For some reason we really like this character. He seems as a tough ass jedi master although at the same time very caring in his own way. Plus we really love the lines they gave him like the irritated angry way he says "the door controls" or "padawan your lightsaber". We also really loved Jedi Fallen Order as we had zero expectations for it because it's disney crap we're dealing with. We definitely accept it into our head canon as it's "clean" storytelling and fits in perfectly.
Thanks to youtube we are moving to other platforms so if you want to continue following us, you can here on these links bellow. There we will also be tackling some videos that RUclips doesn't allow here because it's not PC garbage.

Can you make one of how powerful was Mace Windu or Yoda or even Anakin Skywalker
The Scoundrel's Cantina #beastcon please sub your my favorite
I think if he was in the prequels, he would be as powerful as Mace Windu if not stronger.
Why do you guys say Disney crap Lucasfilm is in charge of star wars still
@@dirtyracoon56 because it's because of disney since they took over. It's disney why everythings actually going to hell.
I wanna see a game where you play as a Jedi General in the clone wars and eventually get to order 66
That’s a great idea. They can create one that survived and retcon him by saying he was one of the Jedi that Vader hunted down and slaughtered
Quilan vos?
Yeah a clone wars game with huge scale battles and u can control ur only clone army
L_LKoolKid no need to say that Vader slaughtered him. There were plenty of Jedi that went into hiding and survived.
Cash Liermo ikr, I loved the Fallen Order gameplay but I’d love to see a new clone wars game
Jedi fallen order is the true successor to the clone wars
In a way yeah ;) although even due to it's kid friendly format, Rebels does an overall very good story and continuation as well and Rogue One of course as well.
@@TheScoundrelsCantina definitely. Keep up the good work and I hope for more Jedi fallen order videos in the future
The Scoundrel's Cantina it’s an unpopular opinion but I though rebels was the rebellion at its peak its childish when it starts but later it gets serious and even very sad
@@Oddity0 in a way it can be seen as essentially growing with Ezra in terms of his attitude towards what he's doing in general.
Episode 3 is the True successor even though its not that good lol, Fallen order would be post successor to episode 3
I gotta admit I like the lightsaber flick he did to the clone.
Extremely satisfying 😂😂😂
Tapol:Remember Cal your not Rey if u want power u must put in the work
Amen
Yes
Kal - Yes master..
Alex Felix Goddamn sad dude,i feel it.
Alex Felix
Exactly, no Gary Stu powers, like how Ret has her Mary Sue powers.
Aren’t the lasat relatively rare as a species? If so that makes him even more special being a Jedi and all.
Before this lasat were flourishing, it was during the start of the empire is when they were wiped out
@@test-km4kn they were wiped out but remember in rebels they found a planet with lasats on it in season 1 or 2 i think
@@Mkdjwj Yup the original homeworld
Also wookie Jedi were also rare
They were wiped out by the empire so they were quite prominent beofre
Jedi Fallen Order truly invigorated my love of Star Wars. It respected every generation, told a story with strong themes (trauma) and had wonderful characters.
I genuinely hope they make a sequel to fine tune some of the gameplay issues.
Me too. Damn good game yet sad at the same time. Luckily expansions are coming
@@Godisinkontrol expansions are coming?! where did you hear that? I never heard of that
@@drooskie9525 it's EA. Everyone thinks they'll make DLC for that reason alone, even though most interviews with the dev team said otherwise.
LordNul1 although I hate micro transactions, I really hope this game gets DLC. I wish it had more replay value because I was so sad when I finished it
@@trafficcone7344 well from what I heard, they're legit just doing a sequel instead of DLC. Which coming from EA (at the time of writhing this) is pretty rare.
That said, I did manage to... "Create" some replay value through shenanigans and by going after things in a different order, picking a different color/design for a given cutscene and so forth. Months later I still haven't gotten every travel dialogue between Greez, Cere and Merrin (as in the random conversations that come up during travel between planets), with the exception of the "first time you go there and other required visits" so at least there's some pretty thought out information on your companions.
Although I think it would have been cool if you could revisit the arena (and thus rocked out to Black Thunder some more) or gotten to see more of Bracca.
Master Tapal made it all look so effortless. Even in the end. That I wish there was more on him.
Same thing with Cere when she took down those Purge Troopers in the final level of the game. Shows that Cal still has a lot to learn.
