these can be true, these are still not enough reason for Hannah to be a complete B and then cry out how the internet is rude to her. Nick has the potential to grow but Hannah refused to even apologize for anything she did, no self-awarenes whatsoever
I am genuinely disgusted by Ashley. A real woman, first of all, wouldn’t date a deadbeat, BUT if they had to, they would help foster a relationship with his kids. Ashley sounding off on a topic she is biased towards is becoming evil.
I didn't find this reunion lackluster at all. It was so confrontational that I had to pause multiple times to catch my breath. I don't understand what people want!
Wow, I Love the history of Diwali. That was so interesting. My husband and I went to a friend's house last year during Diwali and what an amazing celebration they had. It was fun and they included us in their celebration. They were dressed elegantly and the houses on the streets were lit up with lights and at a certain time everyone in the neighborhood was lighting up fireworks and having a great time. It was so fun to be a part of and I learned so much. So thank you Deepti for a little history behind it. And Happy Diwali to you as well!
Ramses noted Marissa’s energy early on, and he should have checked in with himself to see if he could deal with it long term. It’s rude and mean to say he would feel overwhelmed and drained everyday and drag on their relationship until the day before.
There’s this pattern where Hannah seems to look for things about Nick to embarrass him on screen. It felt like she may have wanted to make him look bad because she didn’t want to be embarrassed. It’s so wrong and I do agree that she shows lots of narcissistic tendencies, no self awareness in any sense honestly.
Loved the Diwali Story. Your friendship is so cute. You're both so different but I think that's what makes it work, the fact that you hold space for each other to be different is so admirable.
Hannah is NOT “direct”, Hannah is MEAN and a bully. She is gaslighting the hell out of Nick and the viewers trying to say how she’s “just so direct” so “honest” like her saying how “fun” she is. Or “mature”. Hannah is awful.

I’m so glad Deepti told the story of Diwali I was wondering why it sounded familiar and I realized it’s bc I’ve seen A Little Princess a trillion times and they tell part of that story in the movie
I’m sorry guys but that has to be the worst reunion, it was a shit show. None of the issues were addressed and the way they ganged up on Nick was disgusting and I’m not a fan of Nick but he didn’t deserve that from Hannah and Marissa and nearly all of the cast. In fact I would say the reunion absolutely met my expectation and didn’t disappoint in being disappointing and for me Netflix is sending the message that women on the show can be abusive to a man and feed them badly and get a free pass and for me the only saving Grace was Britney and Leo and loved their friendship which in my opinion is proof that not all break ups have to be acrimonious and that exes can still be friends. That is the hot take. I’m just being direct.
Tim talking in circles? I didn't see that . . . I see that he definitely cleared his side by his explanation. Alex I feel the one is talking in circles and not making sense.
Tim talks a lot and says nothing of substance, but he fully believes that his character puddle is a deep ocean. He wants a fictional woman, who will never make a mistake. Alex isn't perfect, but Tim has a nasty controlling streak
I think we missed the part where Marissa mentioned how she was still sleeping with Ramses. I truly believe that’s why she didn’t go at him. She also mentioned how she wanted everyone to take accountability but Hannah didn’t atm. If they did so privately (which I doubt) that don’t count. Nick is the one who needs to be apologized to. So that’s two sided. 2. Hannah wrote so many lists of Nick to show him but this was his private journal his goals. She went and invaded that and showed her friends and then that night of the reunion she posted it on IG. 3. After Hannah moves to Cali and gets an agent. 4. The whole point of the show is to not go off looks. I believe Nick was truly trying to like Hannah throughout the show but how can someone become attracted to someone else when they get treated like garbage? That would be a turn off for me.
I agree with eveything u said about Marissa, I was routing for her, until the finale Also Hannah OMG I thought Chelsea was bad from the other season but Hannah took the biscuit, the worst
100% agree with everything about hannah. she’s just a mean girl, straight up. i dont even care for nick but so what that he found her underwhelming??? she felt the same way about him. at least he wasnt mean to her. like we’ve seen horrible guys on the show and he wasnt that. she, on the other hand, tried to pretend like him to stay on the show longer but she couldn’t hide her ugly spirit. thats all her, thats how she truly is and she kept it going on the reunion.
My issue is, if Hannah was willing to show all of this behaviour on film, what treatment was she not showing? Also why how could you be attracted to someone who treated them like that? 🤷♀️
Steph Anya breaks down love is blind contestants on RUclips she’s a licensed therapist. I would LOVE if you all would listen to her on the podcast she offers so much insight. She said Hannah has more functional adult maturity and Nick has way more emotional intelligence in the way he kept it classy. She used better words lol.
It does seem like Hannah has "street smarts" and Nick has the calmness and patience to handle confrontational personalities. But, knowing how to plan for retirement and clean does not make you more mature.
Ooh, I love watching her videos! This one in particular fell kind of flat for me, though. Imo it felt like she skipped some big red flags regarding Hannah’s treatment of Nick (esp in the reunion). Although I do agree with her assessment of Hannah’s financial literacy.
