    Even though Singular Point and its novelization suggest that Godzilla is an otherworldly being with the ability to manipulate reality, Godzilla behaves much like any other iteration of the character. It would have been more satisfying to see these reality-bending powers in action rather than relying on exposition to explain them.

      He does bend reality though? He completely changes the entire timeline to stop SHIVA from changing the future.

      Thats because the godzilla we see its only like a reflection of the true godzilla located in a higher dimension. You can understand this through BB explanation.

    • @spooker_0
      @spooker_0 4 дня назад +1

      I don't think what we see is what this version of Godzilla truly looks like since it's supposed to be a multidimensional or higher dimensional being, so what we see physically moving around is much more like a vessel and all of the reality bending it does isn't super obvious like a power you see coming out of its body. That's why it's been killed before and still came back with a brand new body.

    I was trying to pinpoint what the vibe was I got from this show that would most easily describe it.
    And after like a week I've got it nailed down.
    It's like Stein's Gate mashed up with a Godzilla story.
    As someone who likes BOTH of those things, I enjoyed it.
    But I also knew for a fact that for anyone who doesn't care much for Sci fi stories that try to go TOO HARD on the science it was gonna fall flat. 😂
    And I feel like thats about how this story clocks. You either like Sci fi nonsense and eccentric character driven stories with enough dialog to result in the exhaustion death of 4 closed captioners, or this is NOT the Godzilla story you were looking for.
    There is NO in between.

    Recently finished the series and I've ought to say, it's a polarizing one. I've read a bit of the comment section and some like or don't mind it and while others seem to despise it, and that's understandable I'd say. While I was someone that enjoyed the watch and was kept interested through the episodes, I can see why a decent number of fans wouldn't like it because of all the science talk that requires unfathomable amounts of brain wrinkles to understand, and also the lack of Godzilla in the show can definitely be disappointing, same with generally not fully fleshed out characters.
    But I still think this show is kind of a case by case basis, that some may really like and some may really won't. I've seen a lot say it's a waste of time and such but I think it's still worth a shot if someone's really interested can always drop out midway if one really doesn't like it. Although, it's definitely not a starting point to get into Godzilla less it be someone who likes the type of show G:SP is. A think a lot while you watch type of show. Still, had a pretty nice time watching it. Also cool video.

    This show was incredible but confusing??? I'll explain so i had to watch it for a couple of times to fully understand , it ALL MAKES SENSE trust me , first, its not boring in my opinion i think you dont like to use brainpower because the beginning has full of thrilling questions that was later on answered and the show/series is amazing , jet jaguar was awesome fighting the rodan/pterodactyl and the old guy piloting jet was funny . Btw its my opinion about the show its not necessarily solid so you need to watch it yourself 😁

    • @IAMINSIDEYOURWALLS604
      @IAMINSIDEYOURWALLS604 3 месяца назад +1

      Except when was Godzilla mindless in singular point? We see him adapt to things by himself unlike shin who does it instinctually. He actively kills himself so he can force his body to evolve to his second stage. It's even stated that Godzilla killed himself and crystallised.
      We see when Godzilla starts getting attacked he gets pissed off, when Jet jaguar stops him from killing Yun, we get a close shot in his eyes clearly infuriated and charges towards jet jaguar.
      He also is not rampaging through Tokyo for no reason it's explained that the more singular points that are near him the stronger he is able to get, he is in the middle of Tokyo and singular points like Manda get close trying to kill him he is attracting the singular points so he can make himself stronger.
