- I did a few extra things than I originally signed up for Amen, here's a compilation of all that stuff.

HOLY COW I DIDN'T SEE GRAYSTRIPE COMING! That is so cool and adds so much story! The extra touches on this MAP are so incredible and really make it next level.

I love this endcard! I had no idea Graystripe was crossing the river. Also, when we see Silverstream, does she say "Hi, dad."? It looks like her mouth is saying that.
She does! I could have just had her make noise but I thought it would be a nice way to grab his attention.

the credits literally hurt SO bad and something abt graystripe coming up the stones makes it feel more. like. actually taking place IN time, if that makes sense, and it adds sm more weight to this i LOVE IT UGGHH
The addition of Graystripe crossing the river with Featherkit and Stormkit is such an incredible detail! Didn’t even notice him at first! Just shows how much care you put into the end credits.
I also love how Minnowkit attempts to pounce on her dad’s tail. And just how tiny they are, really puts it into perspective just how young they were when they died. Poor little things.
Another cool detail is that Silverstream is less transparent/spirit-like than the others. Indicating that she just recently died, while the others have been dead for longer (of course it may just be for better visibility lol).
the water looks amazing! i would love to know how you rendered it. i didn't notice graystripe was crossing the river until now, but it's a nice touch
i absolutely adore part 18! the emotion in crookedstar is palpable. and god, the way u drew his jaw was amazing! honestly the best depiction of his injury imo. i was never really able to picture what it would look like until this shot. incredible work. incredible map. incredible song.
Rewatching this, MANNNN Willowkit and Minnowkit fall asleep during the end and Willowbreeze even tells them to wake up to go back to StarClan. H o l y c o w the details are so amazing. I like sliverstream not having the complete celestial vibe going on yet like the other cats, since she probably hasn’t entered StarClan before she knows that the kits and graystripe are okay. And also, maybe graystripe can’t see sliverstream, since he doesn’t acknowledge her, mostly just Crookedstar in the moment, so she’s guiding gray to crooked without gray even knowing broOoOo
This is what I aspire to create one day
The detail is incredible in that end scene. The way you can tell that Crookedstar cant really see Shell, Hail, Oak, Willow and the Kits but is still interacting with them as though he knows theyre there. The way we can see the weight of Graystripe carrying those kits in such a far distance. The way silverstream is colored inbetween because she hasnt yet gone to Starclan so we know Crookedstar can see her and agree to care for Stormkit and featherkit. The way the cats dont just freeze once the animation is over but still floating and fidget. Just so much amazing detail 😭 beautiful.
Holy clams, there was so much I didn't notice about the last shot!
All the cats coming in one by one, complete with Graystripe coming up to and then jumping across the stones in the river with the kits!
Each extra thing was beautiful and I think you did a great job on the river and that entire scene!!
the credits hit me like a ton of bricks, also Greystripe animated in the background jumping across the rocks is a wonderful attention to detail I had to rewatch a couple times to notice!
I WATCHED THIS MAP 5 TIMES YESTERDAY AND I NEVER SAW GRAYSTRIPE IN THE BACKGROUND. HOLY SHIT. YOU DIDN'T EVEN HAVE TO DO THAT BUT YOU DID AND YOU DID IT SO INCREDIBLY OUT OF THIS WORLD DETAILED WITH FANTASTIC CHARACTER ACTING IN HIS MOVEMENTS. INSANE. I'VE NEVER BEEN ANGIER AT HOW MUCH TALENT AND HOW MUCH EFFORT SOMEONE PUT INTO THEIR UNPAID HOBBY WORK LABOR OF LOVE.

It's such a small detail but I love the butt-wiggle when Greystripe attempts to make the big jump in the back. It's such a natural thing for a cat but makes it all the more believable!
The lipsync you did on part 18 is so good! I’ve never seen anyone lipsync Crookedstar speaking so cleanly like that

Oh my gosh the tiny Graystripe jumping across the river!! The end credit scene is gorgeous all around.
idk much about animation, but lipsyncing seems tricky, can only imagine how hard it must have been to make a cat with a crooked jaw convincingly cry sing. this looks great, and the emotion is so raw. I'm a super grown ass man who only started reading this series less than a year ago because of all the talent it inspires in the fandom. cant say I love the books, but I love how creative y'all are. you did make me cry.
I was so distracted by the clear and beautiful character acting on silverstreams face that i didnt even notice graystripe teetering across 😭 and i gotta give props to you animating crookedstars complex jaw shape so clearly in a 3d space god i love the way you make these little battle cats emote
Bro greystripe should give MapleShade some lessons on jumping with kits over stepping stones🤣🤣 he was over there in seconds holding TWO kits🤣

One of the BEST Warrior Cats Animations I've seen this year!~ The entire team did such a lovely and phenomenal job! I hope to be as good at making animations like this for myself and my characters someday :)
That credits scene was pure excellency
Silverstream's tail was holding back the grass for Greystripe. I didn't see that when I was watching the full map. Such a small detail but made it look like she was guiding him there.
little graystripe in the back! i didnt see him the first time! its like that same elusion your brain makes, when your focused on one thing infront of you, you dont notice anything in the background because your eyes are drawn to one specific spot, its really cool!
Part 18 is so emotional I am in love with the stomp he does near the end

The entire map was gorgeous and everyone who worked on it deserves to feel very proud. I love all the details that went into your piece of CrookedStar screaming and obviously the end credit details are just mind-blowing. Love it

I love the expression on Oakheart's face in part 18. He's in so much despair, watching his mother yell at his brother, and he knows how wrong her actions are, and yet he's helpless to do anything.

The effects on the river were probably one of the first bits I noticed in that ending scene. Your work definitely didn't go unnoticed!

One thing I noticed that stuck with me was the lip sync with the crooked jaw!!! It not only looked so good but it really did his jaw justice rather than removing it so itd be "easier"
your lipsync to amen is probably one of my favorites ever. the emotion and fluidity are so palpable

All the little things get me but I think the most is when Crooked is singing I love how agitated his tail gets the more he gets into it. He fidgets with it, curls it, and then it fluffs out and shows so much. Love this, Alex! Amen is definitely my favorite MAP of all time at this point.

Your part with Koheina was my favourite, it was so overwhelming, and this whole MAP was absolutely wonderful! That was the MAP Crookedstar needed. Also, I watched many times the ending credits when I first watched the MAP, and when I noticed Graystripe behind, I was so impressed!! So much details, it's incredible!! :((

The final bit, with the river, the way each cat even WALKS differently, all the subtle movements that imply intimacy or guilt or pride... I love it. Masterful.