@@happyheart73 I like that she put a name to what everyone is calling “mean girl” or “bitchy”. I’d use those terms but she called it out as contempt. I was truly like oh, that’s what that means lol. @@JKbadger-h4w that was overall what she said as well. Hanna kept on reiterating Nick you’re no mature, Nick you’re not on my level, Nick I’m this that and the other. I could go on and on about this haha.
I just finished LIB Habibi and would love to hear your thoughts. In a lot of ways, it was so refreshing to watch. The "fame seeking" we keep seeing more and more of in the US version isn't there, and the cultural differences gave the LIB format an interesting spin!
I follow representations of the Ramayana in Southeast Asian art and I loved hearing Deepti's summary of the story. And I didn't know it was connected to Diwali, that is very cool!
Funny thing in the show was when hannah said katie is my best friend in the whole world and I was like gurl you only known her for two weeks haha! How is she your best friend!
Woah...thank you for the "grenade" definition... I knew it wasn't a good reference but that was harsh. Also, I LOVED the Marge Simpson costume - it was so fun, the eyes made me lol
It's okay for Nick to want to be the most famous person on Love is Blind. Be realistic, who on the show WOULDN'T want that? But just because you want to be famous doesn't mean that you dont want to find real love either. You can want to have both.
One thing about this season was that the contestants chose to have their arguments without the cameras on them. Then we got to see them talking about the conflict they had which isn't the same as watching it happen. I bet that will continue and i don't blame them, but it's less interesting for me, from a psychological angle.

Nick may have not been attracted to Hannah. So what. He never insulted her to the audience. Assuming men never throw each other under the bus unless it’s true is naïve and lazy thinking.
Hannah, the mean girl, upset because people are posting mean comments towards her. Imagine that.
7 Seasons in and people on the show are perplexed that someone did it for fame? Breaking News - They all do. Is potentially finding love part of it? Sure, but LIB is an experience and a major part of that is being on TV.
Hannah uses "Direct" and "Mean" as synonyms and thats crazy.
She said Nick liked hate comments on HIS social media and she was peeking into it...
I love how you guys spoke about Diwali and the backstory behind it 🫶🏼
Confirm!! 👩🎤🎉🪷
Fun fact:
In German when you say somebody is a „real granade“ you mean they are smoking hot!
Hannah was out of control.. Marissa's anger was misdirected and feel so bad for Taylor because DC is not a compromise for California. Unfortunately I don't think they will last. Ashley was clearly trying to make everything make sense but unfortunately no matter how she spins it Tyler lied in the pods and didn't tell her the truth she already loved him
Taylor shouldn't have gone on a show in DC to get married when she had plans to live on the other coast. I was surprised Garrett even entertained it.
@joanna0988 that's a good point. However she was upfront about it
@@raeraemillstone Yup but it's kind of like an ultimatum.
I don’t get how Monica calls Stephen is a liar but believes that he said Nick called Hannah a grenade
Because it was not about him but about someone else...
@ smh
I mean, I believed it once Ramses told Nick to take accountability
@ I believe he said something about her looks but he constantly said he didn’t call her that name
You’re being delusional. If you can’t see thru Nick’s behavior, that’s on you. There are now multiple witnesses to him saying negative things about Hannah’s looks.
We are Team Nick, some of the abusive women never get held accountable
And can you imagine if a man said to a woman on the show ‘I turned you from a girl into a woman!’ She got away with so much!
I couldn't believe Hannah was able to make me and most of us dislike her even more. Wow! Doubling down on the absolute worst behavior..
Watching Hannah bully Nick the whole season AND the way she doubled down during the reunion gave me anxiety. It was so uncomfortable.
They should’ve put a trigger warning ⚠️
Yes. I almost didn’t watch the reunion because I was dreading what Hannah would say/do. I felt the same way about Stacey in a previous season.
Marissa’s mom - crown her. Her appearance was one of the most useful from her honest thoughts on Ramses to Hannah. I bet she would have choice words for Tyler…
Meanwhile Ashley's mom was sitting there talking about "I'm learning from them"🙄
What did she say about Hannah?
I might had been more looking forward to this podcast than to the actual reunion tbh
It’s so complicated and we will talk about it!! Great episode idea :)
I can’t decide who’s the worst person on LIB - Hannah or Sarah Ann.
Um not Tyler?? 😅 Straight up abandoning 3 kids for a show and wife. Hannah and Sarah Ann are just assholes.
Zainab
Yes. Her mom seems very intelligent and careful with her words. You can see her subtle reaction when Hannah says non-factual things.
Marissa needed to mind her own business and let Hannah for her own battles
Leo was so close to redemption but he called women menu items…..they are not things. They are humans.
She has to maintain control by saying “Sorry, but at least I was right about the vibe you were giving me.” I have been on the receiving end where all you want in the world is an apology, but Hannah has to one-up or score a moral victory.
projection of insecurity 💯
I was wanting the videos exposed
That wasn’t it for me I think the best surprise was that just how close Leo and Brittany are still even though they didn’t find love with each other, they found something better a really adorable friendship.
Hanna is not direct. She is abusive.
Agreed. Being direct means sharing reality in a concise, respectful way - not lashing out viciously and making wild accusations.
