@@damansingh6279 Bro I don't know. I just downloaded update from windows update and it installed without any problems. It took like 1 hour, but Im not updating yet, because Microsoft didn't fix the problem. I waited like 10 minutes on 94%.
Same problem here (Lenovo Z50-70). Also stuck at 61%. Restart is ok, nothing bad happen. It will "clean" windows update search. Shut down and turning PC on again won´t "clean" windows update window.
Hello, thank you for your window update video. Unfortunately, being old and apparently dumb, I'm having trouble following your instructions. Is it possible to make another one with step-by-step directions. With just how to do what you’re saying
Thanks for commenting! Happy to help if you could let me know which specific point you are stuck on, I can post a detailed reply. But, honestly, if you are having trouble I would strongly recommend you do not try, and wait for Windows to update in due course (if it goes wrong you may have a major problem).
Hello Papoo Tech, thank you so much for this. Mine is exacly 7.231.4.0. How do I force the update? Simply download Microsofts Updater Assistant? My Laptop is Asus Vivobook X510URR if it matters.
Hi, thanks for the comment. Basically go to the Microsoft update page, link in the comments above, and click Update Now... Takes a little bit of time. Good luck!.
@Magas Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately your driver is included by Microsoft as not for updating... The affected driver will be named Conexant HDAudio Driver under Sound, video and game controllers in Device Manager and have versions 8.65.47.53, 8.65.56.51, or 8.66.0.0 through 8.66.89.00 for chdrt64.sys or chdrt32.sys.
Good morning Papoo tech, thank you for your reply, I think you might be right, I usually make things worse but I like to try and fix it myself. It’s a Lenovo laptop that I only use for banking and booking holidays, so I don’t need sound at all. Is it possible to delete the sound bit in order to update ?
It is, as ever with Windows, a bit more difficult than deleting the sound. But honestly, I think it is a poor bargain to exchange sound for an update that, by the sound (ha!) of it, you don't really need. As the adage goes, if it ain't broken...
What if after updating it, it stopped working. What do i do?

Hey bro i have the same laptop and it stucks at 61% too any help?
Unless you can update the driver to a newer version, Microsoft does not recommend you update at this point.
