I love love LOVED you telling people to donate to a shelter. It goes straight to folks in need instead of ending up for sale somewhere. Perfect solution. You have a new rule to follow though. You must start wearing more square necked pieces. That shirt was great on you. Framed your face perfectly and you looked wonderful!
How you described your skin feeling on fire with the one material sounds like how some people experience sensory issues from certain textures. I've heard it described like it is actually causing pain and not just discomfort. It happens!!
YES. That’s exactly how I feel with any type of wool or animal fiber in any amount. Even 1% is too much. It just feels like millions of tiny little needles pricking me all over all at once. Linen has a similar effect - just feels like a scratchy burlap sack.
It may also be her lipedema making her skin more sensitive to some materials. Lipedema makes your skin very sensitive, which it why people with lipedema bruise easily.
I get this with certain fabrics, like chiffon, but I feel it in my teeth, not my skin. I think it reminds me of when I used to grind my teeth as a kid. But also, some people have sensitive skin and will physically break out in a rash with some fabrics
The neckline of the mid-pink t shirt is THE BEST neckline fur your body, face, bubulas, etc. Perfection, I totally suggest that more items on that neckline appear or seriously become a staple of your tops. Honestly, I don't see the overalls fitting many female bodies, that said, this pair looks great on you, very cute! Navy goes w nearly any color, eeven colors that don't match black. Navy is a super basic color to have. It looks great w yellow, green, purple, burgundy, pink, orange, grey, white, etc.
I love your channel. I love that you always tell the truth about how the clothes fit, it is so very helpful. I love your style! Thank you for all that you do and all that you share with us. I love your sweater!
I think my favorite outfit on you in this upload is the coral blouse 👚 with the mocha colored knit pants. Those colors just really compliment your complexion. So happy to see you smiling again 💝
The square neck shirt that you paired with the sweat pants, looks amazing on you and your skin tone!! The shortalls look great on you!! But, you look awesome in practically everything!! HUGS!!
Anna, I used to sew a lot and made kind of a long linen fitted blazer thing to go over a dress. Frequently linen is rough until you wash the sizing out of if. This yellow outfit you said was strtchy. Probably is not 100% linen. If it says it is you might keep it wash it well and throw some fabric softener in. It looks so good on you!
Linen will usually soften up after a few wears and washes, but who wants to itch - a shame because I absolutely love the outfit on you. Great color and fit.
I’m impressed by this lil capsule haul. Too bad about the jumpsuit and overalls. I think with both of those regardless of retailer/manufacturer they can be hit or miss. I’ve ordered several rompers that are cut all wrong for either short torsos or long legs and also can be difficult to put on, get out of. I strongly believe they don’t want us to sneeze or pee! But I’m sold on those bottoms which really elongated you and smoothed you out. Your commentary is lovable as always!
Thank you! thank you so much for acknowledging the price tag. It's not that their stuff isn't good, or worth it, but a lot of plus-size people come from marginalized groups and don't have the money to spend $200 on an outfit. Hugs!
Hi Anna, I hope you’re feeling better now. I’m so sorry to see you upset on the other video about you just can’t win. I’m glad you’re now happy again. You’re very sweet and you have such nice outfits. I enjoy your videos ❤❤❤
Anna, I just need you to know that we love and appreciate you for just being you. The good, the bad, and the in-between, we are in your corner and always will be.
Love the Yellow. The look was great. I’m not sure what it was about it, perhaps the relaxed design, perhaps the longer sleeves mixed with the looser fabric, but it reminded me of pajamas.
I got a linen shirt recently that itched like that when I tried it on. I washed it and a lot of the itch is gone through just one cycle. Mine was from a discount store so worth the risk, but a higher price point might not be.
A place I shop at uses an insecticide on their clothes that I’m allergic to. Goes on first wash. A possibility with your itchy linen. The fit on some of these was lovely, you have such a great eye for what will suit you. I’m always impressed. Wish I could get you to style me. I’m shaped like a sausage and never find anything that looks good. I’m drawn to things with a neat waist but I don’t have one!
For the buttonholes that are a bit small, you may just need to clip the denim closer to the buttonhole stitching. Denim is a hard fabric to cut and most of the time doesn't get cut all the way in buttonholes.
As a lady has already mentioned buttonholes aren’t always cut all the way, if you look you will probably see that there is room to clip them, I always use a seam ripper so you don’t snip too much.