Well of course. Jaro was a Jedi Master after all, and it is possible the devs agreed with an old criticism people had with RotS about how so many strong Jedi went down so easily.
dont forget that most jedi were tired and occupied with the battles and distracted that made them go down easy. yoda did said that the clone wars the perfect jedi trap. tapal was on ship with not much doing and cere was also on rest.
Darth Maul: I’m the coolest person that has a double-sided lightsaber
Jaro Tapal: *Hold my lightsaber*
Jaro Tapal had a pretty cool design going for him, not many stories of him to tell considering once he had taken Cal as his apprentice they spent most of their time orbiting bracca in the Clone wars, and then once they were finally moving out for Mygeeto that’s when the “New Orders” were given, resulting in a tragic scene from the eyes of a frightened and confused Cal.
We need a lot more Order 66 survivor stories because they are the most entertaining stories aside from, and not all of them would have to have a happy ending.
They're too repetitive, would be cool to have something like that but as an inquisiter
Brandon White maybe towards the point in time Inquisitors were dying out, after all we never once encounter them in the Original trilogy, so following an inquisitor at that point in time would be interesting.
Ngl I love his clothes I just think it’s the right amount of clone armor and robes
AquaRaven4266 yeah seems like he was the only Jedi who still wore Clone armor around the time of Order 66
Because as we see in Season 7 of clone wars, Jedi like Anakin, Obi-Wan and Mace Windu have Retired the Armor for just Robes.
in fallen order there's a lot of hidden lore and references to the moments after order 66, find the broken venetor on zeffo.
I was thinking about that jedi from the recent state wars game. Truly a character worth more development. Shout out scoundrel. Gods on our side
state wars game?
@@Dyllan_nt Sound like a Clash of Clan like mobile game tho 🤣
@@lesgrosgainz your point?
@@Dyllan_nt ? There's no real point beside the fact that "state wars" looks like a mobile game. Pretty sure it's as much of a point as your comment is, don't know what you didn't get 🤣. What was the point of writting : "state wars game?" while everyone knew it was a typo? Nvm lmao
I hope they’ll expand on Master Tapal’s story
They won’t
@@ownthevoid How do you know?
I would like to see a sequel to the Fallen Order when the Mantis crew meets up the Spectres. I would also love to see Kal's reaction to Zeb
@@isaackim7675 master ?
I am so glad someone is finally talking about him. Thank you. I really liked Zeb in Rebels, so when I saw this guy in the game I was blown away.
Jaro Tapal was such a badass Jedi Master in Jedi Fallen Order 😁. The Order 66 part was such a heartbreaking moment in the game .
Liked this chatacter, too.
Really liked his Lightsaber, as well.
Enjoyed watching this.
Jedi Fallen Order was where I came across the Lasat species for the first time.
I love how Jaro Tapal didn't have much screentime but you're emotionally connected with him as the story progresses.
I Love Jaro Tapal as a character, when I first saw him while playing Fallen Order I loved him as a character and wanted to know everything about him
I actually want a clone war DLC to see Topal in action more and the way he fights.
I thought it was super cool how Jaro had the same style Jedi outfit as Anakin in the early seasons of the Clone Wars, I've always liked that outfit
I would love if they made another Star Wars Jedi game where we got to play Jaro Tapal, and learn more about him and his story.
He kinda looks like Thanos if you look at him from behind lol
Maybe if Thanos had facial hair and was merely baldING and not completely bald.
It would be cool to see him show up in the new season of clone wars.
I really want to see more of Jaro Tapal
This game help me clean my eyes after the Rise of Skywalker.
And the game still isnt perfect.
@@ГарикСтепанян-у4п Well neither is really any game that has ever existed.
ROS was a good star wars movie shut up
@Dwarf in a box It’s called an opinion dude. Get over yourself
@@Dyllan_nt .....no it wasn't.
This was a really cool Jedi! Definitely one of my favorite
I personally love the design of Jaro's lightsaber. It has to be one of favorite lightsaber designs out there. Though I personally think it looks cooler as a single blade, it still looks nice as a double bladder lightsaber.
I'm not entirely sure that was Jaro's force ghost but some weird dark vision. Because he was saying things that I don't think Jaro ever thought like that part about Cal being weak and a coward.
