KASSIL MY FRIEND! This is such an epic concept for a retro Metroid theme, it gives a unique take on a newly undiscovered Chozo ruin and I can picture it playing in the background during gameplay! Once again you have outdone yourself and have proven how much of a Fellow Metroid fan you are! Think we can get some more 15 minute extensions some time?
This is really good. I get the feeling of a volcanic area, personally. Maybe not necessarily inside one, but around one or a few. Of course it could be inside, too. Another connection I heard, whether it was intentional or not, are the three first notes that play in here are the same three notes that play in your Ancient Cavern theme for Metroid 64. A volcanic area definitely makes the most sense. And like I said on Twitter, the percussion, low choirs and low rumbly bassline give off that impression.
You got a great ear Uffe! It was indeed on purpose, I wanted this to be sort of the bigger picture of the Ancient Cavern, like the cavern itself it's located inside Girion, glad to see you noticed that ;)

This is so good the beat is so catchy, I imagine volcanic caverns/jungle zone for this tune, what did you have in mind when making it?

I actually have mixed thoughts with this! Same as you, I thought of a volcanic cave/forest, but then I added some metallic rhythms that could also feel like an overgrown ship or facility maybe? I'm not 100% sure, and i think that's what I liked from this hehe

@TheMissingLink2 the last 4 years have been more than this project, it's been me learning how to make games period. Now I have a black belt in design, and Retro will be embarrassed with the trailer I will put out. Give it a bit more time, the trailer alone's taking a bit but it will bring us all to tears of what could have been
