- Tia Mowry got a sweet surprise on Beyoncé's birthday! On Monday, the 45-year-old actress attended the music icon's Renaissance Tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and Beyoncé gave a nostalgic tribute to the "Sister, Sister" alum after noticing the actress in the audience. In the middle of singing her 2011 ballad "1+1," the Grammy-winning artist created an impromptu remix, adding Tia and her twin sister, Tamera Mowry's early '90s single, "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!" In Tia's Instagram post caption, she started off by reminiscing on the first time she ever met Queen Bey, before sharing how special the subtle shout out was. "The highlight of the night was when she saw me in the crowd, and she gave me a smile and a hello, and then started singing 'yeah, yeah, yeah' from when @tameramowrytwo and I were in the singing group, Voices! I was so touched by her gesture, and I still can't believe that it truly happened," she wrote.

There's a homemade video from the early 90s of Beyoncé at 11-12 years old singing the song "Yeah, yeah, yeah" by Voices with her group Girls Tyme. You can find it on RUclips. You can hear Matthew Knowles at the end of the clip asking them what the song is about and Beyoncé and answers and says "It's about a boy saying yeah, yeah, yeah" lol. It was a full circle moment

She did it so effortlessly and the guitarist followed right believe her during that improvised call and response
"Yeah, Yeah, Yeah" used to be one of my fave songs when I was a kid. Anybody who's a Black 80s/90s kid felt that moment. That was so sweet that Beyonce did that. :)

My first celebrity encountet. I was transplanted to NY from FL. i was like 14 1999. ... skipping school with a new friend. Was a hell of a day, I was on TRL, peoples Court. Stopped for lunch at Manhatten mall , taking everything in. I LOVED Sister Sistrr so much......I saw them wc security and ran up to both "Hi Tia and Tameraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaàaaaaaaaaa " They smiled in unison and one of them, I wanna say Tia, but who knows reached out touched my hand. omg memories lol. They were so sweet so kind so humble. No cells, no camera,.... they were with 1 big guy just shopping at the mall. My friend was jelly bc she touched me but 22 + years later VERY cool memory. I've had few celebrity personal encounters ... or was a special time

@@theechubbyoneno she was hating. As many times as Milkshake has been sampled and licensed, there is no way every entity personally contacted her, because they don't have to. She not only doesn't have a writing credit, she didn't write the song and the song wasn't even written _for_ her. She was displeased that BEYONCÉ used one of her records. She didn't even know what song it was at first (she thought it was "Get Along With You").
She didn't hate on her. She was pissed because her biggest hit was sampled without her knowledge. Whether it was right or not, or cleared is not the point. As a female artist you can't hop on another female artist's biggest hit and not make the courtesy of reaching out to her 1st about it. Kelis had a right to be upset because of the way it was handled.