I love Universal Standard's $98 cashmere sweaters. I am shaped similarly to you and found them stretchy enough to work. I saw their fit model in their NY studio once and she wasn't shaped like a pear, which is why I think I sometimes strugge with their clothes. But I love them!
I have some jeans from them that I really like but I can only afford them if it’s on sale. They are just so expensive. I liked a few things but can’t justify $50 tee shirts.
Hello Anna. I am happy you are feeling better. Sometimes the excess dye in the fabric can cause the skin on fire, I get it from denim. Any denim item I purchase, I have to wash before I can wear it.
I truly appreciate this haul try on as I was going to purchase the jumpsuit. I would have been so disappointed as well in the jumpsuit as I have the same body shape. You saved this Canadian from shipping/returning headaches. Thank you!
The shortalls are so cute! Maybe just take it to a tailor or dry cleaner that does alterations and ask them to make the button holes bigger by the tiniest bit. I bet it would only cost a couple $$
I hadn't ever heard of Universal. Will have to go in and check out for the granddaughters and I. thanks for a new place. I liked the green sweater you had on. Looked like a light good feeling soft fabric.
I like everything you try on, the only downside there clothes are on the higher price point maybe I can save up to be able to buy a piece. Thank you for putting everything out there to help others. You ROCK
Big fan of your channel Anna, but did you take your measurements and reference the size chart before buying these clothes? I’ve never heard someone have fit issues with universal standard
Yes! That almost raw linen material is something I hate even on a hanger. I need it to be lighter, thinner, and less burlap-y. I dk how people wear it comfortably.
I know this is an older video, but I agree with this-- I'm a similar shape and shorter/smaller than Anna, and I need to be careful to look at their clothing specification to decide between a 26/28 and a 30/32 from them. They are cut for people without a defined waist, and those of us who do have a lot of curves need to be prepared to size up from what we wear elsewhere.
Hi Anna, in regard to the rose pink tencil t-shirt you showed with mushroom colored track pants, try washing the t-shirt in a “bra bag “, that way hopefully no more snags with zips etc
I am a big fan of Universal Standard clothing. They are investment pieces you are going to get alot of years and wear out of and not cheap quality fast fashion. I have pieces from when the store just opened, up to current pieces and they are all in excellent shape and do not look old and worn out at all. I always wait for sales and coupons to buy stuff to save some money because they have pretty good sales and decent coupons and I love basics. Their quality and cost per wear definitely outweighs fast fashion, so they are totally worth it.
Absolutely love the red dress such a beautiful red colour. The brown pants looked so comfy need more of these type of pants. Also like the top with it. Also loved the blue pants.
Thank you for this haul! I agree about US, they are expensive but they are quality pieces and worth the money for good, staple pieces in your closet. (Like a black and white tee.) That being said, I love the jogger and square, neck tshirt outfit you bought! I think I will be getting that tee, for sure.
Hey Anna, glad to see you more up beat and doing better. I really like on you, the red dress and black leggings with the dark pink shirt, the overalls too. The last outfit would be great in cooler weather. Your right about picking what you specifically want in clothes. 😊👍🌹🌹
Those side stripped pants look great and would be supercute with a lot of things (in the fall). Texas is not the place to be wearing sweats in the summer or spring..haha but the blue is a neutral and you can wear all kinds of things with it!
Ok the short-alls and the top looks great. The leisure wear is nice for running errands and what not, but the other clothes do nothing for you. You have much better clothes. They just don’t do you justice. I love your videos thank you for sharing.
Loved the navy joggers and especially the denim short overalls. Very flattering on your figure! You need to keep them. The tops are expensive but super nice, definitely worth the investment.
Hey girl, I sure hope you can still wear that yellow shorts outfit. That was sooo pretty on you! The color looked great and it was just a really chic, classy looking outfit. Maybe after you washed it? And as for that short overall, those looked really cute too, so how about if you just slightly cut the button hole a bit larger to fit the button? I understand if you’re paying that much, it should be done right. But sometimes we just have to take matters into our own hands. Lol! Love ya!

I get this, but for me it's because of my fibromyalgia. Not fun.
Yes
You are right
Have experienced this sensation
It may also be her lipedema making her skin more sensitive to some materials. Lipedema makes your skin very sensitive, which it why people with lipedema bruise easily.

Linen is itchy for me as well. And as you get sweaty, it gets more and more itchy!!
Hi Becky how're you doing today?

The yellow set is giving me safari vibes. I think you found your perfect neckline with that coral square neck.
