I know this is such a weird thing to comment on. But I really appreciate how each character has a different body type. Like Gus and Hunter are different ages and they’re in fact drawn differently. Hunter is closer to being an adult and it’s shown in his design. He’s growing into more his height and he has broader shoulders. Also love our curvy Queen Willow!

I never noticed the plants were heart shaped, that’s so cute! Also love how Hunter tears up when Willow asks why she’s trying to be someone different. It’s not just because he cares about her, he also relates to this kind of thinking himself. I’m sure while he’s spending time with Willow and Gus and Lux he constantly thinks that way about himself.
Something that I realized only looking back now was that the only other time hunter ever heard willow call herself half a witch was when hunter captured them for the emperor's coven
It was her saying that which made him start to question what he was doing. Seeing this brave confident girl be filled with doubts about herself triggered him into action.
