As someone that has done hundreds and hundreds of each type to test the viability of this strategy and the profit per hour for each significant tier on average I can tell you that compared to other farming methods currently Blights are NOT the most currency per hour when min-maxing. It is however good for mid investment gambling that you literally can't lose but may hit big . (As long as you can complete the map obviously) T1-5 maps generate around 27c profit per map on average (recorded sample size 500) [~4c per min not including time to sell items] T9 maps (opalescent drops here) were around 51c on average (recorded sample size 250) [~7c per min not including time to sell items] T15 maps (golden & shaper/elder frags drop here) were around 83c profit (recorded sample size 375) [~12c per min not including time to sell items] The biggest issue is that if you are not running extremely large amounts of these you will not get the bulk required to easily sell consumables (fossils, scarabs, fragments etc). Quite a lot of trading is required as well and a vast majority of the things you get are low to mid value items. While many of these types of things can be ignored or used by the player (saving you from spending money on them) the actualized profit is much less substantial. Selling oils that are not Opalescent, Silver and Gold can be a pain in the butt as well even if you have bulk... unless someone else running blighted maps wants to buy your bulk black/crimson oils if you aren't using them yourself. This makes sustaining maps quite difficult if you do not have a large sum to invest at the beginning and time to dedicate to trading before you buy another large set if you want to maximize profitability and time efficiency. The higher in tier you go the more loot on average that drops from a pustule. Because of this scaling Stacked Deck alone was worth about half the cost of running a map no matter the tier. (Low tier maps on average dropped 3.5 stacked decks each while t15 dropped around 8) This is essentially controlled gambling since you never really lose over the long term (as each map tier is profitable). Riding the wave from one big ticket item to the next can be fun but a majority of your value comes from stuff that may take more effort than its worth to get rid of (time efficiency wise) unless done in mass bulk at inflated prices due to that bulk stock. The requirements to do low tier maps are pretty much nothing however finishing high tier ones can be a bit of a pain for some players. Even at the point I was at AFKing 3-4 maps at once with baron zombiemancers the profit per hour was less than just doing high tier mapping/delving as efficiently as possible or unsustainable to continue getting the maps I needed in the quantities I needed for high tier ones (its why i have WAY more low tiers recorded). The TLDR of it is that on average you can run around 7 maps an hour. Even if you are making 80c profit per map you're still making less per hour not including trade time than you can make during other things that take substantially less investment (spending 420c per hour even if you double it is not viable for MOST players). These are thing such as zana mission farming, t14-16 speed mapping or delving. Hell even doing strictly t1 maps on a build that can level and sell 20+ gems is going to generate about the same amount of profit per hour when done efficiently. However Its an easy and relatively lazy way to make money at the cost of lots of trade time (buying maps and selling items) and high initial investment requirements if you wish to really maximize your time (doing t15s) unless you want to do low investment low reward for the lower tier maps. If you have the capabilities of doing 3-4 maps at a time though (multiple computers) it can be obscenely profitable as long as you don't mind the trading time or have someone to do all the trading for you that you trust. As a single person on a single account its very much just a lazier way to make similar money to other efficient farming methods (especially with baron zombie builds)
Nice write-down. I assume Bestiary Scarab rotas would be another way of making more profit/hour. I do however like Blighted Maps for people who don't know exactly what they are doing, as they are a rather straight-forward way of making currency. IF you can do them reliably (which does require some practice, but isn't all that hard). Hell, it might even be the easiest reliable currency gain.
This true, but when youre lucky af like me and run a random dropped blighted plateau map, finish its, open a perandus chest, have perandus spawn, and he sells you a headhunter for 1.5 ex worth of perandus coins. You tend to make a lot of profit really quickly xD
Thank you, finally someone saying this and backing it up with actual data. Big Ducks briefly mentioned it in the video as he stated you need to be able to afford the initial investment (and potentially lose it), but most youtubers are really disingenuous about the whole matter of recovering your investment and make it sound to new players as if you will easily run blighted maps over an extended period of time, which for most is not gonna happen due to the mentioned problem of getting rid of low to mid tier items if not sold in bulk. Blights are certainly worth running and they can definitely be profitable as a long term strategy, but they are not a money printer for everyone if you´re not aware of concepts like bulk selling yet, so i feel like this should always be a huge disclaimer before these kinds of videos.
Surprised nobody here mentioned how effective Scout towers are (the ranged minion lvl 4 upgrade). There's a good reason many people just get a bunch of scout towers, especially with the range anointment which is fairly inexpensive to get.
