The agitated and hostile US behavior towards China reminds me of an insecure employee getting massively preocccupied by a competent new hire.

@@x-creator4460 Agreed that is a good analogy. I would add that the insecure employee has a lot more friends than the competent new hire. Due to the new hires behavior.

Common Prosperity should be every nation’s purpose. Who would want to support American style brutal capitalism other than rich people. I really appreciate China’s efforts and hope for the best for humanity

Inequality in the United States is brutal. Mostly as applied to colored minorities. The U.S. is not concerned of such inequality.

The White Americans that I talk to don't care about the poor at all as long as they themselves are doing well.

As Martin said, the west has to get used and adjust to a rising China. I wish Jieqiong would ask how can China help the west to start accepting the rise of China and how can both sides avoid a war? The worst outcome for anyone is a war to cripple China. We can see the opinion in the west is that maybe a war is a good option. The cold war has started - the question is will it lead to a hot one?

Dont waste your breath on US. It suddenly realize that it cannot use war, occupation and sponsored coup or terrorist to maintain hegemony. Thus it is hyping up its anti China propanganda by accusing China of all the things it does itself.

Jaques is on the mark again…!
Neo-liberalism sees no values other than its own ; human rights, economic and industrial values, social values.and the norms of international relations.
However when you examine the realities western neoliberal countries, all of their “values” are contradicted by glaringly disastrous economic and industrial policies which have spiralled into grave societal inequalities and dangerously arrogant neo-imperialist international relations.
If China is making any mistakes in its approach, these are not among them.

In West the leading powers always had a class distinction and did not care about the underprivileged , the UK had the Aristocracy and the commoners, then the US became dominant and had the blacks and whites...in both cases, the underprivileged were scorn at rather than included with by the ruling

Mencius said long ago that if a ruler wishes to expand his domain, he must first attend to the needs of his people. Then the expansion of domain will be irresistible. Perhaps the leadership of the CCP is familiar with Mencius.
