I couldn’t help but cry and be so in awe of this episode. We gotta give Bella Ramsey her flowers for that performance. I was in tears at the end and felt Ellie’s emotions through the screen almost. This show has been impressing me thoroughly as someone who played both games, the changes made are great world building additions or changes that make more sense creatively. This better win awards come next awards season

It’s funny when you mentioned her micros in the last episode I really thought about it and I thought about how in the Midwest there are black people, but there isn’t a lot of black people so most hair shops would still be fully stocked right it would only happen in major cities we’re all that shit would be emptied And we know that art of braiding hair will probably never die as long as there is black people alive so it’s totally possible for someone even her self to have done her braids I really gave this some thought when you mentioned it. 😂😂😂

It's funny that the backstory of ellie and roley felt misplaced because that story was actually dlc (downloadable content) that wasnt intended or planned for the original game.
The writers new ellie wasnt straight. But it didnt really factor into the main game but they wanted some kind of love story attached. So they created a much smaaller add-on for the game after it came out. It cost only like 20 bucks and you just got to play a small exert from ellies past.
So its kind of fitting that it felt random... it kind of was random.