At some point, Garett chimed in to tell Ty, "I've got your back"
@@axegalwhat possibly more could there be, to add to Tyler’s defense, on the naturally conceived twins?
@@axegalyeah that made me side eye 👀

Last comment I could listen to you guys talk forever. Your voices are calming and lighthearted and the banter is funny and natural! Keep it up ❤
thank you! ❤
Deadbeat dad's are not a unique situation 😂 And as for privacy bc kids are involved... no they aren't he abandoned them
EXACTLY!!!!
Hurt people hurt people. Hannah needs therapy
When Vanessa asked Hannah that question about if she was happy and she teared up, that was telling and sad.
This is exactly what I was thinking.
💯 Direct can be respectful. :)
I love listening to yall while I’m driving to work in the morning! Yall are awesome!
I’m only in the first 13 minutes of the video, y’all haven’t even started talking about LIB, and I am enjoying this so much and lol’ing. 😂 you guys are sooo funnyyyy.
I so agree; you two are delightful young women and fun to follow (this from an "old" lady in her 80's yikes!)
Yeah felt like that was a long waste of not talking about LIB recap.
For Hannah,
Directness or Honesty without Kindness and Understanding = Cruelty
So you need to focus on being kinder, more understanding, patience… not just the level of ur “directness”
Thank you for holding Hannah accountable!!!
I feel like the reunion showed everyone’s colors and they blow mine!!!
the thing that pissed me off with Marissa is that she said she defended that one statement about Hannah's looks - which "she knew firsthand" but like, she didn't know it firsthand. She knew it second or thirdhand. Nick told Stephen who told Monica who told her ...or Ramses who then told her ...and those two dudes are liars. So much side eye.
Thank you for sharing your mom's story about Diwali!
Hannah had perfected Mean Girl Victim.
28:12 Marissa took a page out of Hannah's book. "I'm not a bully, I'm just stating facts"...aka.. "I'm not a bitch, I'm just direct"
I need a new podcast with Deepti's modern recap of the stories of the Mahabharata with Natalie's commentary on the toxicity loll I would subscribe
Yes please!!!
Good to hear Ramayan here and how it relates to Diwali ❤
Natalie’s impression of Monica 😂

I’m so glad Deepti told the story of Diwali I was wondering why it sounded familiar and I realized it’s bc I’ve seen A Little Princess a trillion times and they tell part of that story in the movie
omg!
I love that movie!!!
@@beautysfnm same!
Hannah said she was on her own since her teen years. Her friend and family acknowledged that she is very direct( cruel). Did i remember this right?
I agree with eveything u said about Marissa, I was routing for her, until the finale
Also Hannah OMG I thought Chelsea was bad from the other season but Hannah took the biscuit, the worst
Happy Diwali, guys ❤
Steph Anya breaks down love is blind contestants on RUclips she’s a licensed therapist. I would LOVE if you all would listen to her on the podcast she offers so much insight. She said Hannah has more functional adult maturity and Nick has way more emotional intelligence in the way he kept it classy. She used better words lol.
Thats a great perspective. I love when people can describe something in a few words that would take me a paragraph to explain my observations lolll
I’ve always heard that’s a relationship killer and to be honest made me reflect a little bit on my own actions in my relationships.
@@JKbadger-h4w that was overall what she said as well. Hanna kept on reiterating Nick you’re no mature, Nick you’re not on my level, Nick I’m this that and the other. So Steph gave her her flowers for the being able to “adult” but definitely not mature on the communications level. Definitely didn’t put one person over the other, they’re just incompatible.
I'll just say that I actually liked the Diwali story! Deepti is always so sweet :)
You guys are wonderful! The best LIB recap of all the ones out there. ❤❤❤
Is kinda the worst reunion ever.
I agree
I couldn’t care less about the alumni scenes. The ones who are Atleast together still makes sense. Why was Marshall or Nancy there?
As cast members, do you get access to all the footage?
I loved the story about Diwali!! More diversions like that please! :D
Love Monday releases! What a perfect start to the week. Love you ladies!!
I follow representations of the Ramayana in Southeast Asian art and I loved hearing Deepti's summary of the story. And I didn't know it was connected to Diwali, that is very cool!
It’s not Brittany-she’s had a bf for a while and went on a break with him to go on the show
Funny thing in the show was when hannah said katie is my best friend in the whole world and I was like gurl you only known her for two weeks haha! How is she your best friend!
And then Marissa was her best friend. Now Marissa is backpedaling on that.
I think Leo is just awkward and not a true villain, he’s just socially awkward and weird and maybe sheltered
Woah...thank you for the "grenade" definition... I knew it wasn't a good reference but that was harsh. Also, I LOVED the Marge Simpson costume - it was so fun, the eyes made me lol
The recap I was waiting for ❤
Someone called Garret Lord Farquad and I died
I love Deeps new hair color! Suits you so well!
I never knew the backstory of the holiday but that was beautiful. I want to look up the longer version now.
Total side note. Deepti! So happy you love Fargo!! Finally someone who has seen the show! It’s so good!!!