I really appreciate the content! I’ve watched a couple of your guides and you definitely have something that most other Poe creators don’t. You prioritize information while still remaining concise. I don’t think you said anything twice in the whole duration of the video, and that makes it so much easier to learn from. Also you didn’t drone on about how this was the best, you just weighed the pros and cons and that was that. It’s nice to see a creator who wants you to do what you want, and gives you the knowledge to do so vs creators making videos like the way they play is the end all be all of poe. Thanks for the great content and keep it up!
Please make a syndicate mechanic video as I’m still unsure of how the various syndicates interact with each other and when to execute/bargain/interrogate
TL;DP - NEVER interrogate except to move members to other branches, or to demote leaders to get someone else at the top (for two chests). Also never pick the option to remove all rivalries. You want as many lines between all the members as possible. The branches can hold up to five members each (leader +4 peons), and you can have 14 members on board total (not counting the mastermind). It's best to have two full branches, and two filler ones. Never run the safehouse until everyone in it is rank 3 (except Jorgin). Never run the mastermind unless you want the drops, resetting your board isn't worth it.
Can confirm, have been running T15 blights with 3x crimson oils for the last week or so and have been making good money. I typically buy 5 - 10 at a time depending on how much currency I have and then run them all at once. Even if I fuck up one or two I STILL manage to nearly double my money... Biggest winners are the sheer number of Stacked Decks you get, averaging about 5 - 10 per map which basically covers the cost of the map, and also if fragment chests get the lucky proc you can get shaper/guardian fragments which are another 40c+ each. Everything else (fragments, oils, currency, cards, rares, fossils, scarabs, essence) is just gravy on top :)
Thanks for this amazing guide ! I did skip Blight League so I never really knew what I was doing, failing any blighted map I tried. This has helped a bunch !
@@BigDucks yeah it took me a couple run in's with cassia in standard maps to figure out how to even get some of the towers to t4 lol. Really appreciate the breakdown of towers and how/when to chose them.
Only thing I would add is to avoid certain blight maps. Vault map will glitch and have 2 or 3 lanes stuck behind the vault door, meaning you never finish the map and could have some of the nicer pods behind the door.

Easily my fav poe content creator, keep up the grind and thx for providing different takes on the game. Legit gonna put this video to use tomorrow after a long week.
great guide, I love running blighted maps in my first league, and I found skeletons extremely useful using splash damage, they run and kill entire lines of enemies
I've been doing a countless blight map farming and tbh I dont know anything about the mechanic cuz I don't even use any tower, its pretty interesting to see how tower interacting, thanks for the guide and the last thing you say its pretty much true, you just cant run single blight map and expected to get all the profit, pretty solid guide man,def worth a sub
I'm a veteran PoE player and enjoyed Blight a lot, but man, props to you. I really didn't realize that the T4 towers will ignore the mobs immunity thingy. Ty!
Came here to say one thing. I put the scout tower damage annoitments on both of my rings and summon nothing but those towers in a blighted map. Maybe some empowers here and there but those scout towers are insane. They take care of anything and everything before it has a chance to get close to the pump.
So in the process of running 120 T15+ maps and all I have to say is I personally am running the as magic maps as the cost to roll the maps with easy mods was only 24c and it allows you to squeeze out just a tiny bit extra from the maps.
@@IamNinjaOfNinja I still have maybe 20 T16 left (I afk so I find it boring and can't do them all in one sitting) to do so I haven't evaluated the profit just yet. But considering that the maps all cost me around 8700c paying 24c to add just a tiny bit of extra "juice" to the maps is worth it especially if you just roll easy mods that don't make the maps harder but add quantity/pack size. I just want to say that at the end of the day they well still be profitable as white maps, I just wanted to min max were I could! Edit: Maps actually cost 7914. 8758 was the cost including oils, chisals, trans, and alts.
1:52 or go to the config file and put False value in the voice sound like and get some more FPS Really liked Blight after PC upgrade, sadly it was after aforementioned league :
To me didn't work out that well since my specs are already mediocre at best. And I agree with Ducks, having the audio cue saved me more times than i can count. And it's just horrible to play something with no audio whatsoever. (I already have the music and ambient sound off)
Dialogue is really really important in sirus fight too, I was talking about setting the false value on music and ambient sounds, while my loot filter is cranked all the way up
@@chronoschord seriously doubt one blight map will pay for gold oils. In my experience you might make 70c per blight map on average. So a 300c+ cost of oils will not be sustainable.
