years later, this still remains as one of my favorite speed painting videos ever. I like to come back randomly and rewatch it once in a while. I would love to buy a print of this some day (:
Wow. Just wow. Just the detail you put in is absolutely astounding. Someday I hope to be as skilled as you are! I'll be watching you on deviantart, I hope to see more work from you in the future.
I usually access it from the Painter toolbar (it's the second option under the grabber tool). But if you like keyboard shortcuts better it's Spacebar+Option(Alt in Windows)+drag to rotate. Hold the same buttons down and double click with your mouse to return to the original orientation.
frikin insane...i def learned a new thing with the black and white underpainting then just coloring over it to get the amzing depth u see with people skilled in digital art.normally i will sit there and slave trying to color and shade on my primary colors if that makes any sense...either way great work
It's in the credits at the end but, just to restate: I'm using Snapzpro (for the Mac) to screencap and iMovie for editing. This was actually done over three days so I was saving it in chunks then compressing. Sadly, the new version of iMovie that's out with iLife doesn't do time compression, so I'm using an earier version.
Melissa this is fantastic! Is this the infamous Queen of Hearts? I think your attention to detail is great! I'm working at getting my speed paint videos to come together like this. Great job! May I ask what screen recorder you use and what you use to edit?
@RAVENEDD Computers software emulate tradition paint very well these days. To achieve the same quality in tradition painting would take x3 as long if not a lot more. No point.
I don't understand what you mean by "modem". Do you mean the program? The software used for this painting is Corel Painter. Je ne comprends pas. Qu'est-ce que le "Modem"? Voulez-vous dire "program"? Le logiciel utilisé pour cette peinture est de Corel Painter.
Translation: I think this is really great but I prefer real painting. It seems you can paint without a PC, Can I see you paint to study your technique. Nice work, greetings.
