  • This is my local honey hole riding spot here in Northern Colorado. I don't think it is a widely talked about riding area, like you here about at woodland park, but beautiful non the less. the trail is great for beginner riders and kids. there are a couple technical sections here at Pratt Creek that are a little hairy but manageable. it's mostly a quiet area, even in the summer months but i do frequently see campers along the route. if you are doing this trail just note that you can jump onto FR 314 and FR 315, which are a bit more rocky and technical. on the west side of Cherokee Park Rd (80C) there is another trail system called Acme Creek, which you would have to drive/ride over the shallow creek to access. if you have the CO Trex app, you can see the trail access point to Acme Creek that resides between FR 314 and FR 315. Acme creek is also very beautiful and scenic...Just watch out for cows! This trail system is great for enduro riders and even co necessary to the trail system in Wyoming.