Honestly, no. Not the most profitable thing but you only need 2-3ex to be able to sustain blighted maps, teals and chisels well enough to be able to run them all the time while only focusing on 10C+ sales. Then you can expect to be able to farm 1ex+/h with red blighted maps. I'm about done with this league so a tip to those of you who are going to do this (and a general sales tip that can be applied to everything), as you're getting valuable drops (with blight specifically), mark your good drops up 2.5-10% based on how big your pool of maps to run is. This helps limit how many trade requests you're going to get while you're stuck in a blighted map and it also maximizes profit and avoids price fixers. For instance, when I only had currency for 3 blighted maps at a time I would mark 10C items at about 12C, I'd mark 40C items at 42C. This made it so that when I had 10-15 items with an average price of 30C ea that I was focusing on selling I was able to get an offer on something roughly every map I ran. Now that I have about 10ex 'liquid' for blighted maps and a couple tabs full of 10-100C items I mark everything up 10% so that I still only get offers when items take a big, usually sudden upwards swing.
I came back after a number of months and keep running into league mechanics that are new. First time I failed immediately because I didnt know anything about it. After playing it a few times it's pretty fun and I like it alot.
Thank you for this very helpful instructional vid. I am a new player to the modern POE game and this is the best advice I have seen on this confusing aspect of the game.
I run t15 3 real blighted maps non stop. I whole heartedly agree with everything you said and can say you are completely correct on everything. I have time and time again had people say "I did 5 and I barely broke even". To them I say, how? Oils and raw currency alone pretty much pay for the map, stackdecks help it fully even out, and anything else is pure profit. Like you said, sample size means a lot and that is what people aren't seeing. In my 20 map full test, I acquired empower 4, enlightened 4, and 3 other 21/23 gems. Yes those are lucky, but this league I have acquired over 20 of the 2ex+ gems. Items are also important such as rings and belts. Yes it takes a lot of time and you have to balance that yourself, but getting that juicy 10ex ring or the occasional 1ex strengthbstacking belt offsets it in most cases. There is so much loot, and knowing what sells, and what doesn't is probably the most important thing to know when it comes to loot. Thank you for this video. I hope a lot of people see it.
Also if you run low lvl blighted maps and you have time on your hands, if you set up your itemfilter for chaos recipee, youll get arround 20+ chaos just doing that from one map. Its a bit tedious to do, but with dump tabs it can be fairly efficient
I'd even go as far as saying any decent build can do it (ie properly optimized, not necessarily investment-wise). I don't agree on everything you've said about towers, but that's the beauty of the system. Different strokes for different folks. I'd also say that my choice on tower does often revolve around the strengths of my build (ie am I lacking clear or single target) AND what the bosses in the map will be resistant against. Some extra notes on towers: -Sentinel Towers can be invaluable as they actually stop waves and bosses for a good few seconds + they are more reliable than glacial cage towers for that purpose alone. Dropping one of those when in a pinch has saved me a good few times. -Glacial Cage Towers are much better than what you give them credit for. The big reason being that they also stop enemies from moving which allows meteor towers with their delay to eradicate larger packs of enemies and hit bosses more reliable. -Meteor Towers are also pretty massive ... even their extra meteor annoint is probably one of the better options on rings. I know you mentioned them, but I think you undersold what they can do for builds with low single target.
Any tips for melee characters? What I personally did was get the Golden Fireball Anoint which made Fireball towers fire in a circle and the increased cast speed one. and both did quite the work for me but as always, maps get too hectic to build when 3 minutes pass, so you can't build towers anymore. I found that Ancestral Totems also help a lot in keeping enemies out but they sometimes miss their mark.
Generally I would suggest building all of your small towers early on. Its much easier to upgrade towers you have already placed than it is to place new ones. It helped me a lot when playing a melee build!
Just starting to explore my atlas (tier 1 and 2) and I'm surprised to have blights on them, I always get reasonable packs of currencies which are always a big help to me.
I feel as long as you have enough dps the towers and ring anointment become almost if not entirely pointless. I run blighted maps a lot with a cycloner/self curse/ soltice vigil slayer and I basically only build towers at the start then completely forget I even gain points. most builds especially when the maps isn't alched can easily run these without any real difficulty. Then again maybe the video was aimed at those who know very little about the mechanic/poe
My problem with blighted maps is that my pc can't handle it. Too many mobs and my game lags. :') I like the idea. I didn't play blight league because of school but in metamorth I found out that sister Cassia is the best NPC. XD haha I just like how she's just chilling singing and you interrupt her. :D
@@BigDucks I don't have a graphics card either so yeah... :V My gpu died 3 years ago and I ain't got a new one yet. :| Been playing whatever I can only on the integrated graphics.
