We can receive the Holy Spirit if we do these things: 1. Admit we are a sinner and repent from your sins (turn away from sin) 2. Believe that Jesus is God and He died for you and rose for you 3. Confess that Jesus is Lord. I love you, please take this into action. God loves you, Jesus loves you and the Holy Spirit loves you! You were in Their mind before creation. If you do these things you can have eternal life with God in Heaven! Look at creation, you can tell that there is a creator, the proof: creation. In the same way you know that there was a painter because you can see the painting. God is real and He’s coming to judge the world. It’s not by our own works we get saved but the works of Jesus Christ. Put your trust in Jesus and let the Holy Spirit lead your lives! I love you all, that’s why I am sharing this! Other so-called Spirit led churches with husband and wife pastors and reformed churches run by a lesbian or lesbian couples claiming to be ordained pastors 🤷♀️ God help us share the gospel of Jesus Christ and provide us with men to boldly teach scripture 🙏💗🙏

I am for taking away tax exempt status for churches. Originally it was for churches like to Jake's Joel Osteen etc but they'd just diversify and sleuth to small "micro" churches. So unfortunately small large micro macro would need to be taxed.

I used to think this, but then I heard Dallas Willard say that if every church in the United States was full, it would be 3% of the population. I don’t know where that statistic came from and it was 10-15 years ago, but it made me rethink my ideas about church planting.
And now I would like to tell you about Pound and Coleman, WI; between these 2 nearby towns, there are about 1,000 people. According to Google, there are 3 Baptist churches, 2 of which are next door to each other; 4 Lutheran churches; 2 Catholic churches; 1 Assembly of God; and a few nondenominational churches. Just in case anyone wants to know where not to start a church in Wisconsin.
There are 4 churches beside each other in our very small area. Baptist, Methodist, catholic and an IFB… Pick your outfit and attend the church of your choice!
In Tennessee, If somebody's tailgating me on the back roads I just wait until the next Church comes up and pull in. It will be a 1/4 mile or so in the middle of nowhere...
This was hilarious! I will note that 20-30 years ago, the only plot of land affordable for churches was at the edge of our city, so they all bought land close by each other. A few decades later, and the whole area is built up around them along with expensive neighborhoods. We have our Catholic church next to a methodist chuch next to a baptist church, next to a Kingdom Hall across the street form a Greek Orthodox. I think there may be one more in there too...

You should see Petersburg, TN. It’s definitely nowhere near as affluent as Brentwood, but in a town of about 500, there are at least five churches including duplicates of the same denomination (Church of Christ). Assuming 100% of the residents are Christians (not likely) that’s a ratio of 1:100 churches to people. That doesn’t include churches right outside the town limits or with a Petersburg address. It has to be some kind of record and indicative of bad theology in there somewhere. That’s why I’m Orthodox now and drive an hour away to church in Columbia or Franklin.
WE should be the church. Nowhere in the Bible does it say, that church is a building. All these Denominations missed the whole point. They cannot love one another, even if they see things a little bit different. It‘s really sad, and the true Bride of Christ are very, very few people.
I remember meeting a pastor who said he was working on building a church in our community. I said there's already so many churches here struggling. If you really wanted to help, wouldn't you try to get more people involved in the churches that already exist? He didn't have a response.
