Really enjoy watching your videos. Drove for UPS for several years and after watching your videos I think it would be fun to buy a truck/trailer combo and hit the road for a little adventure.
Probably the biggest reason we stay away from outside load boards is because our agents are probably soliciting the very same shippers as the truck brokers that are posting freight on outside public internet load boards. Not smart to help them cover that freight.

Hi Dan I liked the way Mercer load board worked and I tried not to go west of Denver and that was rough it self. Me and Karen had a real good working relationship we did like to stack loads about a week out when we could. That secret location let's just say not a secret when you've been there a few times lol
I used to pass that road ranger everyday on my route. Kankakee to Champaign, Springfield, Peoria, and back to Kankakee. Great route 👌 too bad Corona virus ended my job 😢

I live in the state, I also pronounce the S, if it's silent then they should remove it. We could save money on ink printing all those silent S's. The only thing that's supposed to be silent in this state is the CORRUPTION. We've enough governors in prison to somewhat prove that. Guess they worried about keeping the S silent instead of their illegal activities.

I made drops at the plant several times I had to drive down the road make some left turns and go inside the plant to unload

Why don't all businesses that take deliveries have a phone number or Email and a website to show a map of their location so trucks know where to go?
Typically no one cares about the trucker. Some do.