I only use the scout tower and buff them with the other one and i only fail maps becouse of lagg but thats just my internet who cant keep up😅 but further i havent lost any map
So the black orbs are Frostbolt with the galaxy mtx. I have it on Cast When Damage Taken with Scold's as my helmet. A link to the build is in the description!
this method (3 teal or 3 crimson) is recommended for new players, but not NEARLY as efficient as the following: 1. Take a tier 16 blighted map (promenade has great setups) 2. Hillock it to 35% quality 3. Anoint it with 3 golden oils (yes you read that correctly, it will get explained later) 4. Buy 3 socket resonators, Fractured fossils (110c each), and 2 others I used Dense and Corroded to block out more life mods and elemental mods (no reflect yo). We use these because the resulting map is gonna be mirrored (thus unghangeable), and we dont want undesirable mods on them Use the resonators on the map. It will create a copy every use. It will copy anointment, quality, and mods. Congrats, you just spent 120c every time to get a map that'sworth 375+ c. Note about the golden oils: it makes it so chests have 75% chance for double loot ( 93% if you have awakener level 8). Essentially, nearly double the loot. Even if you bought the initial map for 80c, that with 3 golden oil is gonna be worth at least 150-160c. And you just copied it for 120.
@@pajlatek it seems to me that it is only if there are people doing the similar thing and willing to buy your crap. I don't see mappers spending ~370c for a blight map, I only see people playing blighted maps doing that. And golden oils are for several anointments and the league is almost dead, so good luck. Personally, anointing assassination is easily replaceable with something else much much cheaper, like True Strike.
I dont know if this video had an impact in blighted maps' price but since yesterday they got really expensive. Last week I bought 10 T1 blighted maps for 1 ex and now the people are selling one for 0.5 ex.
10 flying minion towers. Build as many as you can as close to the pump and you win every time.. literally haven't used a single skill when building like this once you hit your 2nd max tower
You need to roll your maps obviously, at least for pack size xd. Of course selling oils and stacked decks gives return, but those are too abyssmal :). There is no point of just running crimson annointed white maps if you can kill sirius in a8 or delve deeper than 300. The towers break the simetry a bit, it rewards players beeing good at the tower defense mechanic so if your build is going nowhere(can't kill sirius, bad a killing legions, can't delve) but you still have some AoE, blighted map is a way to recover over time.
If you're talking about the heirophant sometimes PoB doesnt import the timeless jewel correctly. You need to have the agnostic keystone slotted. I put it in the slot where mind over matter is since the chest provides it
Overall really good, but you really shouldn't ignore minion towers. They're very good at stopping packs and bosses (especially if a lot of portals are resistant to seismic towers) which makes them synergize very well with meteor towers since these can often miss if you're not properly stopping the mobs. (technically you can use glacial cage towers for that, but theyre more expensive and sometimes fail to cast it on the correct targets)
Not sure if you'll see this big ducks- Would be willing to do a video on Mjolner? I love the weapon- it just seems useless. Also, I'm getting the feeling that inquisitors are not that great (which might be due to trying run mjolner on the inquisitor). I do have 2 mjolners, so I have the option to dual-wield, so if you could cover that use case scenario as well, would be appreciated. I'm still an amateur at the game, so that might be my problem as well. Shrugs. This game is complicated. I like it though. :)
blight maps are definately profitable and enjoyable, but I make more running fully juiced up t16s since I have a fast build, also more exp/hr for leveling gems and such
I made a Freezing Pulse Hiero for other reasons and melts Blighted maps with a 5link till... i would say T14. Then, get a fking 6L man (?) No, really, 2EX on fusings to make anything you want a 6L if you already have the colors and base as you like, but moving on. I saw people saying that same thing you said here, that doing them white is the best bet. Is in any official place said that the quantity of a map doesnt affect AT ALL the drops from the cysts? Is an assumption or the results of testing?