Definitely not a force Ghost, only really Qui Gon Jin got that power before the clone wars ended, and even then he didn't perfect like obi wan, yoda, or Anakin did.
Honestly it never clicked in my head that Master Tapal was a Lasat and I'm beating myself up for it
"Ugh, Padawan! Your lightsaber!!!" Man I felt that part
2:42
Ah yes, a truly powerful ability, the Force Hairflick.
How did his lightsaber brake I'm so confused did it get cut in half by the escape pod doors?
3:42 the troopers shot it in half
@@zanenevada7327 thank you
Why he doesn’t use force push or something is beside me
When jedi fight sometimes they forgot to use their force
@@baconninja4481 to use the force you need to use a lot of concentration but that is hard when you are being shot
This character grew very much on me, his philosphy of the force reminds me quite of qui gon jinn. Seeing the force as one neither Dark nor Light
Jaro Tapal is such a great character
I luv Star Wars
Jaro tapal wasn't the only last known jedi. We have to remember that in force unleashed there were other jedi that were being hunted and that ocurred way later after order 66. This cinematic occurred as order 66 was being fulfilled. So what in the world are we talking about here?
Not last, Lasat
I actually love this guy he is like a perfect role model for all people and it’s interesting to see Cal’s and his relationship in the game, it really gives us more depth to Cal’s character
I would consider Jedi: The Fallen Order and Rebels (and its associated materials) to have happened in the Legends continuity in my headcanon, cause most of them events could fit nicely between the time gap of the movies, and the comics alike. :)
Completely agree and we would also add Rogue One to that as well!
The order 66 scene was amazing
A Jedi Master, voiced by Travis Willingham? Oh yeah! One of my favorites that I hope we get more info about eventually.
I just referred to him as Thanos Jedi...
I love order 66 my favorite scene in the saga is order 66.
Dark.
Ok Sith
"sir, it's time to leave"
Its the saddest part.
Wow
I would love to see a clone wars game of this quality.
In the Star Wars rebels series there was a droid general that said that the lasats did not take part in the clone wars , I was confused at first when I saw the Jedi master was a lasats and then I thought maybe the droid meant that the entire lasat race and home world but maybe because only one race of lasat took part in it , it didn’t mean that the entire lasat species took part in the clone war
Just because there's a Jedi of a certain race/species doesn't mean that their people were. Example: most of the Mundi race do nothing outside of their home planet thus they didn't do much in the war. So what the Droid said was true... From a certain point of view. ;)
al qu I know that already like I said “ I was confused at first “
@@be6386 sorry man, didn't read the whole thing, my bad. :D
al qu dude I don’t wanna be that guy but dude 😑
@@be6386 eh heh heh...
Dunno I fee like he went down pretty easily and he’s sabre swings are so slow
Joe Jackson he had to unfortunately since it wouldn’t make sense in the original trilogy if jedi were still alive i wish he was still alive for a little longer before dying
Professor Games I actually think that it’s due to his large size and how he needs to use double bladed instead of 1 cause I believe that although double blades lightsabers are great I feel as though they were used primarily for speedy agile small sith or Jedi but since he was given one that limited his overall power cause he would have to be more cautious around himself and others and when deflecting or attacking’ the double bladed lightsaber limit him for his safety.
There's gotta be a story where both master AND padawan escape order 66 together
Edit: I just really wish Cal could have escaped WITH Jaro
I never realized that Jro Tupal was a Lasat. Now that I do I'm calling him Jedi Monkey because I call Zeb monkey
The fallen order was a pretty decent game. I have a few minor complaints but nothing game breaking for me. And for some reason Vader’s appearance was the sickest cameo I’ve ever seen. I love how they say nothing about him the entire game, and then you hear his respirator and a saber ignited through the inquisitors chest. Then the music on top of it....chills. Plus he was freaking huge man. My only complaint is that the story had to end.
This game is amazing 👌🙌 just wish it was longer
What annoyed me was he probably could have easily survived
A wise and noble master. Very sad that we did not get more of him
Still find it weird since kalani said lasat where not a species that participated in the clone wars, but oh well I guess.
Proverbs 3:5-6 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. May the Force be with You
Amen
That lightsaber throw is STILL the sickest move ever. I used the hell out of it Force unleashed 1 & 2😁
I want a Star Wars game and we play as Jaro Tapal or maybe we can play as Plo Koon during the Clone Wars.
