This is another faithful arrangement, it keeps the original feel but with real synth sounds instead of just Game Boy bleep-bloops. In a Dread-style remake, this would fit perfectly. If I ever run my Dark Heresy game again, where the whole game was just an excuse to run Metroid Fusion but with Space Marines, I'm absolutely going to make use of this.

One of the VERY few great reimaginations of such an incredible, ominous, and one of the most memorable boss themes. My favorite.
I can't help but feel a bit sad whenever I listen to this song because we have to kill him later in the game. The moment the conputer said to Samus that he had biological components I was like "nooooo, he's definitely getting infected later in the game" and then when we fight him his screams sounds so real and panful, like the original (before infection) was still there. It was the most painful boss fight for me because of that, I felt that I was actually killing a sentient being, not the parasites
What? I think you're getting the security robot and nightmare mixed up. You never meet nightmare before it's infected.
@@fungi265 we do meet Nightmare indirectly when visiting his sector. He is behind the glass flying around
Amazing arrangement! Like others have said: it stays faithful, but adds modern synth sounds and effects! This should be in Prime 4... Especially if The Nightmare ever returns.

Omg 😳 the nostalgia...... 😍 Allow me to explain, I'll try to be quick lol. I am halfway through being 28 years old... This was the second game I ever played and the first one I beat. I was in grade 1! Me and my buddy even went so far as to work together to get every secret, but there was only one, one damn secret we needed help with! 😁 Haha 🤣💀 I guess I'm listening to this and Metroid Prime tracks all day now! 🤷 Sub Jutsu BTW!!!