I tried this on 7 Blighted maps. Here are the results: MAP 1: lvl 13: WHITE | 3 teal Total income: 102c Map price: 50c *Profit: 52c* MAP2: lvl 13 RARE | 3 teal Total income: 150c Map price: 50c *Profit: 100c* MAP3: lvl 13 RARE| 3 Crimson Total income: 216c Map price: 50c *Profit: 166c* MAP4: lvl 15 WHITE | 3 Crimson Total income: 219c Map price: 65c *Profit: 152c* MAP5: lvl 15 RARE | 3 Crimson Total income: 90c Map price: 65c *Profit: 25c* MAP6: lvl 16 WHITE | 3 Crimson Total income: 103c Map price: 65c *Profit: 38c* Map7: lvl 16 RARE | 3 Crimson Total income: 125c Map price: 65c *Profit: 50c* These results were based on numbers from Excilence (If you dont know, its a great app for measuring profit in POE) I probably made more but excilence doesn't measure everything perfectly. Also forgot to factor the cost the anointments *Conclusions* *White vs Rare* If you struggle go for white, but if you can manage it when you get more confident, transmute and alt a couple of mods you dont mind, then regal it to a sort of low tier rare map. You may as well have the extra quantity and I am not so sure it doesn't affect chests, I dont think its ever been confirmed. *This video* is the best tactics I have seen. I used to go for Fire, meteor for damage, chill for slow, glacial cage last line of defence and golems to be a general pain when I didnt know what else to build. I anointed both my rings with golden oil and followed the guide, this tower strategy definitely feels stronger but its effectiveness can range depending on the luck of tower placements and choke points. In one map I had a choke point and clustered towers that were unpassable. In other maps with open layouts it wasnt possible to get a lot of towers within range of the embue buff. But it still worked out ok. *Profit* I really enjoy blighted maps, I think they are a pretty consistent profit maker, but on the other hand, ignoring the luck factor, I don't really think they make much more profit that spamming juiced up red maps.
Ignore minion towers -> have issues with proximity shields Avoid glacial cages and use meteor tower for bosses only? Glacial cage + Meteor is absolutely busted. Even more so that while chilling slows, glacial completly blocks a path... Such guide.
Well done mate, just one thing; If you really want to show "how its done", don't mute Cassia, especially in short encounters as some ppl might not be aware, because Cassia is telling you "new roots, exile" which means in really short encounters some mobs can reach the core before you can even say "fuck", so don't put this in a tutorial video, really. Aka don't mute, cuz helps a lot. Also not everyone is playing Necro builds, thus making the hint from Cassia even more worthy, and in overwhelming situations helps even more.
I made 5 ex per hour active flipping. I'd say that's easily the fastest farming strategy. The only downside is that you're not leveling and progressing your character.
@@voodooaa I wont tell you the specific item that I flipped but I will tell you the method. First thing you need to do is create a list of market movers. Meaning, a huge quantity being sold and bought throughout the day. Once you find your item list, find the different types of currencies its being sold for and create a comparison using a different currency besides what you bought it for. Now, you make sell orders using that currency and swap that with your initial currency. To give you an example, You can buy ancient orbs right now for roughly 60 chaos per piece You can also buy 7 ancients per 3 exalts. if 1ex is 180 chaos thats roughly 540 chaos for 7. which totals to roughly about 77c (about 17c profit per ancient you buy and 22% return per trade). So if you buy 7 ancients at 60 chaos a piece that totals to only 420c of capital. and you just made 120c once you convert the 3ex back to chaos. And if you're rich enough you can sell your ancient orbs in bulk and gain more profit in the process albeit harder to sell. You can do this with chisels too. You just need to do the research on your item to flip.
When did u start making poe content? I've never seen or heard of you before. Keep up the good work, and BTW is it possible to make a build around obliteration wand in combo with the broken heart chest?
Just recently, still getting into the swing of things. You should be able to combine them, I'm not 100% positive but I don't know that their interactions will really benefit each other that much.
all i do realy is meteor with annoint twice meteor and glacial cages and nothing else, all the mobs get trapped and the meteors clears them all at once 80% or more of the times, the rest is struglers
Blighted maps are bugged asF on Ps4. If you die mid mission rewards disappear, no cysts are spawned, you dont get ANY rewards if you die mid mission. Happened like that, die mid map, go back, find pump destroyed with no cysts or rewards. Imo dumpsterfire of a mechanic
Blighted maps get better the slower your character is imo.. a 3 mirror investment character wont be clearing them much faster than an optimized 50c investment character... so if youre poor and like to play slower, blighted maps might be the best way to farm currency.. however, they arent even close to the currency per hour youll make crushing T16 maps with a speed mapper using HH. Id go as far as to say you wont even make 1/3rd the currency of those people.
Unfortunately this is one thing I wasn't aware of until recently but the singular problem with my strat is that on less powerful computers the seismic tower slam animation can cause massive lag. I suggest using less but higher tier seismic towers or cold towers. Unfortunately it will not be as powerful but you may not lag out.