Linen will usually soften up after a few wears and washes, but who wants to itch - a shame because I absolutely love the outfit on you. Great color and fit.
All you need to do is wash it 3x without wearing it . No itch involved
@@ItBeThatWaySometimes She literally says she's going to research it. And she didn't know it was going to itch prior to filming the video.
I’m impressed by this lil capsule haul. Too bad about the jumpsuit and overalls. I think with both of those regardless of retailer/manufacturer they can be hit or miss. I second that!! Anna is a beautiful soul💗
Love the Yellow. The look was great. I’m not sure what it was about it, perhaps the relaxed design, perhaps the longer sleeves mixed with the looser fabric, but it reminded me of pajamas.
I love watching your videos because you are the most genuine, honest, & thoughtful person i know!
I love the green cardigan you are wearing. Beautiful colour
You know what I find goes brilliantly with navy blue? Soft baby pink!
Yellow and chartreuse (greenish yellow) looks fantastic with blue too!
You look awesome with longer hair!
Agree
I’m not a shorts suit person but I really loved the yellow. And that square neck top definitely needs to be in my closet!
I got a linen shirt recently that itched like that when I tried it on. I washed it and a lot of the itch is gone through just one cycle. Mine was from a discount store so worth the risk, but a higher price point might not be.
The blush pink/coral top and joggers are so flattering on you!
When you said “I’m sad! So I bought sad pants!” It immediately made me think of me& my sister going saaddd beige clothing for saaaddd beige children
Girl, you rocked those outfits! I'm sorry the denim overshorts didn't work for you. You looked so cute. 😍🥰💖
A place I shop at uses an insecticide on their clothes that I’m allergic to. Goes on first wash. A possibility with your itchy linen.

That square neck top and joggers look great on you.
Hi Anne how're you doing today?
Square necks look great on you! That tshirt with the brownish bottoms and the blue joggers with white t are fantastic!!!!
Love the yellow. So cute! I’m sorry it doesn’t feel good.
I agree with others that the red shirt with the square neck looked fabulous on you!
You always make me smile. Plus I learn a lot about clothes that compliment the larger gal. Thanks for your insights.
Yes you can be allergic to linen. It's warm. I find unless it's lined it's really itchy.
I love Universal Standard's $98 cashmere sweaters. I am shaped similarly to you and found them stretchy enough to work. I saw their fit model in their NY studio once and she wasn't shaped like a pear, which is why I think I sometimes strugge with their clothes. But I love them!

this red dress looks fire on you!!!!!! WOW
The navy pants look 👀😍😍😍😍
I love the last outfit! And your facial expressions when you try on items are so awesome. I’m inspired!
That rose-colored square-necked top is ridiculously nice on you. All the pants are so cute; bummer about the overalls because they looked great!
Hello Anna. I am happy you are feeling better. Sometimes the excess dye in the fabric can cause the skin on fire, I get it from denim. Any denim item I purchase, I have to wash before I can wear it.
Hi how're you doing today?
Omgosh, the last outfit looks *amazing * on you! Yellow itchy shorts outfit was cute to, but I wouldn't get something that itched me either.
I truly appreciate this haul try on as I was going to purchase the jumpsuit. I would have been so disappointed as well in the jumpsuit as I have the same body shape. You saved this Canadian from shipping/returning headaches. Thank you!
That green cardigan though…I desperately want one!!!
Hello!!! Love your confidence and your style!!! 😍😍
Hi Michelle how're you doing today?
The shortalls are so cute! Maybe just take it to a tailor or dry cleaner that does alterations and ask them to make the button holes bigger by the tiniest bit. I bet it would only cost a couple $$
GIRL you FABULOUS!! Love this make up and hair look with the green cardigan!!!
Hi Carrie how're you doing today?
I hadn't ever heard of Universal. Will have to go in and check out for the granddaughters and I. thanks for a new place. I liked the green sweater you had on. Looked like a light good feeling soft fabric.
Hello Sheila how're you doing today?
I just have to say the teal colour cardigan with your hair and makeup looks amazing! You are so beautiful!
I love their clothes on you! I loved the last set you had on, the blue sweatpants with the white tee! Made you look like a very cute tomboy!
I like everything you try on, the only downside there clothes are on the higher price point maybe I can save up to be able to buy a piece. Thank you for putting everything out there to help others. You ROCK
troll lover85,it's better to buy a few quality items rather than tons of cheap crap that barely lasts one wearing.
the square neck line suits you well.
