I love how this is a stealth cover of Kraid's boss battle themes from Zero Mission and Super Metroid. I really like how heavy and primal you made it sound. It fits Kraid's nature as a big feral monster really well. And the triumphant transition to Samus's theme? PERFECT.
The chanting and the thumping reminds me of Hans Zimmer's Dune soundtrack too. Not sure if that was intentional.

I really love the tribal sounds. The subtle Vs. Kraid theme is really cool! It doesn't come off as showy, like, "Guys, it's Kraid's theme," because that subtly is enough.

Oh that sounds amazing! I really love that almost tribal and wild feel you have with the atmosphere. Like Samus is being hunted by something truly dangerous. Excellent work. I certainly hope if we do get a metroid movie, they bring you on for the soundtrack!
Exactly! I’m trying to give the space pirates this brutal and savage vibe, and I thought the tribal bass chants and heavy drums could achieve that very well.