Good and informative video, but you made some mistakes that i'd like to point out. 1.Upgraded towers deal less dmg to the same kind of monster spawning from said portal, it is even written on the tower itself. 2. Ice prison is really good near the pump to stop enemies from taking life. 3. Transmute + augment + regal maps for more lootaploison at the end. There is a ton of mods that DONT affect the blight encounter and you can easily get these mods with less then 5c investment. 4. The best monny making strategy for blighted maps is actually t16 fractured maps. With 30%quality from hillock in Intervention and tripple golden oil on AwLvl8 you have a 94% chance to get double rewards. Then you copy the map with Fractured + Dense + Corroded/Metallic fossils. This gives you a copied version of the map with 30%q and 3x golden oil.
map price is so high and getting higher as more videos on this are been made ..... well rip blight maps farming . as map price shades any possible profit if we dnt consider lucky high ticket drops . which are possible to drop from any content in the game with same time investment as in blighted map .
Why make another video where u can look Empy video about 144 Blughted mapT14 done. I done 1/4 of his amount and I double my money. But stop doing that because of the map price.
(As long as you can complete the map obviously)
T1-5 maps generate around 27c profit per map on average (recorded sample size 500) [~4c per min not including time to sell items]
T9 maps (opalescent drops here) were around 51c on average (recorded sample size 250) [~7c per min not including time to sell items]
T15 maps (golden & shaper/elder frags drop here) were around 83c profit (recorded sample size 375) [~12c per min not including time to sell items]
The biggest issue is that if you are not running extremely large amounts of these you will not get the bulk required to easily sell consumables (fossils, scarabs, fragments etc).
(Low tier maps on average dropped 3.5 stacked decks each while t15 dropped around 8)
This is essentially controlled gambling since you never really lose over the long term (as each map tier is profitable).
Huge amount of info here, give this guy props!
So what's the best c per hour with a min maxed char?
16:14 "and that's it, it's not that complicated"
Everything in path of exile is complicated
Thanks for the great content and keep it up!
how can you only have so few subscribers, your content is top notch
agreed!
I just started haha, I'm doing my best!
Please make a syndicate mechanic video as I’m still unsure of how the various syndicates interact with each other and when to execute/bargain/interrogate
Definitely something I'll be doing!
Asdayasman this is so helpful! Thank you so much
@@davidmatthew_ Fuck you.
I mean, uh, you're welcome. My bad.
I know that this has nothing to do with any of this. But I really like the big yellow ball pumping while you explain stuff
Saving this video as I am quite interested in farming blight maps as I find the mechanics of them to be amazing. Great video!
Definitely fun once you understand the mechanics!
@@BigDucks yeah it took me a couple run in's with cassia in standard maps to figure out how to even get some of the towers to t4 lol. Really appreciate the breakdown of towers and how/when to chose them.
Only thing I would add is to avoid certain blight maps. Vault map will glitch and have 2 or 3 lanes stuck behind the vault door, meaning you never finish the map and could have some of the nicer pods behind the door.
one of the better if not the best blight map guide out there!

Wow dude! Thanks for the super informative video! I love blighted maps but I didn’t know so many of the stuff you mentioned here! Thanks a ton!
Easily my fav poe content creator, keep up the grind and thx for providing different takes on the game. Legit gonna put this video to use tomorrow after a long week.
Let me know how it goes!
great guide, I love running blighted maps in my first league, and I found skeletons extremely useful using splash damage, they run and kill entire lines of enemies
I agree! I had really positive results in blight league with SRS since they did the same!
The guide's REALLY Good! Thanks a lot for these guides man!
I'm a veteran PoE player and enjoyed Blight a lot, but man, props to you. I really didn't realize that the T4 towers will ignore the mobs immunity thingy. Ty!
It wont.
This is probably a good idea! Easy to invest in getting some easy mods!
Sorry a noob here but do you mean you run blighted T15+ maps as magic and still found it as good?
I really like this focused and well-planned content. I am 700+ hours in and still learned a ton from this guide. Keep up the good work!
1:52 or go to the config file and put False value in the voice sound like and get some more FPS
Really liked Blight after PC upgrade, sadly it was after aforementioned league :
I've tried it and it really works wonders!
I've heard about this! I considered it but I unfortunately dialogue is useful for lots of fights haha
To me didn't work out that well since my specs are already mediocre at best. And I agree with Ducks, having the audio cue saved me more times than i can count. And it's just horrible to play something with no audio whatsoever. (I already have the music and ambient sound off)
Dialogue is really really important in sirus fight too, I was talking about setting the false value on music and ambient sounds, while my loot filter is cranked all the way up
Another tip not mentioned. Awakened8 boost anoints too. So for example 9 lucky chests turn into 11 etc etc.
This is something I was not aware of!
Wow now this is a pro tip
Nice info :3
This is why technically, gold oils are better investment since at al8 they'll be 93% to drop additional rewards. As long as you can maintain them.