The color of that red dress was gorgeous. It suited you too.
Lol force cuddle the dog
Hi Kay how're you doing today?
Big fan of your channel Anna, but did you take your measurements and reference the size chart before buying these clothes? I’ve never heard someone have fit issues with universal standard
Really liked your last outfit.
Yes! That almost raw linen material is something I hate even on a hanger. I need it to be lighter, thinner, and less burlap-y. I dk how people wear it comfortably.
I literally have so many linen clothes and whatever they put on it during production I’d do itchy. When you wash it it totally goes away.
You always pick out the cutest clothes 💕
I Love you lots and really enjoy your confidence ❤️
The white tee is nice to me. I am messy too. I can never bleach out the white enough.
I'm impressed by the lil capsule haul
"If it is bright, I want it on my body" - this is exactly how I feel)))
Buy the right size and things will fit. You are very obviously a size 32/34, NOT 22/24
I know this is an older video, but I agree with this-- I'm a similar shape and shorter/smaller than Anna, and I need to be careful to look at their clothing specification to decide between a 26/28 and a 30/32 from them. They are cut for people without a defined waist, and those of us who do have a lot of curves need to be prepared to size up from what we wear elsewhere.
Maybe is the formaldehyde it’s packed in?
Did you wash the yellow one before wearing it? A dye in it could be bothering you or a chemical they sprayed on it to keep it clean.
Hi Anna, in regard to the rose pink tencil t-shirt you showed with mushroom colored track pants, try washing the t-shirt in a “bra bag “, that way hopefully no more snags with zips etc
the pink top (to me its pink) with the brown joggers look super comfy, you look mall ready
I can’t wear pure linen either , it feels like I’m wearing sand paper 😖. I love the red dress Anna 🔥
I think this line of clothing was flattering on you.
I am a big fan of Universal Standard clothing. They are investment pieces you are going to get alot of years and wear out of and not cheap quality fast fashion. Absolutely love the red dress such a beautiful red colour. The brown pants looked so comfy need more of these type of pants. Also like the top with it. Also loved the blue pants.
Yellow looks great on you but all I could think was curious George and the man in the yellow hat.
Thank you for this haul! I agree about US, they are expensive but they are quality pieces and worth the money for good, staple pieces in your closet. (Like a black and white tee.) That being said, I love the jogger and square, neck tshirt outfit you bought! I think I will be getting that tee, for sure.
you are so right about white t and black t its a must
Hey I’m wearing my Universal Standard tee right now, love their tees, so soft!
I am loving the white t-shirt is awesome and the blue pants are so cute. Thank sweetness💞💞
I like the pink and brown
Hey Anna, glad to see you more up beat and doing better. I really like on you, the red dress and black leggings with the dark pink shirt, the overalls too. The last outfit would be great in cooler weather. Your right about picking what you specifically want in clothes. 😊👍🌹🌹
Love the sweater you’re wearing. It’s your color
Navy looks good on you!
The yellow linen short set looks fabulous 💛..sad
I just placed an all purple order from US. Hope you do another haul!
yellow 2 piece short set looks excellent on you
Those side stripped pants look great and would be supercute with a lot of things (in the fall). Texas is not the place to be wearing sweats in the summer or spring..haha but the blue is a neutral and you can wear all kinds of things with it!
ooh love the yellow short set, super cute on you
ANNA! That mauve and brown outfit looks soooo good 😊
Yes love the yellow one that's great.
I would love to have that jumpsuit
DAYUM you looked great in everything!
love the last look for sure, super comfy, ready to walk around town with friends and go purse shopping
Ok the short-alls and the top looks great. The leisure wear is nice for running errands and what not, but the other clothes do nothing for you. You have much better clothes. They just don’t do you justice. I love your videos thank you for sharing.
Love the blue pants! They are great! Shame about the shortfalls- they looked so cute on you!
Loved the navy joggers and especially the denim short overalls. Very flattering on your figure! You need to keep them. The tops are expensive but super nice, definitely worth the investment.

Hi Anna,
Linen is a fabric for me that can be soft or itchy. I like linen but it's hard to purchase linen online because you don't know how it's going to feel until you receive it.
my favourite kind of dress
I'll be honest... These clothes really don't look like they deserve the price. I'm glad you found something you liked though.
The yellow shirt andshorts set looked great on you, shame it was itchy-I have the same problem with polyester, I hate the feel of it on my skin!
