So, which was the error here? Was it the error that it passed the other systems while they may in reality be all broken, or was the error that it considered itself to fail the check, despite not actually having a bug? Except for.... The bug that caused it to fail itself in the first place, despite not having anything wrong with,........ except for that bug th.......
My god. It's an infinite bug feedback loop.
This my friends, is the power of imagination.
That was my first thought, if the system scan said everything passed but itself failed, then the whole thing was void. Very strange. :)

If you ask me, it probably checked if the ship’s main computer system was able to boot up. The bootstrap probably has a backup computer built into it, in case the main computer fails. That’s why it’s super outdated, the backup’s never been needed for use before, so its never updated.
Semicolons. Use them! "a1; navigate 2 r2; generator; a1" - It will do the sequence in order. Better than having to type them all individually when SHTF.
The turret is the gatling from the beta. It was just renamed and nerfed a bit.
I really love the drone view. Love how it's really hard to see but somehow still knd of clear.

What a beautiful start to this run EnterElysium. A turret upgrade at the start is worth it. Turret also goes great with a shield upgrade
The first room from the airlock and all rooms connected by OPEN doors from it are safe initially. It says so in the manual and I believe in the tutorial as well. Also I have never seen a ship yet where the first room doesn't have a power inlet, so explore it fully.
I love this game, no idea if had released!
Here's some tips if you want, if you don't, don't bother reading:
-The game has macros you can create which makes certain tasks way easier (like beginning, ending, or doing complex repeated tasks where speed is key).
-"start" will pull your first two drones out and have the second run generator. I edited it to have a motion detector run too.
-"end" will pull all your drones back to r1.
-default equipment load out is garbage. You're already finding that have a motion sensor (stationary use) does work with gather (moving use). What feels good is personal preference but default is almost always terrible.
-semi-stationary drones (motion, generator, etc.) often have extra slots you can keep less used tools in and swap them out onto your exploration drones
-this is personal preference, but I like to spend some scrap to speed up my exploration drone from the get go. It's saved my butt a few times when I need to get away quickly.

OP combo: Stealth, Turret, Lure. Then again, stealth and turret are programmed to have the highest chances of failing, but it’s still SUPER overpowered.
I love the aesthetic of the art design in this game. It reminds me of the computers in Alien. I'll definitely be picking this up at some point, your video helped me make the decision after this popped up in my "recommended" list on Steam. Great video, thanks!
Couldn't you put the Motion Sensor and the Generator on the same drone, activate both somewhere central, and not have to worry about wasting charges?
+Urchin Uprising Motion only scans adjacent rooms to the one you use the scan in and I have had ships that have 20+ rooms and 6+ air locks
then you would need to take the generator drone back and fourth to scan adjascent rooms and back to generators
Yes. And if you do end up needing to move the motion detector but not the generator, you can have a drone take "motion" off of the generator drone

Plot twist. There are no humans left. The entire galaxy is machines. The search for survivors objective does not refer to humans, it refers to the leftover drones on the ships. You play as a ship's AI computer, which is why you do not need food or water, only scrap and fuel.

Hey Elysium, I've been looking for this video for 5 years. 5 long years, and I finally did it. I couldn't remember the name of the game, and only found out today when I saw it on sale for cyber Monday. I've been here with you and watched your channel grow for 5 years and I've loved every second of it. I know you won't see this, but your videos have influenced me to be who I am today. Keep on going strong, man!
A stealth generator basically means that you wont easily lose your generator guy once everything goes awry

if i remember, the first room trough the airlock is safe, so is the room with the open door, but if there are 2 open doors, there might be danger, also, you can use the "navigate" command on doors and airlocks
This will be entertaining to watch. EE, I hope you remember all the tricks and dangers of these derelicts. I haven't watched the vid yet but I am going to guess you haven't remembered how to commandeer ships.
Also a quick hint, not sure if this works anymore but if you type 'begin' into the console at the beginning it will automatically set everything set up to start, which is move everyone to room 2 and issues generator command.
+Sgt Frost the 'end' command will also get everyone to return to r1, the drop ship. Very helpful if you need to get everyone to run away quickly.
+Sgt Frost correction, begin takes you to beginning room next to drop ship. The first room is always clear, otherwise what's the point? Should there be an open door in the first room you arrive in it is usually clear too.

Did you really restart? I just bought it and never get this easy map to start off with anymore. That only happened once, and now I start out with volatile stuff, giant space stations full of alienes, leaking hulls and meteor strikes. Just right off the bat! I mean one of my starting maps started leaking right where my generator drone was standing so I just had to leave. It's very frustrating to deal with all of it when all you have is a sensor, a lure, generator and tow. I want the noob map!

This game, having played it myself, is surprisingly terrifying even on the easiest setup. Still very new to the game and learning all the tricks and traps so to have drones suddenly start dying...yeeeeeah it's pretty scary.
Thank goodness i watched this youtube video. Saved me wasting time and money on a game for Trainspotters.
If you type start at the beginning of boarding it'll move and generate right off the bat

If it was arms or disarms DRONE turret then yes, it is on the drone.

i get how they want it to look like an old computer interface but the effect where all the lines keep flickering on basicly everything but the console is supper annoying.

Rogue is a game not a genre, as much as clone isn't a game genre either. You wont see people saying Need For Speed Like to every racing game out there. So many dense people out there.