I hope a lot of people see it.
just did my first one, two exalted drop! plus the rest of things am sorting now
Also if you run low lvl blighted maps and you have time on your hands, if you set up your itemfilter for chaos recipee, youll get arround 20+ chaos just doing that from one map. Its a bit tedious to do, but with dump tabs it can be fairly efficient
egomans007 interesting. Pretty good idea for league start next league.
Im binge watching your videos and these are great :D
now that's a good guide, pity u dont have high sub number, keep up the good work ! :)
Thanks for information, will try next league farming Blight :)
nice video, i really like the style, you make the videos. Keep on
so i am guessing in hiest that blighted maps are not worth seeing as you get way more of everything in them then blighted maps?
"INSANE PROFITS!"
1c on screen
I'd even go as far as saying any decent build can do it (ie properly optimized, not necessarily investment-wise). I don't agree on everything you've said about towers, but that's the beauty of the system. Different strokes for different folks. I'd also say that my choice on tower does often revolve around the strengths of my build (ie am I lacking clear or single target) AND what the bosses in the map will be resistant against.
Some extra notes on towers:
-Sentinel Towers can be invaluable as they actually stop waves and bosses for a good few seconds + they are more reliable than glacial cage towers for that purpose alone.
At 10:18 does anyone know if a flicker strike build would work?
great video !
Awsome video !! Thanks
Dude...GREAT content!
Ty!
Thanks for the love!
Whats the program you use to actually see the PoB from the pastbin or github
Thanks man this helped. I was alching maps and lost a few 😕
On other note really well made video
My problem with blighted maps is that my pc can't handle it. Too many mobs and my game lags. :') I like the idea. I didn't play blight league because of school but in metamorth I found out that sister Cassia is the best NPC. XD haha I just like how she's just chilling singing and you interrupt her. :D
Yeah unfortunately seismic towers are the culprit here!
@@BigDucks I don't have a graphics card either so yeah... :V My gpu died 3 years ago and I ain't got a new one yet. :| Been playing whatever I can only on the integrated graphics.

Thanks for thjose tipps!
But one question, what build is in this video with those dark bubbles?
Your flasks seem to be on Auto. how do you do this?
awesome guide thanks
scout tower is one of the best for dmg towers.
The smothering tower is actually insanely powerful, especially when you combine it with a buff tower.
Great Video Thank you!
I only use the scout tower and buff them with the other one and i only fail maps becouse of lagg but thats just my internet who cant keep up😅 but further i havent lost any map
Hey what’s the skill used to make those 6 black orbs shoot out?
So the black orbs are Frostbolt with the galaxy mtx. I have it on Cast When Damage Taken with Scold's as my helmet. A link to the build is in the description!
this method (3 teal or 3 crimson) is recommended for new players, but not NEARLY as efficient as the following:
1. Take a tier 16 blighted map (promenade has great setups)
2. Hillock it to 35% quality
3. Anoint it with 3 golden oils (yes you read that correctly, it will get explained later)
4. Buy 3 socket resonators, Fractured fossils (110c each), and 2 others I used Dense and Corroded to block out more life mods and elemental mods (no reflect yo). We use these because the resulting map is gonna be mirrored (thus unghangeable), and we dont want undesirable mods on them
Use the resonators on the map.
And you just copied it for 120.
ssshhhhh
The profit from such map is over 150-160 C per such map?
@@pajlatek it seems to me that it is only if there are people doing the similar thing and willing to buy your crap. I don't see mappers spending ~370c for a blight map, I only see people playing blighted maps doing that. And golden oils are for several anointments and the league is almost dead, so good luck. Personally, anointing assassination is easily replaceable with something else much much cheaper, like True Strike.
@@pajlatek usually more
@@Ludak021 obviously you run the maps that you created, not sell them lmao
dose duelist cyclone build work?
10/10 content. Great explaination. Only change id suggest is change up the creepy serial killer music in the background.
Jozia Sr What tier maps though?
Is this guide still up to date in Heist (just started playing)
Yes
You need to roll your maps obviously, at least for pack size xd. Of course selling oils and stacked decks gives return, but those are too abyssmal :). There is no point of just running crimson annointed white maps if you can kill sirius in a8 or delve deeper than 300. The towers break the simetry a bit, it rewards players beeing good at the tower defense mechanic so if your build is going nowhere(can't kill sirius, bad a killing legions, can't delve) but you still have some AoE, blighted map is a way to recover over time.
So I tried your pastebin and it clears well but I’m killing myself... am I missing something?
