I bought my dad a HX Stomp, he still uses the bean. Bought him Helix Native, still the bean. I think this will finally get the job done and have him switching over to HX models. Old dudes do not like software menus one bit.
horse feathers, I'm 58 and menu diving doesn't bother me one bit, but the less time you spend menu diving the more time you spend actually playing and getting better
To answer a question about "pedals in front" that was asked in the stream: Yes, they sound good (to my ears). In fact, I prefer the sound of my own distortions and fuzzes, running in front of the Pod Express, rather than the ones that are built in to the unit.
Having a blast with this thing. I've paired it with a classic Zoom MS-50g, which I have in front. Sounds awesome. The bass unit is cool as well, and I have that paired with an old Zoom MS-60B. The amps on the Pod Expresses are much better than the ones on the Zooms, but the Zooms are still handy for being able to add on effects that the Pod Express doesn't have. Good times!
Kemper Rack user and have never owned anything Line 6 but this tone at the price and form-factor is a no-brainer. Amazing tone running on only 3 batteries? Shut up and take my money. 💵😎👍
Just got mine today (4/27/24) Holy !@#$%! I was afraid to get my expectations up too high so held back a little. This thing exceeded my expectations in every way shape and form. Sounded great into my practice amp, sounded fricking amazing into my PC, first pedal I EVER had that sounded great right from the start plugging into my DAW and recording without even having to spend even 1 minute tweaking which I usually spend at least 15 and needing EQ's etc., etc, and also amazing with headphones. And I'm a nitpicking guy when it comes to tone and functionality. Wish I would have seen this before I bought the ZOOM MS-200D+ 😖 Not that the Zoom sounds bad. Almost decided to keep that too but can't financially justify it. I couldn't be happier!! Oh, I take that back. I would be even happier if they make some editing software for this thing 😁
Awesome video.. I've got 2 questions. 1)How do you get a totally CLEAN sound on the POD Express? Mine seems to still have a little dirt sound on clean. Do I Need to lower all the Gain, Mids, Treble etc... down to off basically? 2) I can't get Logic Pro to work with the POD Express hooked up via the USB. It's recognized and set to POD Express in Logic Pro and in the iMac Sound Settings... but there is no audio coming out and it's not being recognized for some reason when I setup a guitar track. There's just no signal being detected. Probably user error... but Very Frustrating.
does this contraption have a noise gate it sounds like it does on the hi gain stuff but i don't see any indication on the box. kudos if it doesn't need one lol is there a complete bypass of the whole pedal ? thats awesome you can change all 7 of the cab sims for each amp !!
I have a Moore Radar for recording Guitar into my DAW. Would I be more impressed with the P.E for sheer cab sounds, I would use my many OD pedals through it?
Little Timmys first modeler!😂 no Nick, I am still rocking my POD2.0 and Floorboard in my music room for late nights. I like this but wish Line6 did put it into a Bean enclosure for nostalgia. I may get this, I like the AAA power option. 🤘🔥
6:06 the info on guitar amp models doesn't match the manual I just downloaded....I guess new models got released in the 3 months since this stream? We'd have to stay on top of our updates I guess! Hey Line 6 thanks for being such a cool company and releasing such an awesome product!!!
Outstanding product, everyone wants one, except..... if you live in Europe you will have to wait 9 weeks before any are available! Come on Line 6, drop us a bone here......
if your Pod Go doesn't floor you its probably time to invest in a new speaker or cabinet, at the very least a decent set of headphones, doesn't have to break the bank either , i mostly play through my Katana 50w MKII and for headphones use the Koss PortaPro, sounds phenomenal
Does anyone know if there is a specific way that I am supposed to connect my iPhone to the USB port and play thru the unit? I just plugged in my iPhone but it wouldn’t play thru the unit. Perhaps I did something wrong?
Has anyone had a go.at putting a wah in front of the pod express, thats all that is missing for my needs. Wondering if a wah works nicely in front of it?
The clean channel is a model of a fender amp and can be remodeled. But the amp off, the dot between clean and lead is not a modeled amp and cant be remodeled

Does Playing Boss LINE 6 POD make anyone else really happy? LINE 6 POD is quickly becoming my favorite pedal. It's just so beautiful and sexy. Practically free and the second you drop her on the board that chill ass mofo gives you a Rich Dark Gushing Robust tone.. And you also get this cute little 1/1 feedback response usually too harmless to be forgotten. But more than that, the Line 6 Pod is just so positively alluring. It comes on the board like "do you want to cast a spell?" and I'm like "yeah Line 6 Pod i do want to cast a spell let's do this shit" and when she attacks she's like "SPELLS ARE FUN" and I'm like "yeah they are SO FUN." She doesn't say some bullshit macho shit like "I will destroy you" she's just like "nah spells are fun and voodoo spooky.” And she looks so happy. I mean this is an inanimate object that literally brought my guitar to life by magic. It understands it's life is a temporary magical gift and the dude is just fucking loving it. I mean just look at her face she’s just so happy and cute as a button. I am literally never sad when Line 6 Pod is on board. IDK if she's gonna ever make it into the pedal HOF or not, but for now she a super dope chill pedal.
This does NOT power via USB. Not a laptop, not a wall wart phone charger, nothing will provide power via usb.. The video is wrong. It's batteries or 9v adapter barrel only.
The volume wheel is for the master volume so it doesn't turn down the music without turning down the guitar. You need to use the volume settings on your device ie laptop phone and mix them independently like that. I get my guitar volume where I want it and then use the volume on my laptop to get the music I'm playing to to mix
Line 6 Pod express effects pedal ☄️ needs 3 micro speakers ⛓️ the 500 ma power 🔌 plug needs to be a c input instead 💬 playing through a Artiphon Orba 2 synthesizer 🪄 then a computer 🤧🤕😁 as a bypass also 🍯 what if a humbucker had a mirror 🪞 then motion sensor & touch screen & microphone 🎙️

The sounds on this are pretty good. For someone like me who only needs a few sounds for easy home recording, this device is perfect.
Yea that’s me

Is it possible to use it with the 4 cables method right?
@@ernestofb591No, it isn't, because it has no effect loop, so no effect return. You can only run effects before or after the unit.

Trying this out for some SXSW performances next week! Looking forward to trying it out with the batteries!
I heard the battery lasts only 40 minutes. What was the point of that?
