Loved this show. My favorite episode was when their daughter was disappointed to learn that Ed did not see battle in Vietnam as he was a clerk. Then Tim brought her to the VFW on the night of the week to see Ed using his clerical skills to help the Vietnam veterans through their paperwork with the VA which is so important. I’m an Army veteran from the end of the Vietnam era. Have been a member of the American Legion and VVA for about 25 years and know so many Vietnam veterans who have this struggle. This episode brought tears to my eyes.
Bringing back Patricia, Jonathan and "Tim The Toolman Taylor" to Last Man Standing was pure genius, it was like a family reunion. The hand shake between Mike and Tim look so real, great work on that. I know what you mean, it's not the same without the "filmed in front of a live audience" at the start of the show, hope to see more of Eve in the last season. Ending this show is probably ever harder because (A) unlike Home Improvement, Last Man Standing does not have all members of the original cast still involved, (B) no audience this time, (C) hitting the jackpot on two different series is rare enough as it is - doing this a third time is unheard of. This is probably the last time for a series finale for Tim Allen as for him to have third hit is not likely. Still appreciate the show and how much fun it is.
