To those who don't know Gamera started as a villain in two movies Gamera 1965 and Gamera vs Barugon. After those movies he became a hero. I suggest people should watch the 90s trilogy, Gamera the brave and Gamera rebirth. Those are amazing. The Showa era starts off solid but after the fourth movie the franchise got either lazy with stock footage or giving us some annoying kenniese to follow.

@Funnyman99999 did you forget the Go Go Godzilla power slide kick? Godzilla has some whacky moments throughout his movies and comics. Running fast is not nearly out of the realm of possibility for him.
I was introduced to Gamera through PSOne game entitled "Gamera 2000". I saw nowhere it's found on TV other than Godzilla since Godzilla was apparently more popular than Gamera. The last time I remembered watching the movies was around 2000 or so.
They're gonna need to firstly have him in another movie to establish his abilities(or most to let room for surprise) so it wont feel like bullshyte every time the new monster just gets new abilities just cuz it needs them Besides i dont think they'd be enemies without an external intruder reason

From some of the story's, we haven't seen GAMERA at his full maturity, meaning, he could be bigger and stronger than the others, rhey tend to kill him off after the final battle and start with a baby all over again. I would love to see GAMERA at full maturity.

I always liked Gamera. Unfortunately, the number of movies is abysmal in comparison to Godzilla. I thought the reboot of Gamera was amazing in the 1990s, and I had hoped for more. I eventually saw the movie afterward but had no English dub version, and I had to read the subtitles. I think that is why despite the great reviews of the Godzilla minus one film out, I can't watch a film in subtitles. Thanks for the information on his animation on Netflix. It would be awesome to see him in the monsterverse, but if he is still owned by a different company, it might not happen. I have had in my mind a Gamera vs. Godzilla film for years now, possibly 2 film's worth.
Gamera's mortal enemy's name is pronounced Guy - ohs. I have the complete Gamera Legacy box set and Gamers the Brave. Nothing was ever mentioned about Atlantis in Guardian. The third movie the highly evolved Guy - ohs called (pronounced Ear - Ris) Iris. Did you actually see all the movies, or just read a script to clips?
Dude. Gyaos. Its literally said how its spelled. One syllable. Like "Geeouse" You're still right tho, this guys saying 3 syllables. Its like nails on chalkboard. The only reason its 2 syllables in Japan is because "osu" is one sound over there, so you get "Gee-osu" with the "u" as a second syllable. But saying that with a western tongue is like pronouncing the u in "Sasuke".
