I absolutely love these movie’s growing up most girl would watch stuff like Disney I was and still am obsessed with dragons and the fact they put Draco in the background in many scenes still makes me dry this series is the only movie series that’s ever made me cry of happiness and sadness love these movies ❤️
The prequels treat the dragons like supporting character rather then main. That disappoints me. Draco wasn't a secondary character, he was the main.
I guess it's much closer to what the original movie was supposed to be. Which the story focused on the humans and had darker themes and moments in it, but test audiences and the studio wanted it more marketable for kids, and many scenes were cut.

Oh, too bad that the dragons are only secondary characters in Dragonheart 3,4 and 5? I haven't watched these movies. I have watched Dragonheart 1 in 1998 and Dragonheart 2 in 2000.
I watched the first and second dragonheart movie many many years ago, i randomly found this and as soon as that same theme started playing it instantly gave me some nostalgia feels
Same here! I just discovered this! Amazing !! A movie with a friendly dragon that I haven't seen yet! I watched Dragonheart 1 in 1998 on VHS and Dragonheart 2 in 2000! I didn't know that there are more Dragonheart movies, really cool!

I watched this movie. My opinion? Skip it, the movie went off the deep end and it's so on the nose it hurts. It starts out with a lot of promise, but let me tell you, what you see is just about all of the good parts the film has. You've already seen the best of it. Save yourself the pain, just watch the first two and be done with it.
I can only hope maybe that a new film is released one day that does live up to what dragon heart should be but this one just isn't it.
