I just found your channel! I grew up playing DDR. I am 30 years old now haha. About a month ago, I found an adult arcade here that offers a monthly membership for free play of all the games. I have been play again, on the StepManiaX for about 2 months now. I am thinking about getting a set up in my garage. I hate cardio but absolutely love playing DDR
same! I grew up playing DDR but quit for a longggggg time. I started playing again because I got a bit too close to the 300 pound mark and I did NOT want to cross that line. I am currently 32 years old and playing DDR is the only exercise that I can do without getting bored 😅 I am currently waiting for the stuff I ordered at the end of this video and will make a vlog about fixing my setup in my garage if you want to see what I'm doing to try and get an idea for yourself :)
I was already pushing it by going to canes on a diet and now you want me to get the 22oz sauce cup bwahaha maybe I will 😅🥹😂 Yeah I honestly was so happy that I could do that! I put it up on facebook marketplace and OfferUp but as soon as I got the chance to sell it to a viewer I jumped on the opportunity (even tho I had to drive around 2 to meet halfway)
Yo man, I used to play ITG 10 years ago. I quit sadly, I live 2 blocks from the boardwalk so I used to go everyday from age 15-20 I used to play 12-13s on itg. I've gained a decent bit of weight over the years I CANNOT wait to get the Ltek pad. It's just a bummer for the shipping cost. Ill get one eventually but yeah i'm jealous and i've been watching your vids. Keep it up!
I also quit around 10 years ago myself, I gained about 75+ pounds since then and when I seen I was close to 300 I started playing DDR again so I don't get to that horrible looking number lmao My prime I was able to clear 12's (old scale) now I am lucky if I can clear 10's/11's... hopefully if I keep this up I will be able to clear 12's again! From my short experience with my LTEK, definitely worth it I really enjoy the time I've had it so far I plan on doing a full review soon :)
There is nothing wrong thinking about playing DDR...I'm so jelly for the people getting the Dance Pad. I want to get one but I don't have space for one...I live all the way down in Florida so I don't get much time to play on an actual machine. I only play on Stepmania with a PS Classic Controller...//
I grew up playing DDR on a PS2 controller and then purchased an adapter to play the PS2 controller on Stepmania aha The LTEK is HUGE I’m so that’s totally understandable. i’m still trying to figure out where to put mine as a like permanent spot
I have a vlog coming hopefully tonight or tomorrow for sure showing my first session on the LTEK (spoiler alert... its really really really freaking good)
Yes! I usually play at Round 1 in Pembroke Pines but now that I have an LTEK I have no idea how often i’ll be going to the arcade if any tbh lol I definitely want to go today after work to try the new DDR World but I don’t know if i’ll be able to :(
@@DietDietRevolutionI mean, DDR machines have tighter judgments, score tracking, and there's the social aspect of it all. I play SMX and PiU, too, as well as Sound Voltex. It's also entertaining to see at least one person step up and rip some songs apart. I even witnessed one guy MFC a 16, one time.
oh yeah for sure! I'm really focused on the weight loss aspect of it right now so the arcade is a side thought for now. I am going to try to get in a 1 hour session per day at minimum. I would LOVE to get in a 2 to 3 hour session per day but I don't know if my body can handle that right now so we'll see! I definitely will be hitting up the arcade to play StepManiaX because I really started to like it over the past few weeks since they brought it to round 1 its been a really enjoyable experience learning to play it and of course the music selection/edit mode is awesome