I'm glad that they put like a Jedi the specie Lasat it means that Cal will meets little Ezra in the sequel Jedi Survivor and after return of Jedi Ezra will realize that Jaro Tapal was a Lasat like his friend Zeb and he realize too that Cal have a hybrid Nightsister human daughter have it with Merrin and so Ezra will talks with Ahsoka, Qi'ra, Bo-Katan, Sabine, Ursa, Rex and Hondo. Because in the series Ahsoka we will see Cal and Merrin's daughter played by Ivana Sakhno and the series Ahsoka will also show us the remorse of Ezra that he learn that Darth Vader was Anakin that Thrawn told him after the Liberation of Lothal 9 years ago
I just realised why does he have the old Jedi amour because after Ashoka departure everyone went back to robes
My guy smoked that clone without even looking, so badass
What was that thing Cal did at 3:57 ? I've never seen it used before
Scynriou it’s called “force slow”
It’s a new ability introduced in fallen order, basically stops time in a way by using the force and slowing... down.. the person
Unoriginal Content Cool, thx for the info. 👍
Unoriginal Content is it unique to cal?
@@Cho0segoose I don't think so, I think it's just a rare force ability
@@tps_sp Kylo does it in the force awakens tho
it pains me that we only got so little of Master Tapal. He was so damn cool.
A fun fact about fallen order is that I just got the preorder bonus stuff but I know for a fact that I did not preorder it
That's because a free update pretty much made it no longer a limited time thing.
Which begs the question of if EA is actually learning.
He has the coolest lightsaber emitter by far
Smiles: ive been looking forward to this
Jaro Tapal is the master that Anakin needed next to Qui Gon. Strict, disciplined but fair if he studied under Tapal he might have prevented Order 66.
Not likely
Anakin would’ve needed a father figure like qui gon
Obi wan was also strict but not what an anakin needed. He needed someone for emotional support
If only he channeled the power of his voice actor Travis Willingham and used the powers of Roy Mustang to hold off the clones he might of survived now he will eternally hear it from Hawkeye
Yeah, I was utterly shocked to learn it was Travis who voiced Jaro, like I didn't even recognise his voice the first few times.
I would love to see an alternative timeline where Tapal survives with Cal and they escape bracca together
He wasn’t a force ghost he was just a vision like when Luke met Vader on dagonah
I feel like he should have been the one to knight him during the force ghost duel
He did
Instant sub. Great video! Jaro was amazing.
Love your videos! And your complains about disney and how they manage star wars (mainly movies and video games) are completely right and I personaly don't understand the people that liked the sequel trilogy. They can. I do not juge them for this. I just don't understand how can someone say thanks when disney is shitting on them.
I would really love to learn what lightsaber form Tapal used and taught Cal. Cal seems more skilled in Ataru as far as i’ve seen.
At least from my perspective, he seems to be using form 6 (the amalgamation form of all the previous ones) as he’s just working on the fly without having trained with a lightsaber in years. Blocking, attacking, deflecting, and all his acrobatics seemed to be incorporated together just enough so he can not get killed.
@@afro4640 Cal leans more towards Djem So mixed a bit with Ataru, though just slightly. But true, when using the saberstaff or split sabers, he's definetely using Niman. Hell, he's even capable of using Trakata !
@That Tricky Trickster Nah, Cal's style with one saber is a hybrid of Djem So and Ataru, the latter being only relegated to evasive jumps, kicks and leaps, then Niman when using the double bladed saber.
Tapal, on the other hand, is a bit tricky. True, he relies a lot on the Force, but also physical attacks.
Niman that's for sure, though I'm tempted to say Ataru in the more grounded, wrestler type, kinda like Qui Gon Jinn.
Cal is something of a jack of all trades which makes Niman likely. Niman as a blend of all disciplines. It makes sense he studied in such a varied form given his late game weapon but the thing about JFO is that you can change and alternate how Cal fights. Cal could be a pure Djem So/Shien or a Soresu or an Ataru. Depends on the person’s playstyle. Raw data wise, I’d say Niman. The Force integration, the varied weapon skill set, and then general versatility makes it somewhat obvious.
