Sorry about the wind noise! My visor won’t lock close due to my GoPro mount and I was also fighting a 17mph wind. New mount has been ordered so I should be able to close my visor and cut down the wind noise in the coming videos. Thanks for watching!
awesome bro, i just bought my wife her dream bike which is the same one as yours, The guy put a fresh paint job and alot of work in the bike with all receipts, Bought it for 5k with 23k miles in NC
❤ Its a dream come true bro! Ive owned quite a few bikes over the yrs and my 600RR was definitely one of my favorites. Its a beauty! I suggest dropping a tooth on the front sproket and a 520 conversion when its time to change the sprockets. It makes the power delivery perfect on the road. Youll notice a huge difference
I agree with you. These cbrs are definitely a beast. My first one was in 2013 and it was a 05 cbr sold it while in the military. Then found a 2006 cbr last year and currently just did the valve replacement, tires, and new fairings. Love these bikes, just the smoothness of it and to be nearly 20 years old is just speechless. And I could afford a newer one but the older models make you really develop skill development better.
Nice one man! That was always my dream bike too! I got mine almost 9 years ago. Bought it from a military guy who laid it down and wanted nothing to do with it anymore. Only had 14K on it. Fixed it up and put on the exact same Repsol kit you have. Closing in on 35K without issue. It's awesome to see such a similar bike! Enjoy, and congrats!
Mines done 51k miles and I thrash the shit out of it on backroads. Needs valves doings but shes a weapon. When I upgrade to a 1000 shes getting pickled and chucked on a paddock stand so I can look at it all the time
@@DarkKnight-eh3ds yes. Look at the prices of 250-400cc four cylinder screamers. VFRs are going for 30k minimum. Manufacturers are shying away from making inline 4s and v4s, because they’re expensive and today’s average riders want torque. Just like 6 cylinders, 4 cylinders will be a relic of the past that hardcore bikers (not Harley folks) will sell their kidneys to buy one
No these won't. The f4i was built better and will last as long or probably longer. I own a VFR 800 (2004) and the prices are dropping hard. Two years ago prices for a VFR were 5,000-8000, now you see them for 3000-5000.
Nice video Love that CBR 600RR - Great Paint Scheme. You just cannot beat a Honda CBR 600RR for the streets - to me it is the sweet spot for sports bikes.
@@TicklerNick - Now that you have a 600 and can get places, get your butt down here and hit the fun roads with me. Up there you've got flat, straight roads. Down here we've got hills and corners.

24k aint even that bad btw, i ran that 600rr up to like 34k then sold it for almost the same i bought it for. Still pulled hard just dripped a little oil.
Loved watching this, and I'm very happy for you. I had a 2006 cbr 600 rr in orange color with black tiger stripes and oh my, I loved every moment of ownership. Eventually sold it 3 years later as I moved far away. Safe riding to you friend and enjoy!
I literally just bought one of these 2006 CBR 600rr a few hours ago. Needs a little TLC but it's not very far off from being really nice. It's the red and black decal color scheme which I have always been a fan of.
Nice bike! I’m picking up a 03 600rr with 20k miles a full D&D exhaust and tune for 4,200 the fairings have some cracks and the white color is yellowing but fairings are an easy replacement , the bikes runs good and was taken care of mechanically so I’m happy
I to ride a 2006 Repsol CBR600RR just a different variant of the repsol. Love it man looks clean. This reminded me of why I probably will never sell mine.
10:50 600s are more power THAN YOU NEED ON THE STREET, not more than you’ll ever use. But I do agree that’s it’s plenty for the street I love my 15 600RR
A bit under 4k, I’ve seen that body style 636 popping up in my area around the same price but I prefer the 03-06 and 2013+ for the kawi. Nice buy though!
I love the 600 RR and the price for the older ones are crazy good but I'll never buy a bike without abs again. You can pretend all you want but I swear to God 99% of people won't outbrake ABS but more importantly won't brake properly in an unexpected shock Moment without abs. there are way too many of them to get that expensive. They rather just drop in price since the market is flooded with them.
