Students if you want to master balancing chemical equation Step 1:search tutorial for prediction of product in chemical equation Step 2:search tutorial for balancing chemicals equation Step 3: practice different equations daily consistently For periodic table : At least study 30 elements with atmic number, mass number, their physical properties and their chemical properties (if you are begginer) For organic: Study the iupac rules and try to name different chemical equation by yourself daily (also study common name for that) For theory: Understand the concept by diagram ands try to remember as facts Ex:dalton atomic theory etc.. Most important thing is to solve as many problems as you can related to your portions... Yeah now you will chemistry pro After you study all elements in periodic table with their properties..
I think u don't need to study all the elements, you can just familiarize where they at and remember the periodic trends and properties of each group. And it's better to study the first and 2nd period since they have the most distinct properties and they're the most common thing in compounds. Anyway, thanks for the tip especially in org, ill def use it
Im studying chemistry rn and gonna give you real tips: 1. Study from one notes, one youtube video and from one book. 2. Visualize everything if you can. 3. Actively engage with the material( ask your own questions etc). 4. Don't make pretty notes with all that pretty markers. Because it's a waste of time. Just keep them organized and use only 1 pen. 4. Learn by writing the process in your own words. 5. Just start lmao
Just use one pen????bro at least we should use three pens for one for heading another one for theory and and last one for important points and formulas...... its easy to read and differentiate between them
@@somya.d6240 you can do that too, its just that whenever i study for an exam, i don't make notes but just do blurting and use only 1 pen. But its totally up to you
Also focus on orbitals if you can. I just started OChem and was immediately hit in the face with orbitals. Not much from GenChem carries over to OChem (I’ve been told) but one of the few things that did carry over was orbitals. Sigma and Pi bonds mostly I think.
To start chemistry iw ould suggest first study periodic table and atomic no and imp polyatomic anions it would be very easy to patch up then if u know atomic no u can find valency also using 288 method these all are basic concepts for class 10 we need this basics mainly on 1 st chap 2nd chap is more therotical idk about other chap i am now studying these trust meee u cannn

I saw someone else give some chemistry study tips and I thought I’d try to give my own, I did pretty bad on tests because I couldn’t remember stuff but I did understand things well enough to help out friends occasionally. #1. Speaking of friends find a study partner. Sometimes it’s best to talk something through with someone else so you’re not mentally stuck on a problem. #2. Take notes, not pretty notes, not organized notes, take LOTS of notes-and write them in a way you would explain the concept to yourself, don’t just copy down the PowerPoint slide or the whiteboard. #3. Do the extra assignments, even if they’re not worth points. It may seem pointless but the more you practice the more familiar it becomes. But make sure you practice and try to get the correct answer, practice often makes permanent and if you practice something incorrectly multiple times it’ll be harder to correct, so always check your work and answers. #4. If you are struggling I highly suggest getting a tutor! Asking the teacher questions is great, but you and the teacher may not always have time to sit down and go into depth, and you can’t guarantee another student isn’t asking for help during your free time. Having someone who can help you one on one for a designated time each week can be really helpful. #5. Try to actually understand the material. Don’t just memorize things to try and pass the test. This tip is more so for your sanity than your grade, trying to actually understand the material and then actually understanding it, (even if it takes a while) will give you a feeling of accomplishment and make the class more bearable. #6. Review old topics every so often, many topics are often related to topics covered earlier on so it’s always a good idea to review those. #7. Most importantly, don’t stress about your grade. This sounds counterintuitive but it helps if you’re not in a constant state of worry. Relax and just try to enjoy the class and just do your best. #8. Come up with silly/stupid examples. Your notes don’t have to be literal definitions and it can be helpful to draw connections to real life things to help you remember them. Personally I think the sillier it is, the easier it is to remember. (Personal example from me was using cats as electrons often.) Welp I ran out of ideas, this is all just stuff I started to do in my second semester that made the class not only more enjoyable but a whole lot less stressful too.
Something that worked for me was teaching basic concepts back to the instructor. And then teaching it to family members/ co-workers who don't know anything about chemistry. Another good study resource that worked for me was getting workbooks off of Amazon to complement the textbook. Textbook explanations and definitions can be very dense and way too abstract. So I found that learning the same basic concepts from different sources helped me A LOT. I can recommend some of this workbooks
