After seeing The Aristocrats in person 3 times since 2019, I can say that Guthrie is an absolute master of the guitar. Brian and Marco are masters of the bass and drums, the whole band functions like one brain, they are IMPOSSIBLY tight.

This transcription is so precise !! It fills me with excitement to see how Guthrie plays this tune. There is so much nuance and personality in his playing ! I'm fond of playing harp harmonics of chords too, the bell like tone is satisfying. Guthrie's bends and slidey vibrato is godlike too! Thank you so so much for sharing this :)

bro I feel like I've never played the guitar these harmonics and hammer-ons and pull-offs are difficult as hell to play in time, it's so impressive how Guthrie plays this fluid af, btw who made this transcription is a legend too thanks

It’s extremely difficult to get these harmonics and sometimes almost impossible if it’s not a high quality guitar with a great setup. Thanks man, this transcription definitely had its challenges but it’s awesome to people enjoying it and getting a new appreciation for these tunes!

Clever but cold and forgettable. That obvious snare beat sounds like a school teacher trying to keep kids in time.

This group can definitely get “out there.” Guthrie is extremely talented though. Some of those old Jam track central videos with him playing the style of Larry Carlton and other players is truly unbelievable.

@chrisdelanyguitarist I appreciate his abilities, but I've yet to hear a beautiful melody I can soar off on like Jan Akkerman can come up with.

Ahhh, cold and forgettable. Ok ok. So you obviously have no clue what you are talking about.
Don't worry , you should listen to Foreigner or Boston instead!!

@heisenberg460 . I've been a musician for 50 years. Try listening to Jan Akkerman or Jean Luc Ponty or Samuel Barber or some of Pat Metheny ,Minuano, for instance. The music takes you on a flight . Then come back to this trade show drum beat and tell me I don't know what I'm talking about.