Personally I don’t think Cal is really a practitioner of any of the main lightsaber forms at least not to the master or near master level. He’s most likely got a strong basis in Shii cho but the main bulk of his practical skillset comes from personal experience. He’s good at blast deflection because he spends a significant amount of time after Bracca deflecting blaster bolts, he’s an adept climber, a good acrobat and has a good degree of strength and stamina because of the years he spent as a scrapper in hazardous areas for his job, he can use a saberstaff because he’s witnessed Jaro Tapal using one and can sense the history of his masters lightsaber and likely some of his experiences with it too. I say Shii Cho over Niman because it’s the style all Padawan are trained in, Cal displays an adept level of proficiency against multiple opponents even early on which is a focus of the style and it was designed for practitioners to let the force guide their actions which is one of the guiding principles his master instilled into him. Cal is one of those fighters who’s skillset is really a stitched together amalgamation of the bits and pieces he’s picked up over time which makes the whole greater than the sum of its parts. He represents the idea of a Niman practitioner very well he’s just achieved it in an unconventional way. It does mean when faced against more proficient trained force wielders he’s fighting an uphill battle as we see demonstrated against Taron Malicos and against a true master he isn’t able to make much headway at all as we see with Vader.
I can't decide what is cooler about Jaro Tapal.
The fact that he is a Lasat like Zeb, Or that he used a double-bladed Lightsaber like Darth Maul.
I hope to see Jaro (voiced by Travis Willingham, from Critical role) on screen
I mean, it definitely wasn't a force ghost. It was a vision, one that reflected Cal's feelings of failure and inadequacy. It wasn't actually Tapal. That's pretty clear.
Being that the bo rifle lessat not imperial like zeb and kallus (best weapon outside lightsaber) is the natural weapons of their force gaurds the honor gaurd and the staff being big in lessat culture its fitting he weilds a saberstaff tho i wish it was the size of savage opress and pong krell but understand since it becomes a humans primary weapon
Jaro tapal one of my favorite jedi masters and one of the wisest.
Anyone else thought Jaro Topal was voiced by Dan Green ... aka Atem/Yami Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh? His voice sounds almost like Atem.
You should make a podcast if you have the time and want to. I would listen to every episode all the time
...and Travis Willingham is the voice actor!
That was really beautiful
CGI lasat looks good live. Should have a cameo by zeb or an unknown lasat in the mandalorian.
Thanks for talking about me i died saving cal me yoda and ashoka knew about order 66 we are the only jedi that senced it
Just before the clone troopers got to the room where they killed the Clone Commander, Who were the clones shooting at? there were many blaster fire before they got there

Would you consider the unpublished book series Alien Exodus a story made to tie in all of George Lucas’s movies as part of your Star Wars head canon? And also do think you can do a Star Wars Explained video talking about the story of Alien Exodus while mixing it in with the Star Wars legends and canon explanation on origins of humans?
In case you don’t know what the story of Alien Exodus is here’s a link starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Alien_Exodus
This is what Disney should do though, make Star Wars movies focusing on alien beings in the galaxy, instead of just humans all the time.
Also they revealed jaro tapal’s master was yaddle in Jedi survivor
i hope we see both Cal and Jaro Tapal in season 7
Was that his force ghost or was it cause he was on Dathomir that dark planet and it was some sort of illusion?? kinda like that cave from Yodas planet and Japal was being mean I couldn’t tell
GucciJo2 yeah it wasn’t a force ghost
To tell me is it possible to make those three that I sent you how powerful is Mace Windu Yoda or Anakin Skywalker
Of course it is and we will do them, but we can't promise when because we have about 30 videos already planned before those.
I can tell he was much more of a gentle Giant like father to cal
Love his character
His lightsaber wasn’t found by tapal it fell! Cal uses his master’s broken doublebladed one
Commander of the Iron Brigade, voiced by the great Travis Willingham!

Purely amazing will you be doing storys about Kal cere Marrin greez trilla and terron malicos
Yep ;)
@@TheScoundrelsCantina cool keep up the good work and stay strong
I always thought that Lasat had lime green eyes like Zeb, but Tapal’s eyes are blue. It looks better though.
It's probably similar to how two humans can also have different eye colors. Although whether the range of different eye colors is higher, lower or roughly even remains to be seen.
I hope that they would add him in a DLC For jedi fallen order like a few months before order 66 that would be epic
This is the way