If you're talking about the heirophant sometimes PoB doesnt import the timeless jewel correctly. You need to have the agnostic keystone slotted. I put it in the slot where mind over matter is since the chest provides it
Big Ducks thanks for taking the time to respond! That will make it much easier! Thanks again!
Is an assumption or the results of testing?
it doesn't. It only affects the drops from the initial completion.
That music background... was like do I have Poe still on...
OMG, I'm so confused. Still new and glad I didn't waste the blight maps I have because I would have gotten rolled.
I tried this on 7 Blighted maps. Here are the results:
MAP 1: lvl 13: WHITE | 3 teal
Total income: 102c
Map price: 50c
*Profit: 52c*
MAP2: lvl 13 RARE | 3 teal

*Profit: 100c*
MAP3: lvl 13 RARE| 3 Crimson
Total income: 216c
Map price: 50c
*Profit: 166c*
MAP4: lvl 15 WHITE | 3 Crimson
Total income: 219c
Map price: 65c
*Profit: 152c*
MAP5: lvl 15 RARE | 3 Crimson
Total income: 90c
Map price: 65c

Map price: 65c
*Profit: 38c*
Map7: lvl 16 RARE | 3 Crimson
Total income: 125c
Map price: 65c
*Profit: 50c*
These results were based on numbers from Excilence (If you dont know, its a great app for measuring profit in POE)
I probably made more but excilence doesn't measure everything perfectly. Also forgot to factor the cost the anointments
*Conclusions*
*White vs Rare*
If you struggle go for white, but if you can manage it when you get more confident, transmute and alt a couple of mods you dont mind, then regal it to a sort of low tier rare map.
*Profit*
I really enjoy blighted maps, I think they are a pretty consistent profit maker, but on the other hand, ignoring the luck factor, I don't really think they make much more profit that spamming juiced up red maps.
Ignore minion towers -> have issues with proximity shields
Avoid glacial cages and use meteor tower for bosses only?
Do you have a skype or a discord? I'd really like to learn how to do this strategy.
Strongly disagree with your take on the minion towers. I clear every single t14-16 map with only chilling cage and scout towers.
keep going
Thanks for the video big d
DELETEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, blighted map prices gone up AGAIN
@@nguyenthebao4028 nah league pretty dead
Huh. I thought the icons on the bottom meant what elements the mobs are, not what they're weak to
it's what they are immune to
When did u start making poe content? I've never seen or heard of you before.
Keep up the good work, and BTW is it possible to make a build around obliteration wand in combo with the broken heart chest?
Just recently, still getting into the swing of things.
You should be able to combine them, I'm not 100% positive but I don't know that their interactions will really benefit each other that much.
ran 10 maps totally worth it.
all i do realy is meteor with annoint twice meteor and glacial cages and nothing else, all the mobs get trapped and the meteors clears them all at once 80% or more of the times, the rest is struglers
Easiest Blight maps:
Hierophant arc build
Looots of Ice cage towers
Wait till done
The best is summoner build cuz is 100% AFK
Nice.
man, do more shit. You're one of very few who know how to talk, don't have moronic sentences and still manage to keep it clear and grounded. Thanks.
I'm trying. Takes a lot of work
Blighted maps are bugged asF on Ps4. If you die mid mission rewards disappear, no cysts are spawned, you dont get ANY rewards if you die mid mission. Happened like that, die mid map, go back, find pump destroyed with no cysts or rewards. Imo dumpsterfire of a mechanic
It's the same on PC. If you die, you don't get anything. Don't die.
Good video but the music was too loud
and here I am tossing amber oils on them to reduce tower cost
Blighted maps get better the slower your character is imo.. a 3 mirror investment character wont be clearing them much faster than an optimized 50c investment character... so if youre poor and like to play slower, blighted maps might be the best way to farm currency.. however, they arent even close to the currency per hour youll make crushing T16 maps with a speed mapper using HH. Id go as far as to say you wont even make 1/3rd the currency of those people.
Cassia made me feel insecure if i failed a pump :(
Well i cant run blighted maps cuz my fps drops to fucking 10 whem there tons of monsters
Blight league was my all-time favorite after Delve... I must be the only one ranking it that high. :D
map price is so high and getting higher as more videos on this are been made ..... well rip blight maps farming . as map price shades any possible profit if we dnt consider lucky high ticket drops . which are possible to drop from any content in the game with same time investment as in blighted map .
For having a viable statistics you need at least 1000.
Why make another video where u can look Empy video about 144 Blughted mapT14 done. I done 1/4 of his amount and I double my money. But stop doing that because of the map price.
Why do I feel like blighted maps are going to be expensive now
