Yipee! I was waiting for you. I heard things were thinging and it would take you an extra minute; so, I waited anxiously but patiently. I did not play the game so my opinion of the Fireflies is based solely on the show. That said, these are the reasons why I dislike Marlene and the Fireflies. Recruited Reilly, a minor, for their cause and didn't clear the mall before putting her in that station. Kidnapped Ellie, a traumatized 14 yo (she had just killed her infected best friend, Reilly). Mesmerized a PTSD suffering Ellie into thinking her purpose was to "save the world". Tricked Joel and Tess into taking Ellie by offering to pay any payment they wanted. Took away Ellie's right to choose from her (although I do believe Ellie would have done whatever Marlene told her to do). Dismissed Joel and Ellie's relationship by not allowing them to say goodbye to each other. PLUS, THEY DID NOT PAY JOEL FOR BRINGING ELLIE ACROSS THE COUNTRY TO THEM. THAT'S TOTAL BS!🤬🤬🤬
First reaction where I see someone mention spinal fluid! Exactly, why did this doctor not try anything else first - blood, bone marrow, spinal fluid, before going for the brain, cause if she dies and your first plan doesn’t work, you aren’t getting a second chance..
I still remember there being another ending to the game where Joel left Ellie with the Fireflies and they found a cure must have been a fever dream or a glitch in the multiverse lol
Well they're going to make more than one season out of the second game and it's going to be more action they said. So I think season 2 and 3 will give you more of what you're looking for hopefully. I'm looking forward to it.
