This with a fuzz is like an instant Interstellar soundtrack maker. A baritone through this would be mental, and it should defo be used for Toska live intros!
That intro... I pictured a dark alley, late at night. A limping man wearing a trenchcoat and carrying a large axe, dragging a body across the street, slowly turning around and looking me in the face. But in a good way 😂
I need to know what the exact settings where for the beginning of this video. Because the opening section of this video has just made me instantly buy this pedal......like literally, its is being delivered tomorrow 🤣
I've owned mine for a while now. I'm back here to get ideas. One thing that I'll never understand is using a clicky footswitch for the tap tempo (or even the bypass but that's just my preference and I could go either way). I'm sending mine to a buddy to swap out the switches.
What I love about your approach to the demos is the time you spend on each sound. Then there's your expression when you find a sound that turns you on. Very cool. Nice work.
You are a true master of your craft, and have certainly found your niche. Your ability to find, describe, and demonstrate the functions of equipment is extraordinary. You are like a musical chameleon that is able to find a home no matter what environment you're thrust into.
You and Stefan definitely gave the best demos available on RUclips to this day. And what's so great is the fact that you have a very different approach to demoing gear and it's really complementing. Stefan makes the pedal shine to the fullest and you (Rabea) made things clear to me that may not have been clear enough to me 'til now. Love you both!
ThePedalZone ; Stefan, thanks to you I'm gonna have my Fairfield Circuitry within two weeks from now. But now I'm in trouble, 'cos for the rest of this year, due to the fact that I do have some important priorities over more pedals (and because of the fact that I'm not the wealthiest person on earth - I had to save a year for the Shallow Water), I will have to decide which pedal will give me more joy. It will either be the Cirrus, or the OBNE Dark Star. You're making my life tough. And beautiful. 😊
The Logan (Overdrive) they make.... it is up there with the best ODs there are. It just is. So underrated. Incredible. Of course this pedal is amazing as well. Want one so bad.
I'm returning my fable and getting the logan and the cirrus probably. The cirrus is allot more usable than the fable. I have the astrospurt from kma and they just make great pedals
Bea!!!!! Glad to see a vid again. With all this stay inside, Corona crap its nice to see you’re still crankin out the creativity and reviews 😎👍🏻 thanks fro!
I have just brought a Burns double six and have just also brought this, I cannot play the guitar so I expect you say I gone well over board on this but the sound is so inspiring to get me there.
That intro was one of the most inspiring things I've ever heard. You need to make some movie soundtracks man, this sounds like something out of Alien or Interstellar. Unbelievable how a little segment of your creative mind can make me want to pick up my guitar again. What was that fuzz pedal in the intro? It sounds deadly.
Def in the Alex Lifeson wheelhouse. To bad he didn’t have this pedal. He would make it shine unbelievably. U did a good job on this pedal Rabea. Sounds really cool. Not sure if pedals are a priority these days. Most just want food lol. And tp. Stay safe and keep the videos coming my friend. We need em nowadays.
I like how the first three notes (relatively anyways) are the first three notes of Oh Canada, I was in the other room when this video started, and my ears perked right up lol
Can you make a video about tips and tricks with delays? How to use them with odd time signatures, how to make them part of your rhythm playing and stuff lile that, it would be really interesting
This sounds AMAZING! As usual, your playing is sublime... I really want to get this, but looks like it is pre-order shipping from UK or Germany only on Reverb right now =( And will ship in mid November?!?! dayamn
Such a neat concept, but I'm done with mono reverb/delay pedals. My stereo setup opened up a new world of sonic possibilities, I don't want to go back to one dimensional mono sound.
Caverns is cool. but Cirrus is something else with the touch thing. Had mine since February, picked it up at the guitar show in Birmingham UK so should be able to find one somewhere now at least in Europe. GAK have them, a friend grabbed one online yesterday.
Thanks for demo Bea. I enjoy watching these as well as the Sound Like vids, I learn a lot about different equipment that I've never used or heard before. One question for you, totally unrelated, sorry. I've emailed Chapman guitars about them making a t-style/ML3 body in a lefty version but I haven't received a response. Could you put a bug in Rob's ear perhaps? Thanks!
“Because is not stereo, I cannot incorporate it in my Toska rig” *pedal designer remembering the design phase thinking “no need for stereo” - throws himself out of the window” Cool pedal though.
haha it's a question of sapce inside and the capability of the used DSP chips - trust me we are focusing a lot on stereo for upcoming stuff! But on that one it woud have ment making a lot of compromises to the features and the price as well :)
Just because there were no patch cables plugged in whilst turning knobs on the pedal doesn't mean it was fake. That's just how magical this thing is. lol
err suggest you try harder to be funny... :p the audio connectors are on the top tho and look plugged in to me... (expression and fx loop jacks on the left side).
@@patgowers2982 I own the thing, brother. I know the i/o's. Watch the beginning of the video with the distorted synthy sounding part. You can see the power cable but no leads.
I’m a simple man. I see a video by Rabea, I watch it
This with a fuzz is like an instant Interstellar soundtrack maker. A baritone through this would be mental, and it should defo be used for Toska live intros!
Agreed
Absolutely
Exactly what I was gonna say - I can't wait to hear this on a soundtrack!
Eh, for Interstellar you also need about two million quid's worth of cathedral organ... ;-)
@@richardharrold9736 or just a hog 2 for significantly less.

Yes. Everyone you see carrying a large axe you always think about in a very nice way...:)
I'm still waiting for the new pedalboard video...
should be on Friday's episode of TPS

A CIRRUS piece of gear this. *Slaps knee*

Hi Rabea! What do you think, why does it seems like you always know exactly what to play? I just love hearing it and take much inspiration from that.
Hey Bea! How would you compare this to the Keely Caverns that you reviewed a while ago and which one would you prefer? Stay safe man!
I could listen to that all day while I work. We need a Rabea Massaad album: Tones For Days
You are a true master of your craft, and have certainly found your niche. Your ability to find, describe, and demonstrate the functions of equipment is extraordinary. You are like a musical chameleon that is able to find a home no matter what environment you're thrust into.
Always enjoy your vids mate. Thanks for this.
Glad I had this on my to get list. Your vid makes me happy I chose right.
Best demo by far for this pedal. Thanks.
ps Have you tried using a stereo splitter in the mono to put in your rig?
I absolutely love what that octave effect does to harmonics.
You and stefan from pedal zone need to collab and call itt where dimensions collide
Mark Holt - ❤️❤️❤️

You’ve sold it to me. It’s bloody marvellous.
Damn this sounds SO good. Not heard a pedal like it with these specific sorts of sound. Very up your street.
Very cool pedal and you definitely made it justice.
Cheers, mate

Sent for one of these after your demo made my mind up
Hey mate. Obviously your tones are sick... But... What mic are you using for your speaking audio on these vids? Sounds REALLY good! 👍🏼👍🏼

If it's his usual fuzz, it's a Buffalo Germanium... no longer available new AFAIK.

Hey bea, have you thought about livestreaming . I bet alot of people would like to see you stream whatever you would like. 👌🏻
Yeah I have, I’m actually in the process of setting it up. What kinds of things would you wanna see?
@@RabeaMassaad either just you jamming to anything. or a lesson of a toska or grinding gears song

Some old amps and your old guitars! It would be badass to see you write some riffs and solos.

No regretthi :D
Could you do a vid on sound cards for connecting guitars to a computer? Perhaps a cheap alternative, medium and a high end? Keep it up!
Ok, so this is gonna be on the next Toska album for sure right?!
You can use it in the wet dry power cab extention in the katana mk2 and the sound bounces quite well
Annnnnnd sold. Take my money
you should check out kma fuzzly bear you'll dig it ;)
Reminds me of the keeley caverns v2 that you reviewed a while ago.
Sick intro!
I like what it does but can it also do regular delay? I just want one delay on my board.
might let a guitar go to get one these
Holy shit, David Gilmore tone in a single box.
Been thinking of getting the keeley caverns, bit new to the delay game, should i pull the trigger on the caverns or wait for this to come out?
